Joying ODB And Dash (Dash.by) - MTCB Android Head Units General

I use Dash for my ODB monitoring but I am unable to get it to find my ODB BT device. I have my ODB connected (ODB shows connected under Bluetooth and ODB shows on the top right of my screen) and even Torque is reading it but I cannot seem to get Dash to read it. Has anyone here had success with that?

I have the same problem as you. Looking for a solution as well.

Ive let Dash know, they need to see some logs that can be reported in the app. Maybe if we both do it, it will help them out faster.

I will do the same.

My LG REVO will not connect to my 2009 Cadi, or my Xoom, always says paired but not connected. I think it is a software issue with the bluetooth 3 version. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,,
My Revo did the same thing dropped BT connection and fired up wifi randomly while connected so I returned it to VZN for replacement and it works fine now. Not sure if I removed something I should not have. I found out if you freeze the music app it will not play nice with BT.
I've had the Revo since day one but just finally broke down and bought a bluetooth headset. Only thing is, I can't turn the bluetooth on at all on the phone. Won't even allow me to hit the check box. What gives?
Also, just found out that when I go to Settings-Connectivity I get an immediate force close. Any suggestions?

Uses for 1 NFC tag

Hello,
I have 3 NFC tags, 1 I use near my front door to turn on and off WiFi and the other one on my bedside table to turn on alarm clock.
I have 1 more, and I can't find any uses for it.
I've been searching the internet for good ideas and I didn't find a useful one. Can you help me?

I put one on the satnav holder in my car. I attach the phone to it and it opens up car mode
i put the other just near the door and that starts the laptop up by sending a magic packet via wifi

Enable magic packet/wake on lan (WOL) on your computer
Find an app that can send these magic packets to your sleeping computer
Computer is awakened.
I think it works on ethernet LAN too...not sure on that, though.

My LG NFC tags won't work with AOSP. What app are you guys using.
I downloaded TagWriter and it says the tag isn't formatted, and erasing data didn't do anything.

use NFC smart Q to format the tag, then try writing to it

Bluetooth issues

Anyone else have issues with bluetooth and calls?
When I'm in my car, it cuts in and out and is almost completely useless as a phone. Don't remember it being like this when new.
Att is sending me another phone to see if it does the same thing.

Are you using a Bluetooth headset or one built into your car or one of those aftermarket car Bluetooths?
My Bluetooth headset has been working perfectly with it so far.

Skipping effect in the car for me. Also have a hard time getting my BT headset, a Plantronics Backbeat Go, to sound right. It's very "canny" sounding until I make a phone call (an old trick). Car connection is an HTC stereo clip.

both my car ('13 vw gof tdi, stock head unit) and my headset i use in the office (lg hbs 730) seem to work fine, not sure that helps though.
This happens for me if I have my Gear 2 watch paired with it and it's streaming music in my car. It'll cut out for a second and it's not a notification.

Afaik it wont be resolved with new phone as well. Its a bug in kitkat. Only way to fix this is turn wifi off when connected to bluetooth and driving.

Is it a bug with kitkat on TouchWiz? I had a nexus 5 before this and never had this issue. Will try turning off wifi and see if that does anything.

I have a nexus 4 previously and now a moto x and s5. Everyphone has this issue.. My problem is when i am on call and driving for some reason i can hear others voice but others cant hear mine. If i switch to ear piece and back to bluetooth it works just fine again for sometime. So i searched a lot and found that turning wifi off solves the issue. It works for me atleast

I'm not doubting your experience at all. Though, I will add that I always have wifi off in the car when connected to Bluetooth (profile scheduler turns out of four me), but I still get the music shipping problem.

If your music stutters then it might be a problem with memory. Trying freeing up memory with clean master. Also check what process are running in settings>applications and kill some apps which are not useful for you. Try it.. Hope it works out for you

Has anyone used a slimport adapter to mirror the display to tv? If so what adapter are you using?

You can search it for amazon. May help you.
Are you able to mirror your screen without root?
I just tested my slimport adapter and it's not working at all. It charges fine with it connected, but no screen. It works fine on my nexus 5. So... I don't know what to say.

I'd suggest going into AA and telling it to forget your car, aga. Then go into settings/apps and click on the Android Auto app. Clear cache, clear data, and force stop.

So, you've paired Bluetooth and plugged your N6 into the USB port on your 2016 Civic and AA doesn't see your car?
If yes, I'd suggest trying a friend's phone. And another cable. From what I've seen, it can take a couple of iterations to find a USB cable that works. I'm using the USB cable that came with my N6 and it's working fine.
This is not easy to trouble shoot, because you said AA was working fine (with your N6 and your Civic) with the developer preview, right?
