Have the Blue N6 but want the White. What's my options

Got this beautiful N6 32GB on Fri and thought I would like the blue but want the White. Got from Google and they don't exchange. Never any stock anywhere...
I am willing to take a loss if I sold it but can gabble on the 14 days I have to return it in hopes of getting a new order but I just got the one now being at Xmas blurred on what to do...
Would you wait it out or send back now? Again, a capital loss would not kill me but not sure if swappa places like this these phones sell or I will be stuck with two
Just looking for some thoughts what you would do?
Get a white skin from dbrand. That's the easiest solution.
Order a white back from eBay. Change it yourself. YouTube I fixit. Fairly simple.
Both are correct what I like about the white model is the polished or chrome edge over the blue...

G2 Buying a New Battery

The G2 is over 2 years old now and still kicking for a lot of us, but the battery life has gotten pretty poor. I think a lot of us would be interested in buying a new OEM battery (seems like it is the same for all models) but there's a lot of fakes out there.
If you know where to buy an OEM battery for a reasonable price please post here, maybe with price+shipping.

Mine almost 1.5 years-old with custom rom, battery is still enough for 1 day, sometimes even more. No big change comparing to what I got at the beginning, so I guess battery is still fine.

My apologies guys.
Kept saying I got my battery from Etradesupply however I checked my Amazon history and saw it's epartsolutions
Here's the link to the Ad
Please note the reviews are 50/50. Some good some bad. I got a good one from them that was new and shipped very fast.
I'd email them and confirm you're getting a new one that's been tested before you purchase. That way you won't have problems
hey everyone i can't manage to remove all the screws to change the battery, any tips?
(i bought a wole kit with the good screwdriver and all)
What do you guys think of this one? Makes me feel a little bit happier knowing it's a german seller, althouth it might be very possible that it says made in China!

Hey guys. I think I understand what's going on with these batteries.
It's hard to distinguish between true oem vs cheap aftermarket.

Be careful when buying phones from China. Onnce I had purchased a lenovo phone from aliexpress and hate it. There was tons of bloatware, Chinese fonts all over, Google apps are missing and I couldn't update the phone. I ended it up selling it for much lower price. Lesson learned

My P9 from a shop on aliexpress just came yesterday... and oh yes, it is pretty awesome! Going to use it a couple days and plan on doing a extensive comparison review to my LG G5 in my series of review called "Some Guy's Review..." I did one comparing LG G5 to the S7 Edge and people seemed to appreciate it... I have no brand loyalty so it a pretty honest review IMO
I try to sum up the general user / pro-user experience... what most people run into and care about.... plus stuff I always look for that are my "musts" for things I do in my daily life...
Not getting deeply into it, here's a quick 12-hour impression:
1. Design - It's a pretty phone, I got mine in Gold because the 64GB / 4GB only comes in Gold in China (EVA-AL10 Version is Chinese Version of EVA-L29 International Dual SIM). Let's say a Sony Xperia Z5 and an Iphone had a wild sexual encounter.... the result is a Huawei P9 (Basically an all metal Z5)
2. Snappiness - This phone rocks... didn't slow down even during setup... have yet to notice it heat up either! Have to put it through my grueling non-scientific testing of playing Clash Royale... hahaha. Really though, I won't do a AnTuTu or anything like that because those tests are pretty much meaningless to real world experience usage. Hope to have more later
3. Camera - have yet to take a "real" picture with it... tried it out, seems to have a lot of custom settings and a really good "pro" mode. more to come
4. Battery - seems spot on to all recent Huawei Phones, big, long lasting (that's what she said.... )
5. EMUI - I am actually a fan of EMUI... especially with another launcher laid over (I use a HTC Sense Launcher Port). The amount of customization may annoy the regular user... but coming from having a Huawei Mate 8, I understand what you need to do to get everything working like you like. I will give more details later if it suffers from the "sleeping sickness" as I call it... this is where due to all the great battery customizations Huawei throws in, certain app notifications stop working after awhile because the app goes into hibernation and never comes out... time will only tell.
Look for a review probably Monday or Tuesday! I may even do a 3-way just for fun....!!! (3-way review... get your mind out of the gutter... hahaha)

Mind you its in the hard case that has little "beady" texture on the inside... here's 2 pics... it definitely looks high end and not cheap, feels substantial in hand and solidly built

Personally I wanted the darker gray version... and originally was going to get a P9 Plus... but when it was going to take about a 1/2 of month until it releases... I had them switch it to a regular P9.... of course, now I have to try to get a refund for the difference which they agreed to... but will be interesting to see if they give it.... :good:
Some phone sites had the white one to review... which is white ceramic and not metal... and many said that it "felt" cheap...
There is no way one could think this phone is cheap... like I said, it's like the design (rectangle) of a Z5, but thinner and made of metal..
Nice. I had the Z2 a few years back and like the 'slab' design and square feel.
Did you have to install google contact and calendar sync from the Huawei store or did all that stuff work out of the box?

they had it installed but call me crazy that I like to factory reset and put it on myself... especially a phone, from CHINA, that I may put my credit card and passwords into... just sayin'..
It's pretty easy... use HiAPP to search google... install store, then install everything else from the store... calendar sync worked immediately... had to install contact sync apk from apkmirror... then I installed the google dialer... its not all that difficult. I can confirm no NFC, at least not anywhere I have found it... doesn't really matter since Android Pay won't work anyway....

Can you verify if have quick charging?
can you change themes in EMUI just like Sony xperia phones?
how is the loudspeaker?
thanks again can't wait for the full review

Right side for me. Still, just because it's faded doesn't mean it's over. I wanted to unlock the bootloader, but I can't go voiding the warrantee when I may end up needing it.
I'll probably return it and wait for the US release of the G 5G equivalent.
If all it needed was a break-in, that should've been done at the factory.

I am in the same situation. I see the green tint, but it isn't as bad as when I first turned it on.
I posted a new thread over in the Q&A with a poll about it. The moto support forums are starting to buzz with folks complaining, and the best buy reviews are starting to roll in with photos. Moto may have a slightly big problem on their hand.
Mine did the same after just 1 week, i send it to the service and they said they ordered the hardware for replacement, couldnt return the phone and get my money back
UK model (single sim) MOTP-EDGBLK - same issue.
Only apparent when the brightness is below 50%.
I received #4 replacement
This time I noticed some changes in hardware
The screen looks OK for 18 days
Nothing funny so far
I returned mine back to Amazon and bought another - after 3 days, same issue.
Gave up, got a refund and bought a Pixel 5.
Such a shame, I really liked the Moto Edge design, size and battery life. Unfortunately it seems that Motorola can't make phones, had a screen related issue on my Moto X Force a few years back too, seems like Motorola have not improved at all.

I assume it's difficult to have good yields due to the waterfall design. There could be a relatively high failure for this type of design.
It's funny how my 2nd Edge is exhibiting the same green tint. I was so sure I could put this behind me.

The waterfall design isn't new though. Other OEMs have made similar style displays (Samsung, OPPO etc) and none then have such a high failure rate like this.

Whatever the source is, Moto is clearly struggling to obtain good panels. Reviews say the screen is great but they fail so easily. It's beyond strange.

Green tint seems to come before purple streaks and double images, no? Look at reviews on best buy, green tint is the least of your worries.
Also you could use swift installer to make certain apps black. I only noticed the green tint cause I happened to have another phone next to the edge.
3 days in from bestbuy retail stock, box has a 20 october 2020 date on it. No screen issues. Of course, when I have the light theme enabled there are often situations where I can see a slight greenish/grey hue to the edge as it begins to curve. That's just optics and not at all as some of the pics I have seen. Sweet ride so far.
As of December 8th, no more purple blotches, which has shadows of the notification bar, and cutout. Hasn't happened in about 2 weeks. I did notice, with the latest build(October), that the battery drains a touch faster. Still don't know if it's curing of screen materials, or update.
Screen is still perfect after full 8 weeks

Question Red tint at bottom half?

I just bought 11T Pro in India this week, I notice a red tint in bottom half of screen when the background is dark grey or greenish colors, I tried changing display color settings but I can still see it.
I didnt notice it for first few days since I was mostly using apps with amoled black theme, I can see the tint when using google and youtube. Is it a common issue? I can still get replacement, but want to know if it exists in all 11T Pro
Also I didnt use reading mode, tried color schemes, did not use adaptive colours. Cant see lcd manufacturer in CIT or device info app
Try getting your device RMA'd if it's still under warranty, haven't seen a red tint on my device. Using a Global 11T Pro (Philippines) Tried using grey background, and a dark green background.

Yeah it was getting worse everyday or because I was constantly getting distracted by it, Amazon scheduled a technician visit for verifying via some third party agency here, shady ppl didnt show up and said they fixed it.
