Usb otg support? - Blu Vivo XL

I wonder if blu vivo xl has usb otg support, I find conflicting informations on the Internet, though most sources say it does. I'm planning to buy a cable for this but it would be nice to know if I'll get any use of it.

Ok I got my otg cable and I can now confirm that it does work.

Nexus 7: USB OTG Cable Problem (Help)

Hi,
I bought an OTG cable for my nexus 7 last week and it was not being recognized by my Tab. I don’t know whether it’s a spoiled cable. I gonna to get my nexus 7 a new OTG cable. And I found 2 OTG cables that seem well. (OTG cable 1 and OTG cable 2). What do you guys think? It was a tough choice.
Does someone have another way to get it working before I order another new one.
Everything is appreciated
Thanks a lot.
IDK about those, but this one works perfectly for me...

OTG for the Vivid

Just thought I'd see if anyone has had success with OTG cables on the Vivid. If you got one and it is working, let us know what ROM you are on and if you had to use and app to mount it. A link to the source of the OTG cable would be appreciated as well.
Thanks!

OTG on the VIE-AL10

Hello,
i don't get usb sticks to work on my VIE-AL10. I also have seen members with working OTG, but only on VIE-L09. Can somebody confirm a working OTG on VIE-AL10 devices? And if yes, what Adapters are you using? Did it work instantly without customizing anything?
Thanks
Nobody tried this yet?
can't get otg for use a dac. tried 3 usbc-micro adaptaters and no one works. i don't want to buy a new usbc dac :/
I could not get any Type C - Micro USB connectors to work using my old TOG cable. I had to buy a new Type C OTG adaptor cable. It was the only way I found to get it working.
Can you show us what cable did you buy? Thank you

I am using this. It works with SD and Micro SF, also as Micro USB OTG . Quite versatile indeed.

Type-C (USB 3.1) and hdmi out

Hello everyone,
I'm thinking about this phone, but my first priority is to be able to connect it via cable with my Pioneer AppRadio (I know there is miracast, chromecast etc - been there, tried both, sound quality with compression is really low).
As this device has USB 3.1 - would any adapter work?
I can't seem to find exact answers if all usb 3.1 type-c devices support hdmi out (or some sort of mhl).
Thanks
I'm also interested in this. Did anyone check if MHL or Slimport is working on Z2 pro?
Hi,
After looking in this site http://www.gsmarena.com/lenovo_zuk_z2-8125.php, i can see that this is a usb 2 adapter with a type-c connector.
They also don't mention mhl/hdmi so this means that it is probably not supported.
I don't think there is any relation between usb and mhl or hdmi.
Hope this helps.
I did read somewhere it only supports wifi direct as display output but I can not find my source
It can work, because we can have it with USB 3.1, but we need drivers/settings inside a kernel and custom rom.
I have a usb 3.1 type C module who give me charge, usb 3.0 port and hdmi port, actually, only USB 3.0 port work.
The point is , it's getting harder and harder to find a good phone with 4/4+ GB RAM with video out support. No one really knows why they're moving away from this tech even if it's cheap and easy to implement. Some people say they're trying to promote wireless connectivity, others say having those powerful phones support video out will eventually prevent people from buying entry-level laptops. Anyhow, it's weird. If you know of any device with 4 or more GB of RAM (Sony's devices excluded) that support video out, please let us know!
HTC 10 and LG G5 both support HDMI out.

I forgot to exclude LG too. After G2, their flagships are a disappointment, one way or another.
Anyway, thanx for the info, I didn't know HTC 10 supports it.

ROM w/ OTG support

Hey all, I'll be upgrading to the 3T in the near future and NEED OTG support once I transition to that for my daily driver. So far I haven't been able to find any ROMs that seem to support it, so if anyone has any suggestions for ROMs to try out, please let me know! If I didn't hate the lack of customizability of OOS, I'd just root that and leave it, but it's just so... plain and lack-luster.
Which ROM are you using with working OTG?
They all support it, I don't know of any that don't

With which ROM have you successfully gotten OTG to work? It's not working on Resurrection Remix, I can say that from personal experience.

It works perfectly with my Chinese type C usb hub I bought for 6 dollars, also with a 3 dollar china USB C to A adapter that I'm using. Work both on stock and on Lineage OS. However I do have another micro USB hub that I tried using with a normal micro to C adapter but it didn't want to power up, it's like it didn't get enough power.
