Hi all, I have karbonn cosmic st10, home button was not working earlier and now its not turning on at all
I need your help in removing battery
Please help so that I can drain flea power and then take care of the home button issue.
Karbonn service center people are just useless and denied to help, even when it was under warranty

last few days i fixed my galaxy s screen in samsung-iraq .. the screen is good
but they skrew up the menu button once i return to them they said we cant fix it
so
what should i do ?
is there another way to use this broken button ?
like change the function of another button like Home button ?
some one told me about something called s3c-keypad.kl
but i dont know what it is

i solved this problem by using button remaper.apk
I was on GingerMia v1 with Sharp Modded fix1 framework.. i observed Power Button was giving me pop ups regardless of me pressing for it... i realized that i could not put my cell in sleep status...

i thought the problem is with only my custom rom so i flashed India official update for CSL Spice mi410.. The problem prevailed; i took all the backup and went to the service centre... Luckily just 1 day before else i would have been out of warranty :laugh: :silly:

hi all, ineed some help, this the situasion, i played game, after my battery dry, i put my axioo (aka u9000,spice m410) in to charger, after 2 our, i want to turning on my phone, but it cannot show anything, and i tyr to go to download mode (volume up + power),but it same cannot ahow anything, and try to go to recovery mode (volume up,down +power), but still same dont show anythink, any solution for my problem please

I gave it to service center and they provided me with a new Phone....(after 1 month of waiting)

Same thing happened to me and mine was out of warranty . Then I take my phone to repair centre and they changed the power IC and now it is completely fine.

Hello everyone!have been using my rooted xperia zr with stock ROM for a while now.Thing is the screen on the xperia zr seems to be malfunctioning only near the point of multitasking soft key.It keeps on activating on its own and keeps switching to the view where all the running apps are shown interfering with my work on the phone.This sometimes happens like 20-30 times in a min.Is there any alternative to screen replacement since i am stuck in a remote place for a few months and have no direct access to repair stores.Can i remove/disable the multitasking soft key ? And by remove i mean curb the function of that soft key?or hide it permanently until i can get it repaired? Please help me out anyone because i cant use my phone now because of this issue.

Install Xposed, and then GravityBox. You can set the recent key to do nothing, and long press one of the other keys to go to recents.
Hello, my power button is damaged, it 'sets' it's condition to always clicked, so I always face restarts & many unwanted screen of & on.
I tried using xposed additions, but it doesn't work anymore after Kitkat
Does anyone know to COMPLETELY DISABLE my power button functionality?
I will use other screen waker apps available on Playstore, so i will not need my power button anymore

You will always need your power button, and it is even required in extreme cases!
I'd suggest replacing the power button by disassembling your device, and replace the part with a new one
