Things to be aware of
If Facebook picture sync is not working after contacts have synced, please clear the application cache and data, sign in again, and it will sync.
Please allow the phone some time to sync initially (calendar, picasa, bookmarks, etc.)
If market auto restore gets stuck, a reboot should fix it

It's stock with a few nice options added and together with Eugene latest kernel this ROM is running great!

First I would like to thank bigxie for this ROM, it's very fast and smooth with GLaDOS 2.6. I have however a problem with the BLN Control Pro app. It reports that "this liblights is not supported" (translated from Swedish). The BLN function does work but it looks like the control app doesn't work with something in the ROM.

I have however a problem with the BLN Control Pro app. It reports that "this liblights is not supported" (translated from Swedish). The BLN function does work but it looks like the control app doesn't work with something in the ROM.

Think I might try this ROM later on this week, missing not having a deodexed ROM so that I can have a battery percentage displayed in my status bar.

Read the installation of BlackCNA carefully. First disable PIN for simcard in settings before you flash the ROM !!! You must do this because after every reboot there is no software keyboard and you can´t unlock your phone !!! We are hard working on this problem...

Depends which rom are you from. If you're on Samsung based, Settings -> Security -> Set up SIM card lock.
Just flashed.....appart from keyboard not loading on boot.... this ROM is flawless and smooth.
Can't wait to play with it for 24 hours.

The ROM is called black CNA. It dictates black theme by definition. However, there is this option under settings/themes which you can use to play around with compatible themes you may find on the market that transforms the look and feel of the device. Note, compatible themes. Some themes are not even compiled by the themers to work on asop /aokp builds the same way they do on cm10 builds. The ROM has this theme feature for this purpose to change the way the device looks. But again, this is black CNA

Data in the sense of /sdcard contents will be intact and will remain even with full wipe, but coming from different ROM , full wipe is a must to get /system formatted. /system is where your old ROM system files are stored.
I did a clean install (system / data / cache format)
A couple of things I have noticed.
1. Small bug, to disable the nav bar, you have to go to power options and select the option to disable. Then you have to enable the option (even though it's already on the screen, hence enabled), from the long press power button, before you can disable it.
2. It is lightning fast and after 45 minutes seems bug free other than the one mentioned and the keyboard.
3. You weren't lying about the RAM leak, so far no issue at all, amazing stuff.
So all up a very nice release.

Are there any bugs?
Yes but minor.
1. Pressing the Home button when the screen is off won't take you back to the app you were using. It will go back to Launcher.
2. Sometimes when connecting via USB you won't see your phone on your PC.
Solution : Pull down the notification bar, tap on the "Connected as a Media Device" Notification and change it to Camera(PTP). If it happens again, change it back to MTP.
3. Pressing the Home button won't bring you back to the homescreen from App Drawer. Pressing the Home button on Homescreen won't bring you to default page.
Solution : Disable S-Voice activation by Double Tapping Home button, Press the menu key and disable the activation by double tap.

How to fix statusbar bug while on Apex/Nova Launcher - Credits to dante10
Nova Launcher
1.Disable wallpaper scrolling in Nova Settings > Desktop
2.On the desktop, tap and hold to apply new wallpaper
3.Select gallery and select the wallpaper you want to apply.
4.At the "Set Wallpaper" screen, tap the crop mode menu the square-ish icon. Select portrait and then select the portion of the image you want to set as wallpaper
Apex Launcher
1.Set wallpaper mode to Single screen(non-scrolling) in Apex Settings > Homescreen settings
2.On the desktop, tap and hold to apply new wallpaper
3.Select gallery and select the wallpaper you want to apply.
4.Crop the image however you want and press done.
If it doesn't work after the above steps, set wallpaper again from the Phone Settings menu.

I have a question bout deodexed vs odexed. I do understand the difference between those 2 and that you need deodexed for custom Roms, from what I see it is also supposed to be easier on the ram but slower on booting. What I really wonder and does someone know for sure, is there a speed difference with normal usage. I don't care if booting takes a bit longer but I do care bout the regular usage.

The difference isn't really noticeable to the naked eye. The difference is only a few nano/milliseconds of booting/executing. Ans: No, xposed is integrated with the rom... it completely come with stock mods with no xposed
Ques: So i can flash xposed installer ?
Ans: Obviously you can flash the xposed module external from my rom pack.. it works normal to rom
Ques: My music (walkman) was getting forcecloses How to fix it ?
Ans: Dont turn on "Use Edit Music Info 2.0" if you turned on got to settings and turn it off.. so everything will be normal.

It's black in new home.. Disable colored navbar from kryptonian settings as material theme wont work in new home. It will fix that.

Dude that blue magisk is the devil I cant uninstall it I cant get the regular magisk on there. I went into twrp and deleted but now root wont grant. Not like it would grant with the blue magisk so dont use blue magisk no matter how long you wait it doesnt pop grant root. I cant it to work .

Hope you all are fine and safe with your loved one's. I am from India holding a S7Egde SM-G935FD, I believe its the Exynos 8890 Duos so which version of WasEdition should I flash Duos or normal ? Since the stock Rom is based on Oreo I am looking to Flash a custom Rom with Pie UI 1 or Android 10 with UI. 2.0.
My query is if I flash any of the Custom roms available here for device to be used in India, will it support the Network 4G. And also all the features available in Android 9 / 10 i.e Integrated Call Recorded, Bluetooth, Wifi Connectivity & most importantly (for me ) the Samsung's inbuilt app SHealth's auto functioning. I may sound wired on these questions but please support me by addressing these points.
Again, which shall be the best rom on basis of the user experience with no bugs/less bugs. And before flashing 1) I will backup all data , 2) Install TWRP latest and follow the instructions as per the guide here. Will that be all of the process or will have to follow some more steps in order to function my device the way it is expected ?

Again, which shall be the best rom on basis of the user experience with no bugs/less bugs. And before flashing 1) I will backup all data , 2) Install TWRP latest and follow the instructions as per the guide here. Will that be all of the process or will have to follow some more steps in order to function my device the way it is expected ?

Do you like photography, for example?
Or stability?
Or the battery?
Or what exactly?
If you are interested in photography I do not advise you to ever update to PIE or ANDROID 10
Because the official Samsung Oreo camera is not matched by any other camera
This does not mean that the Android 9 and 10 camera is bad
No ... but it's not quite as good
If your preference is the battery, I also advise you to stay on the Oreo
I am in terms of design and aesthetics, so Android 9 is much better, of course
But be aware, Android 9 consumes more RAM
Pay close attention to that
I'm about any Android 9 ROM, they are all almost the same
If you want raw Rome without modifications, try BLACK DIAMOND
And if you like the adjustments in the system
Try WASROM

wow huge of features...i loved it but why my notification pannel is laging during pull down.......and rom is also working slow ????

First of all. I thank you for your so detailed and prompt reply. My Friend I am a Legal professional in my Country having said so, I am definitely not interested in Photos. All I was looking for was a Stable Rom which extends all the features of Andriod 9 as the present s7edge was earlier being used by my family member and now its with me. Prior to landing on to this S7E, I was on J6 Infinity which gave me the ease of Shealth app showing entire's day step count on the notification itself (By default) , there was no need to no the Bluetooth all the time as it use to be on but did'nt show it on the taskbar, last but not the least the Battery power was excellent, Integrated Call recording of course.
In view of my above submissions , and notwithstanding those if your advise / suggestion is to stick on with the present Oreo , I would certainly like to honor it., the reason being I love this S7E very much and do not even want to risk it bricking down any moment.
