I am proud to present to you the BeanStalk Rom created by Scott.Hart.Bti . This is a build composed off of the 4.4 builds he has added alot of features on top of it. So you get speed, stability, ultimate battery life and ultra customization ability. Many of the additional code additions came from Slim ROM and also Derteufels build and have been modified. A huge thanks to them for their work and dedication. Also a big thanks to everyone involved with CM as that is the building stone in this project.

Allready have them, thanks! The rom is good, I did a full whipe before installing and I'm impressed it definitly is smooth, I cant seame to find the custom lookscreen wallpaper but it's ok, I'm installing Facebook now to see if it has contact sync hach (if it's not there I dont mind). Great work dev, do you have a banner I could use at my profile to let the i9300 know of this wonderful rom (I dont have a job now case things arent good on my side but I'd like to help in anyway I can)

Core is just playstore and basic app
Standard is most common apps
I always flash core and get rest from my backups or playstore

Isn't it supposed to be a setup in the beginning? I didn't get a setup. Also the first thing I experienced with this rom was LAG! LAg in the launcher RIGHT AWAY. Also lagging when typing in numbers on dialer. Also recorder is low fps, and the battery is garbage.

first Srry i m being rude ..
But if u donot know how to flash a rom and then saying it has LAG and all then simply donot use this rom ..
1. our build is personally tested before releasing it to public
2. u need to flash Gapps to get Setup
3. do a flash with full wipe
-- know kindly don't spam thread!

I did wipe everything before flashing rom including dalvik cache and system.

Getting this error when I tried to sign in with my Google Account. I tried Banks Core, Banks Standard & Standard Kitkat Gapps. What should I do?

It's preety smooth here man, maybe you should search for mega whipe script for s3, sometimes when you come from touch wizz or lower android versions the system files are in the wrong place so a full whipe dosent work. search for megawhipe in s3 forum, it completly deletes the rom you have and lets you start fresh!

I'm using Banks Core and o issues...go under wireless and networks > mobile metworks > acces point names and see if the default network APN is the right one, if not choose the right one or create it and implement the settings manually

Chroma is a lightweight AOSP ROM focused on battery, performance and stability.

Instructions
1. Download ROM, Gapps and put it on the SD CARD
2. Boot into TWRP recovery.[ IF U WAN TO USE SPROUT8 THEN USE TWRP 2.8.X]
3. Coming from a different ROM? Perform a factory reset using TWRP and wipe /system in Advanced wipe. If you're upgrading from Chroma ROM, proceed to dirty flash (nandroid backup before flashing is a good idea)
4. Clean Installation: Flash ROM, GApps
....Dirty Flash: Flash ROM, no need to wipe
5. Reboot and enjoy.

Ah, Chroma was the best ROM I've ever used on my Nexus 4. Glad somebody is compiling it now, I was about to compile it myself when I got time..

Sorry for double posting, just a heads up for @nazmul.rr, the Chroma's boot animation doesn't seem to be included on your build. Please check your chroma vendor tree (android_vendor_chroma) and make sure that you have included the chroma bootanimation from the prebuilt folder to the makefile (products/chroma_sprout8.mk).
EDIT2: SuperSU doesn't seem to be included, it should be (I've been using an official chroma build). You really need to check your vendor tree to match the official ones. I could do it probably this weekend.

I think Layers Manager need to be installed from Play Store, that's what I did when I was using Chroma on Nexus 4

That is dependent on kernel. The CM14.1 Kernel thats used is not yet updated for HDR. So, you won't find HDR on any of the custom nougat roms.

Nice ROM. MMS not working. When I try to send a picture I lose data. I have T-Mobile S5.

Works fine on my g900w8 . Verry small bug , seconds on status bar doesnt work. The rom seems really stable and can be use as a daily driver.

If you check out settings there is an option to display either 4G or LTE. Whichever you select it won't make a difference in speed but rather just what is displayed in the status bar.

I wanted to share that the BeanStalk-7.1.0-UNOFFICIAL-20161105-klte.zip build is working very smoothly on my SM-G900T running Open GAPPS and Crazy Kernel. My phone did do a single random reboot in the past 2 days........I haven't tried the latest build .......Great Rom! :good:

If you go to settings/more/cellular networks/preferred networks the only options for now are 4g-3g-or2g. You cannot change this at this point to LTE recomended.

I've been checking all Cm14.X threads and roms and i'm reading sooo many randkm bugs , i can't differentiate between official CM14 Bugs and dev bugs in roms, can someone please list what are the official Cm14 bugs ? I want to know if i can change and test this rom, looks sweet! Thanks in advanced.

So the difference is only the tag? Official vs unofficial?
If it's just that, I don't think this is allowed here. All it creates is confusion.
The mods can decide though.

Well I m getting a fingerprint issue. I was trying to register second fingerprint it showed error but I m still able to unlock device with both the fingers.

If u see the "official" thread is there without a download link. Placeholder thread. Thats also not allowed here... Thats also mods can decide though...

Atleast we get a stable download link na
Also if u check the history u can see 3-5 same roms threads from different devs for a single device. With different tags..Sony Xperia section full of same roms available with different devs...
Anyway, I won't flash any roms.. Just telling...

You are right, and I was right. We are on the same page. I didn't say which thread is which. Eventually the link of the official will be up.
I then hope the roms will have something different to offer besides the name tag.

I have flashed the ROM 3 hours ago and started with the setup (unfortunately I am on work now and can't finish it). At the first sight - excellent. GCam mod is working, Viper4 Android and the in-built signature spoofing as well. Cool, very cool!

INSTRUCTIONS TO FLASH:
(FROM FULL STOCK)
0. Boot your phone, enable OEM unlock in developer settings
1. Flash TWRP with Odin, following this thread Galaxy S9 TWRP until it works correctly (to access download mode, press bixby+volume down+power on while phone is turned off)
2. Make sure you are using most recent bootloader and modem, latest one available here on Android File Host
3. Now boot into TWRP by pressing bixby+volume up+power on while phone is turned off
4. If TWRP asks you about allowing system to be edited, swipe yes to confirm
5. In TWRP, go to wipe, format data (a keyboard will pop up now), type "yes" (this will wipe all your data, make sure to have a backup!)
6. Wait till the rom boots up
7. After setting up, open ROM control and check it out!
8. Enjoy the rom!
For advanced users: (Already have TWRP and a idea how to use)
Go to wipe, swipe to factory reset
Move over my ROM or download it before hand
Press install and install it
Reboot

Have you let it rest for a few hours??? If you flash and ise it heavly it will drain

the rom is just 24 hours old, it takes time more than a day to get a good reading , i have downloaded, and at the moment, no out of the ordinary battery problems

Bring your own device - using the phone as a work phone without apps detecting it as rooted / modded device i suppose, if you dirty flash, go try but dont report bugs here please, if you experience bugs while dirty flashing, do a clean flash
