Hi Bro... Can we able to bring this for Mi4i ????

Hello people !
Thanks for the thread. I'm trying to root an Elephone M2 "Elephone_M2_20160223" 5.1 and I got a twrp but with the flash of the update supersu zip I've got a problem : it doesn't work. I tried with the one mentionned in post 1, even with 2.46 2.65 and latest 2.71 : nothing works from this twrp (installation aborted) and I can't change the Twrp. From the applications I tried phone on like Kangoroot and others, failed again.
What can I do to root this phone, please ?
OK I'm sorry Kingoroot.apk give me root rights, sorry for my questions, i't seems ok now. I need nox to replace the kinguser app by the super su app for the binaries and for the choice. I hope I'll find out.
Thank you !
Edit : To give me super su working I need twrp working. King root give me the root rights but replace it and I can't do more. Flashify do work only with supersu so it's not working. My so called TWRP is "recovery LMY47D dev-keys" is it really a TWRP ? I'm not sure now. And I can't flash or install anything from here...
Ah Ah ! Sorry for the useless post again ! Flashify finally worked and I've flashed the nice recovery image from Carliv 6 Rebooting... Super su tell me it's not uptodate... the recovery do its job, rebooting... (twice) and it works !
Thank you for reading, I feel sorry and stupid but thanks to this thread I found answers !

Unofficial release -TWRP recovery for the Galaxy A7 - SM-A710F/FD/Y/M Exynos7580
UPDATE 14/4/2016: TWRP 3.0.2-0 released.
https://twrp.me/site/update/2016/04/...-released.html
TWRP is now v3.0.2-1
SEANDROID warning fix
New feature available in TWRP 3.0.0-0 is system image backup and restore and factory image flashing (see TWRP changelog for details)
Basically this means factory images from the official firmware can now be flashed with TWRP instead of ODIN. I have extended this feature to include BOOT, RECOVERY, SYSTEM, CACHE, HIDDEN and RADIO(MODEM) partitions.
This feature can be found under INSTALL >> INSTALL IMAGE >> select image to flash >> select partition.
NOTE: To flash the modem, first it needs to be renamed to modem.bin.img
F2FS support added.
Internal SUPERSU root option removed. This is to prevent boot loops on 5.11/6.0 devices
You flash this at your own risk. Please ensure you have the stock ROM to hand downloaded from SAMMOBILE in case of problems. This will trip the knox counter.
Instructions:
Flash with ODIN 3.10.7 in the AP slot.
Uncheck Auto reboot.
Load the respective file below into the AP slot and hit start.
After flashing immediately reboot to recovery by holding POWER + HOME + VOL DOWN.
As soon as the screen goes blank change to VOL UP whilst still holding the other buttons.
You should now see TWRP recovery.
twrp_3.0.2-1_sm-a710
PLEASE DO *NOT* DIRECT LINK TO THESE FILES. PLEASE LINK TO THIS POST
To Root:
Flash the file below with TWRP:
DO NOT LET TWRP ROOT YOUR DEVICE IF IT ASKS. USE ONLY THE FILE BELOW:
https://download.chainfire.eu/969/SuperSU/
DEVICE TREE: soon
NOTE: ON SOME ANDROID 5.1.1 DEVICES IT IS NECESSARY TO GO TO:
Settings -> Developer Options -> OEM unlocking
AND ENABLE OEM UNLOCK FIRST OR YOU MAY ENCOUNTER 'BLOCKED BY FRP LOCK' WHEN FLASHING.
Credits: Me, Teamwin and my testers - nhthiencp
Please note I don't own this device and spend a lot of my free time bringing these builds for you to use and benefit from.
FEEDBACK IS APPRECIATED PLEASE.
THANKS.
DONATE ME HERE IF YOU WANT TO BUY ME A BEER OR HIT THE THANKS BUTTON IF I HELPED YOU
.
works like a charm 100%
thank u so much :good:

Hi Ashyx,
Saw that you posted TWRP for both A510F and A710F, any chance you could compile for the A310F too?
It would be very much appreciated!

The stock firmware, but why would you?
Incase the mobile has boot loop
For safety i want the stock recovery
From twrp recovery installed xposed installer some times mobile will be in boot loop for that i want the stock recovery
How is stock recovery going to rescue you from a bootloop?
For that you need a custom recovery like twrp to simply make a backup first.
Kk thank u
Can we install xposed installer in A710FD
Please suggest me its working or not

[ZE601KL] Official Marshmallow WW_V21.40.1220.1698 ROOT and TWRP install

P/S: Im sorry if im against this XDA or forums rules. Its my first time to post something. If i done something wrong kindly let me know.
Condition: You have Official Marshmallow WW_V21.40.1220.1698 installed on your ZE601KL (I forgot to mention that Im coming from CM13, that makes it need bootloader unlock n root probably?)
TWRP install:
-go into fastboot mode (shut down your phone. press VOL UP + POWER at the same time until it vibrates and release)
-download and install adb (can get it here i guess. credit to @snoop005 )
-download twrp here (credit to maintainer @LuK1337) and put it in the ADB folder
-in ur pc hold shift + right click and click "open command window here" in ADB folder
-type in "fastboot device" and make sure ur device is detected
-type in "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" (recovery.img must be the same name with the twrp that u hv downloaded eg:fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.2-4-Z00T.img )
-type in "fastboot boot recovery.img" (recovery.img must be the same name with the twrp that u hv downloaded eg:fastboot boot twrp-3.0.2-4-Z00T.img )
-look at ur phone and it should be installed
Root install
-download SuperSU (credit to @Chainfire) (thanks to @Cr0ssL1nk for notify me about the updated SuperSU! )
-boot to recovery (shut down your phone. press VOL DOWN + POWER at the same time until it vibrates and release)
-select install and browse for the .zip file location
-wait for the installation done and ure good to go
It works on my ZE601KL!!!
Thank you very much xyexiaoyuer in your first post
I would assume this process is the same for any of the variants for which the bootloader is already unlocked and assuming you use the correct TWRP image.
If nothing else, it should work for any Z00T phone. I'll try it on my ZE551KL tonight.

On the "fastboot boot recovery.img", I first got it to successfully transfer over something, then the second line said that it failed.
I continually did this and got the same results and my phone continued to say "fastboot" in the corner, so I wasn't sure if anything had happened.
I finally "gave up" and pulled the battery but I booted into the Recovery (Vol down + Power) and found that TWRP actually was installed and from there I flashed over SuperSU and was rooted in minutes.
Great job, and thanks! I may be a bit rusty with all this since this is my first Android device in about 3 years.

Boot twrp, not flash it to root?
Does anyone know if it his possible to just boot twrp from adb/ fasboot( not actually flash it), flash SuperSU to root my device, then reboot to stock to keep stock recovery ? My bootloader is unlocked.

Thanks, but I am pretty sure Flashing twrp writes over stock recovery and unless someone else has the stock image, you can't get it back. I don't know how to make a backup of stock recovery, that's why I wondered if only booting twrp will work.

if ure using ze601kl, i think the stock recovery can be downloaded here .. download according to your version of firmware of course =) let me know if its work for you. the last time im coming from cm13 to Lollipop im using recovery from there to write off twrp. hope this helps =)
Thanks, that's a great resource! I kind of hijacked this thread since I have the ze551kl. Even though its a zoot model, I'm reluctant to flash anything that is not the exact model firmware. Will the 601 image work for the 551?

You can boot into TWRP without overwriting your stock recovery using:
HTML:
fastboot boot twrp.img
That would allow you to install SuperSU without actually installing TWRP. If you want to replace stock recovery with TWRP, you would use:
HTML:
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img

Are you sure your phone is truely rooted and that apps needing root really works ?
Because in the official SuperSU page on XDA: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1538053 , the developpers says your phone must already be rooted before flashing SuperSU.
Also, change the 2.76 Beta's link you gived for SuperSU in your tutorial to the 2.76 Stable version from my link to the official SuperSU XDA page.

Welp! now that i check back using "root check" apps it seems that the app hv some trouble to detect whether the phone is rooted. the last time everything was okay except for busybox. Perhaps because i rebooted the device? nvrtheless i will update the link and test the stable supersu given in the link

I don't think rebooting caused this.
The thing that makes me worry is that Busybox was not okay the first time you rooted your phone, because it must be one of the first thing that must be ok when you root a phone.
Have you got any updates on your side about making root really working ?

Also, check this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=67978015&postcount=8
Because you also must allow SuperSU in ASUS' Autostart Manager, that may be the problem you also got.
But please remember: Do not post something that seems to work but is not, a Beta or something not stable to other people without a lot of checking first

Thanks to everyone's help and ideas and especially to @rczrider. On my ze551kl, I successfully booted the twrp.img in fastboot, did a backup through twrp, then installed supersu zip, and successfully rooted. No overwrite of stock recovery with all the root privileges. Perfect.

[GUIDE][Q&A] All in One Guide and Q&A for Infinix Hot 2

Hello there! Newcomer!
Welcome to the Infinix Hot 2 XDA forum!
You're new, huh?
You must be confused by many things! like, rooting, etc.
Well, let me help you, to do some basic!
Now, let's get started!
Code:
I Don't responsible if there any damage(s) on your device becouse of this thread! YOU were the one who choose to do this.
1. When will this month OTA update come?
Well, for 2nd Android One Gen device, we will wait for Infinix (our vendor) to give the update to us, there is no ETA about this, but remember! we still can receive update up to 18 months!
2. Is there any Marshmallow stock rom?
Yes! there is! You can get it on @Mysteryagr post!
3. How do i get to recovery mode?
Sadly, the recovery button is disabled, but worry not! you can flash recovery button enablet via PC, it is located here
And boot to recovery by Power + Volume up
Or,
Connect your device to PC, and then
Code:
adb reboot recovery
And your device should boot to recovery mode.
4. How do i install OTA updates manually?
Firstly, you need to enable your recovery button.
BUT!
There is another option, use
Code:
adb reboot recovery
And your device should boot to recovery mode.
Now, you will face the Android logo with /!\ icon.
Press Volume Down + Power or Volume Up + Power, to show the menus.
Select install from sdcard, select the OTA zip file, and then flash it.
After that, reboot your device, done!
Code:
The boot may take so long, please be patient.
5. How to install CWM/TWRP recovery?
Seriously, you will not need CWM again, but if you still want CWM, you can search it by yourself in this forum.
- Enable the recovery button
- Download up TWRP
- Install it via Flashtool
- Reboot to recovery mode by Volume Up + Power
6. How do i root the device?
Work on both MM/L
- Download SuperSU zip
- Go to recovery mode.
- Install SuperSU zip
- Reboot
7. How to flash something via SP Flashtool?
Go to @Bolumstar thread Here
8. I can't install xposed!
Hey, this isn't KK and earlier. This is Lollipop and above.
Go here for more explaination and tutorials.
9. How do i revert to Stock ROM?
The answer is the same as Question no 7.
And, that is the most mainstream question!
Please reply to this thread if something missing!

- @Nonta72
Please reply to this thread if i forgot someone!
10. how can i unlock the bootloader?
It's optional to unlock your bootloader, but it's highly recommended.
Well, let's go!
1. Enable developer option (Go to question no 11)
2. Go to Settings > Developer Option
3. Enable "Unlock OEM locking" (or something like that)
4. Press yes, if prompted.
5. Go to fastboot mode (adb reboot fastboot or adb reboot bootloader)
6. Go ahead to your PC, open up CMD (make sure adb and fastboot installed)
7. fastboot oem unlock, enter
8. Follow on screen instruction.
9. Done!
ANOTHER OPTION
Just flash THIS on TWRP.
11. How to enable developer option?
Well, it's pretty easy.
1. Go to Settings > About Device
2. Continously tap "Build Number" until it pops up "You're now a developer) That doesn't mean you're really a dev lol
3. And Developer Option is avaible above About Device menu!
12. How can i relock the bootloader?
Flash THIS on TWRP.

No, there is no news, Infinix are pretty lazy you know
Sorry I know this is the wrong session to post this but am having issues installing Xposed installer modules on my rooted Infinix Hot 2 6.0 January 2017 security patch...
I have installed the Xposed framework which is working perfectly fine but when I activate a module and reboots, my device is stuck at boot loop.
I have tried different modules still same problem I have to uninstall Xposed installer using flashable zip to get it to work...
Do you have a solution please
EDIT: Found the solution.. all i had to do was download the latest xposed installer v3.1.1 and download the latest framework v87 from the xposed installer app..... the v87 fixed the bootloop issue arising from the November to January Security patch of 6.0 android update

Its a superuser flashable zip rooting file for Redmi Note 4g only.

**To Root**
Please make a backup of your data before starting to root your device.
Recommended: Do not connect to any internet network such as wifi,gprs,3G/4G...
to avoid update searching issue till the process is over.
1)Download the above rooting .zip file from the above URL and save it into your internal/external SD Card(Recommend in your internal SD Card).
2) Now open Updater App of MIUI and open options.(3 dots in the right at the top)
3) Now choose the option "Choose Update Package". Now the file manager will get open.
4)Locate the .zip file that you downloaded in the file manager and click on it(For MIUI 8: After clicking on the file it gets selected and then click on ok).
5)Wait for the process to get over. Phone will restart and you will see the superuser app installed now.
6)Now open the app and a pop up will come to update su.Click on Ok and in that select Normal/CWM or TWRP as per the recovery you have installed on your device.
7) That's it now your device is successful rooted.
##Note: Its not a native root.
**To UNROOT**
1)Just Open The SuperSU App
2)Click on Settings. Then, click On Full Unroot option.
3)Then Click Continue, and the unrooting will begin.
4)After a reboot, your phone should be clean of the root.

If it's working for u then its well and good but if u like super su more then u can use the above method.

iT may cause your phone no reaction while connecting to The Pc if you use The latest supersu version on supersu official website. I prefer phh's superuser . I rooted my mido perfectly With it.
I tried the above method but I accidentally selected twrp method when su asked to update.
Now the phone stuck at MI boot loop screen I can only access to fast boot mode but can't enter recovery mode.
So any help ?
Is the file size 2.81 MB only?
Phone stuck/ Damaged
Im also having same problem.
After flashing Su, it asked for reboot. When i reboot, it is stuck in MI logo and not restarting. i observed this for more than 10 hrs. When i tried to start with recovery, again it is stuck is FASTBOOT screen and not progressing. My phone is not usable now. Please help

Can i update after rooting ?
I have successfully downgraded the phone and rooted it using KingRoot. TWRP was successfully installed too.
Can I download the OTA updates from OPPO website and still update my phone using the TWRP ?
Viper 4 Android is not working even though the phone is rooted.
Greenify hibernates the apps but they restart on their own after some time even though i have denied them the auto start permission.
Please help me in fixing these.
Thanks
