T-mobile G1 problem

I just bought a HTC G1 from an ebay user from USA.(I'm from Romania)
I did a hard reset on the phone and now when I put a sim I need to enter the unlock code and can`t turn wireless on if I chose not to enter the unlock code.
Are there any option on how to unlock the phone without the code, or to get past the 'fresh start' screen?
Two things you can do:
1st, contact the user back that sold you the G1. Ask them to obtain the unlock code from T-Mobile (USA) to send to you.
2nd, you can obtain the unlock code yourself by purchasing the unlock code from one of the site.
There are no option to unlock the phone without the unlock code. (as far as I know)
And what about the activation screen? how can i get past it?
Once you get the unlock code and put it in. You can activate your google account with your data plan. You might have to setup your APN setting thou.
Another thing you might or have to do is downgrade and root your phone. Then flash the custom ROM of your choice.
Done unlocking & activating, now it keeps restarting, what can I do? Also the battery lasts 1 day max
// also the screen remains black when I try to unlock (sometimes)

First you want to find out if you are still on stock or you have a custom ROM on your G1.
If you have stock, then you have to root your G1 first.
If you phone has a custom ROM then you G1 has already been rooted. You can load other ROM that you want.
I tried to update to 1.6 but it says error line 1 etc. all the time.
Please help
I`m on stock & when I try to root it says to force close app
Also, i`m running android 1.5 & marketplace is beta & I can`t see all the stuff
Ohh! Boy here we go. You'll need to downgrade to RC29 (since your G1 is from US). Don't worry about the unlock. Once unlocked it stay unlock.
First you want to get ADB setup on your PC and have it setup with your G1.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=532719
Once you have that going then you can start with the downgrading to RC29. After you have downgraded, you will have to go through the activation screen again.
Once the activation screen is done, then you can do the rooting process.
http://theunlockr.com/2010/04/26/how-to-root-the-htc-g1dream/
After you have rooted, then you can flash the custom ROM.
Done, the phone is rooted but now I have some other issues with it.
First, my earpiece dosen`t work
Second, my screen sometimes dosen`t come 'back to life' when I try to unlock it

Can anyone help me?

I need help to bypass the password login (Huawai P9 EVA-L09)

Hey guys,
last weekend my Huawai P9 battery got empty over the night and on the next morning after charging i noticed that the phone ask me for a password. Before i just used my finger sensor to get back into it but as you know after a complete restart it ask for the set password.
The problem is that i do not remember it in any way and right now i am @ 1 hour waiting time between the attempts.
I really don't want to delete and reset the phone and loose all my data. So i hope someone can help me to solve that problem to get back access to my phone without loosing all data.
Phone data:
Name: Huawai P9
Model: EVA-L09
Latest official available Android update installed.
No Root, No Modification
What i have tried so far:
1. Google Android Manager
I logged into my google account and tried to reset the password but google tells me it cant replace the password because its already active. So looks like that reset way only works for pin and gesture phones but not for ones that already have an active password.
2. dr.Phone
I have downloaded dr.phone toolkit for android and tried the unlock locked screen option but it tells me that the phone is not supported.
3. ADB / Fastboot
I installed ADB and fastboot on my system and tried to connect the phone to delete the password.key file. ADB is running on my windows but it does not get any connection to the phone because the phone has no developer option enabled and i am not able to enable it because it cant access it.
Fastboot does detect my phone but yea i cant delete a file with it right?
Greetings,
Chris

-I could only imagine that you are able to unlock your bootloader with DC Phoenix (normal bootloader unlock would cause data loss and u would need DC Phoenix for the oem lock)
-Maybe u are able to flash TWRP recovery with DC Phoenix and backup your files from there but i dont know if TWRP works without an unlocked bootloader.
-All in all DC Phoenix is a risky tool.

Stop stop stop.....
Is your phone under warranty? If it is, dont touch the bootloader or flash anything. Send it back to Huawei to fix it.
If its no longer under warranty, is it requesting a password to unlock your phone or is it the password for decrypt storage? And last question, do you use the finger print scanner to unlock your phone?
only solution with bootloader locked is the wipe data/factory reset inside erecovery

Couldn't verify. Wait a minute or two

Hi, im not a really new user of santoni. But i have being frustated because that i cant unlock my device bootloader since last year. The main problem seems i cant bound/add my device into settings-development-mi unlock status, it always say COULDNT VERIFY. WAIT A MINUTE OR TWO. So when i insist to unlock it via mi unlock tools, it always fails at 99% and say CURRENT ACCOUNT NOT BOUND... i have my unlock permission since january. And i think, for now, unlock permission didnt required anymore
I have tried to enable find device, remove account, reset, recovery flash update. accessing i.mi.com
i have searching all around websites
but no luck.
Im using stable latest ROM 9.5.10.0 NAMMIFD nougat 7.1.2
Really, i want to migrate into dev version. Or even a custom ROM such as LOS or else.
miflash tools are useless because my device still locked. I cant do more.
Really, i need help from this forum to figure it out. Maybe there are people that having problem same as me. :crying:
PS : My fingerprint doesnt work too. it said couldnt add fingerprint, and sometimes a small pop up shown said : FIND DEVICE STORAGE CORRUPTED. YOUR DEVICE UNSAFE NOW. i think its because at the first time i having this, im bypassing micloud. ( I buy this phone secondhand. And previous owner seems forgot to sign out and reset this device. so i try to bypass micloud screen ) since that, the issues and popup come. IPlease help me

[SOLVED] OEM unlocking grayed out

Hello there ,
Originally:"
So let me begin where all this started , I was a content Nokia user , until someday when Pie came out , and the problems just started pouring , I started to get WiFi issues , where it would just simply disconnect and not even connect sometimes , it was intolerable , and then it started to happen with mobile data , so I wanted to downgrade to Oreo and perhaps install magisk , BUT OEM unlocking (in developers options) is grayed out , cant use it to downgrade and thus cant use it to unlock my bootloader. Help is much appreciated.
Thanks in advance
And sorry any misunderstanding"
How I managed to fix it , was really dump , to cut it short , I set the date one month back , then went to developers options , hitting the toggle of the developers options (which is blue) so I turn them off , then turn them on again , when I turn them on I notice that I have a 0.25s window that I can hit the toggle of OEM unlocking , and so I did it , then it asked me for my passcode , and went on and downgraded to Oreo , now I'm typing from my phone running Oreo , waiting for the boot unlock key .
Hope you got something of that , I really would like to give back to the community ?
Ps: OEM unlocking is no longer grayed out in Oreo
Ps: even if you hit the toggle in pie it will still be grayed , bit after the passcode and everything , I was able to downgrade easily.
Omg it works... Thankss

Let's read this topic: https://forum.xda-developers.com/nokia-8/how-to/unofficial-official-nokia-8-bootloader-t3898418
You can do it.
Are you sure? I successfully downgraded, but the official had bootloader unlock APK doesn't work for me,
I installed the apk, entered mail I'd,then apk just loading and keeps loading, and after that the error showed like.... "network error"
Can anyone plz tell me how to solve this issue in Nokia 5.1 plus?

Unlock bootloader mi8

Im certain this has been asked a few times but I cant unlock mi bootleader on mi8 to install xiaomi eu rom
I used this to get started
don't know if is good or not since no more dislike counter but seems ok. My issue is at when I need to log in to link my device to my account although im certain I already did it.
If i skip this last step and connect the phone to the pc with usb debuging adb tools sees it but if I reboot to fastboot and reconnect to pc mi unlock does't detect it.
Any tips what to do?
ok then after about 4 hours of trying everything I decided to factory reset and do it like that. When I started it disabled find device and just though lets try it now.
It worked, I linked the device to my account
