[RECOVERY] TWRP 2.8.7 (compatible with CM13) - Xperia Z2 Original Android Development

Hi,
So I am back to compiling recoveries
Here goes TWRP 2.8.7 for Z2
(This might even work with Z3, but that's on your own risk. )

We need cm13 before we need cm13 compatible recovery

New twrp theme looks cool, but i'm facing brightness issue, i hope it'll fixed ASAP ..

flashable on previous twrp? doesn't it?

While you're at it, could you also include f2fs support? The official TWRP for Z2 Siruis somehow excluded it, even if the device works just fine with it.

3.0.0?

@championswimmer any plans for updating twrp?

Or better yet, what arguments did you use when compiling twrp to use the new recovery partition. I've only found instructions for use with the fotakernel. My googlefu is failing.

Unofficial CM 10.2 for Xperia Z (C6603)

Unofficial, no warranty, express or implied. Not final, nothing to do with the CM people, not backed by them, not made by them, may cause corruption of innocent kittens if used irresponsibly. I am posting this only because the main CM sources are not perfect right now for building for Qualcomm devices just yet, and need some tweaks in new branches.
CM 10.2 Android 4.3 built for, and working on C6603 International Xperia Z, once again thanks to Sony using such nice, open-source-friendly devices.

[ROM][DISCONTINUED][UNOFFICIAL][SGP321] CM11 - KitKat 4.4 [15112013]

DISCONTINUED: I discontinue this in favor of my OMNI-Build. CM is too broken at the moment for me (Graphic glitches as well as regular freezes). Also the FXP builds seem start to roll in. OMNI works fine for me and I will put out a new build tomorrow.
Threw a working CyanogenMod 11 build together. As the bundled CWM does not work, I replaced it with TWRP.
TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK!
EDIT: BE WARE, it seems that the GPU driver screws up and the tablet starts to hang under certain circumstances. I am working on it.
EDIT2: Seems it has nothing to do with the GPU drivers. ReInstalled and wiped and it worked fine the last few hours. Maybe its the GApps. Investigation still ongoing.
Working:
- HSDPA+ (I have no LTE capable card, so I cannot test LTE, but HSDPA+ works)
- Bluetooth
- WiFi
- GPS
- Camera
- Video
- Sound
- Hardware Acceleration
- Rotation
Not working:
- CWM (flashes broken) - replaced it with TWRP
- SELinux is set to permissive for now (otherwise data and cache do not mount)
- Nothing else found .. yet

Most tablet z users own the wifi version. I hope someone makes a Rom for the masses soon.
i got status 7 error while flashing rom using cwm 6.0.3.2
I have one with locked bootloader, just rooted, with not Cwm or twrp.
Will I be able to install this ROM if I installed twrp recovery? Or do I also need to unlock bootloader before flashing?
If yes what are the fastest way to do this.

Nice find man, im gonna give this a try as soon as it downloads been running cm 10.2 since i got my xtz so been looking forward to this!
Edit: so i flashed over my cm10.2 with cm11 and 4.4 gapps at first and then tried a clean flash of the boot img and installing from recovery. so far its not very stable at the moment for me on my pollux_windy, there is no sound but i keep hearing a clicking sound from the tablet, dalvik / art seems to be working but i was having the laggy issues opening the app drawer and unlocking the screen, it looks really nice so far and im enjoying the google launcher experience but i keep getting random hangs and then reboots at the moment. Just done a clean flash and giving art another try.
Edit 2: No such luck still kinda laggy and no sound but with the click noise repeating every few seconds, just flashed back to cm10.2 coz i need sound :s keep up the good work though guys, really looking forward to this rom!

[ROM][4.4] CM11 + MEOW Kernel

This is pretty much dead.

The ROM is built everyday around 18:00 GMT+1.
It's bog standard CM11, so changelogs for that can be found here:
http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/q/status:merged+branch:cm-11.0,n,z
http://www.cmxlog.com/11/
The only thing different, is that this build is with MEOW kernel, which hopefully is alright with @jeroenqui
MEOW-Kernel thread is available here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2448130
For donations, please refer to the CM11 guys, FXP, jeroenqui and whomever else is making it possible for me to build this rom for you guys.
Builds are available here: http://cm11.karbowiak.dk/
For Google Apps, please refer to the PA Google Apps packages, which are available here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2397942
Enjoy!

Best KK rom for our device so far
I'm still on 11/23 build, but it's stable and have a great battery performance
I can only imagine that with MEOW Kernel will be even better
Hi LaMaaH , can you build a removed DoubleTap2Wake and Sweep2Wake version of MEOW Kernel , I always have touch-going-crazy problem with those 2 features.
Can use Android 4.3 CWM to upgrade?
or need to use flash 4.4 img first?

I think the Kernel is still in the early builds, just wait till the dev updates it and you'll see more features and stability.
Cause I switched into this rom and I find that the recovery which comes with this rom the newest version I assume and it's a bit slow compare to the the last version., So I assume that the it will be fine once the kernel gets updated well
So how does this fare compared to the other 4.4 roms out there?
Does it have the huge lockscreen delay and random lags like the rest?
Is superuser working in ART?

Hey man, it's alright.. Although technically flashing my package should also work with default CM builds...
Will test this and fix it when needed.. I hear some people have problems flashing it over another ROM.
not tried this build, but have a go at disabling hw overlays to see if it helps with the erratic touchscreen behaviour.

If anyone wants me to take it down lmk. This is not my build, it was uploaded and most likely compiled by "DeVortex"
You also may want to check out this app:

It allows you to edit the quick settings tiles to anything you like. I tested it with this build of cm13 and it works great.

Don't feel sad its buggy AF its unusable
Their really should make a thread for this I tried this on my unlock Sprint s5 and its not as buggy as people say Im using build 10302015 klte version and it pretty smooth now on tap doesn't work but everything else so far does. For those having trouble installing or it getting stuck booting just power off reboot recovery and factory reset again and it should work

It's Android 5.1.1. Yesterday I tried to Boot it Booted up. I tested it and it works but the camera doesn't work.
It's uploading now!!!!!!!! I cant test it because my mini 2 charging port not working......
Test it by yourself and say me thats working or not please. When not working I'm gonna fix it.

Gapps: opengapps.org ( pick arm>> android 5.1 >> pico )(51MB I think )
(because the system partition has only 497.19MB i think)
Install method:
download the rom and the gapps.
download and install the v3 stable cwm recovery( credits @simokb1996) Link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-mini/mini-2-dev/cwm-6-0-5-1-galaxy-mini-2-s6500-t3201861

ah ok i interstand now
you build contains a lot of errors you just ported from pico
it does'nt build from source and it gave problems in recovery
because the recovery can handle just cm11 but the updater-script in cm12.1 need a cm12.1 recovery
recovery
How can I build a CM12.1 recovery? @simokb1996
