Checking if bootloader is locked - Xiaomi Mi 5 Questions & Answers

I was checking if the bootloader of my phone was locked using fast boot OEM device info and I got this:
Device unlocked FALSE
Device critical unlocked TRUE
What does it means? Does my bootloader is locked?

I have the same, and reading about critical unlocked made me think it was superior level of unlocking - however, attempting to flash recovery failed.

Thanks, so I will have to wait for the permission from xiaomi to get bootloader opened.

Yeah, the device locked: true or false is the bootloader lock/unlock status

This have nothing to do with Unlocking Bootloader. Unlock Butloader now and you will be fine, with 4.3 the camera was fixed.
but on the info about bootloader unlocking it says not to proceed if bootloader unlock is no in service menu i dont wish to end with a brick

Have you tried unlocking? When this has happened on Xperia T's the devices were still able to be unlocked even though that had changed. There is absolutely no risk in trying to unlock an unlockable bootloader, it will just fail in the process and will still boot no problem.
It has never been reported a NO had turned to YES, but some Yes had been turned to NO, and they were still bale to be unlocked.
And before anyone gets excited this is by no means something that can be used to unlocked bootloaders that are really locked, it is just a false reading of the boot status.

Ok, so it's risky. Is not a big problem even if you don't unlock the bootloader but are you sure was saying yes before? this is wired.
You can flash updates and custom roms anyway. Not custom kernels. Sorry.
ok i am going to try to bootloader unlock it and report back
remote command not allowed i am stuck with a phone that i cannot bootloader unlock hope there will be an s-off solution for xperia

Are you 100% sure it actually unlocked? That error usually occurs when the bootloader is locked.
You can check by using the service menu in a stock rom.
Enter *#*#7378423#*#* in the dialler then look in Service info -> Configuration. It will say "Bootloader unlocked: Yes" if it's unlocked. If it says "Bootloader unlock allowed: Yes", then it's still locked.

Yes unlocked. Didn't you remember unlocking your bootloader ?
If you don't then someone else did it. Means your phone's been used by someone else before.

Try the steps listed here: https://www.theandroidsoul.com/relock-bootloader-fastboot-android/
NOTE: You may lose all data. It also may be disabled once you have unlocked. You may not be able to get your warranty back.
Error
I have used your fastboot adb trick for relock my device but unfortunately it shows

That is unfortunately about what I expected. When you unlock your bootloader, you void your warranty. That is why I wrote "It also may be disabled once you have unlocked. You may not be able to get your warranty back."
I'm ussing XT1771 and still can't relock the boot loader i tried a lot of things gamn xD
