[BOOTANIMATION] Haters Gonna Hate - Nexus 6P Themes and Apps

Hey guys! First for all I would like to give all credits to @DocNinja for making this awesome boot animation for the HTC G1. I have simply resized the zip so it's fullscreen on the Nexus 6P, quality loss is minimal so it still looks pretty great! Just rename to BOOTANIMATION.zip and place in /system/media/ enjoy everyone! Or you can also download ROM Toolbox from the link in my signature and use it's BOOTANIMATION tool! Enjoy the animation guys! https://mega.nz/#!VMFSVaxY!J3b67uXAB2sBrXQiDt5cx1g5XRg-rpiYqddoDw1XjKw
Here is the full animation (not correct resolution, just demonstrating the boot animation)

The link takes me to a playstore app (mega), is there anyway we can get the bootanimation without having to download the app?

Got it... Thanks

Thanks, installed and working well! Took me a while to remember to change permissions to RW-R-R before it would work.

So can I just flash this zip file though twrp? or do I have to use the file explorer method, and create a backup and rename?

You will need to use the file Explorer. just backup the original BOOTANIMATION.zip. you can also download Rom toolbox from my signature and use it's boot animation tool.

ok will try the toolbox method. thanks

No, you just need to replace your current bootanimation file on your phone with this one. You can do this using ADB or root explorer. Just search the forum for tutorial

First time I made a bootanimation, I extract the file and examine the content.
Just follow the current folder and file structure and re-zip with new image files.
If failed google will always there for you with a tons of tutorial just like @hav0c said-->

[BootAnimation] Samsung Galaxy Mini

I took the Samsung Galaxy S II boot animation from here and added the 'Galaxy Mini ' portion. I cropped all the frames so the boot animation fits nicely in the QVGA display and is quite clear.
I made the glowing 'S' loop, so, it looks pretty authentic.

I also uploaded the boot animation sound to 4shared and dropbox.
Awesome Thanks!
I think it needs more images in part1, so that frame rate of animation will increase and animation will be smooth.
But I guess its Samsung's fault, they might not had provided more images in original Galaxy S2 bootanimation.
Thanks, you are awesome. Finally changed from CM9 bootanimation. Bootsound is also awesome.

put the bootanimation.zip file to /system/media and delete any other bootanimation.zip from /system/media and fro /data/local
Unless you are still on stock Samsung rom, then in that case flash a decent rom and follow the above instructions
You will need a file browser on your phone which has root r/w access
I suggest root explorer, it's a paid app, but well worth it

[BootAnimation] Multiple Resolution - Zero-G Inkblot

Hey people,
I put together this slick boot animation based on an animation posted on Google+ by Marques Brownlee.
Here are a few facts :
There are two files. 30 images per second and 60 images per second.
It's not flashable. Install it with a root-enabled file explorer or with a boot animation changer such as this one. If you do it manually, don't forget to rename the appropriate file to bootanimation.zip
I posted four different resolutions, which I think covers many phones. Feel free to resize it to fit your phone's resolution. You can use Boot Animation Factory for that.
See preview below - it should give you a pretty good idea of the animation itself.

It doesnt matter which version you are running. You just need root to replace the original bootanimation. It should work with GB, ICS and JB.
EDIT:
I researched a little about this and it seems that bootanimations are a kernel feature so you have to know if your kernel supports Bootanimations. Somtimes the file bootanimation.zip is named differently or located in different folders.
Google bootanim too
