Hello
I have got my new RAZR i and I like it very much. But one thing is a little bit frustrating. I've got some apk files which I would like to install,but they don't because of the Intel processor , I think . So my question is, is it possible to transform those files to some, which will be installable on this phone.

Do you get any error message? Normaly they should install fine, as long as the apk is compatible with Android 4.0 x86 (which are most existing).
How do you try to install it?
Have you enabled the option to install apk's from foreign sources?
EDIT: Found the problem. You can't download the apk-files to your phone directly from the net. Instead I sent it via USB from my computer to the phone an it works. Thanks anyway!

Yes, it is the following:
There is a problem parsing the package.
(I only translated it from the original german: "Fehler beim Parsen des Paketes")

I tried to open it, that didn't work. Then I downloaded the app "AppInstaller" and tried it with that, and there came the above mentioned error message.

Wich apps are you tryng to install? Are they in their last versions?
What apk's? Are this usual Apps or maybe an modified like an themed Keyboard or an inverted Play Store?
If it's an modified apk you usual have to put them into the System/App Folder by using an Root Explorer and set the permissions right.

If you download an apk to your Phone and get an. zip, just rename the File to. apk.

just received sense 6.0 update, but i root and ruu the third recovery and root, delect some system document, now i carry out this update, it prompt lose ****.apk, i don't know how many apk document in this preload folder, who can help to provide this apk list of 802d? thanks a lot!

Hi, I've got the same problem - I accidentally deleted by bluetooth because I'm an idiot - and I downloaded this apk from the link (which I'm not allowed to quote, but it looks right, since it's com.android.bluetooth that's not responding), but it won't install. I've tried installing it and it doesn't give me any details, all it says is "App not installed".
Any advice, anyone? Thanks

Dont install it. Just copy it to system/app(From where you deleted it) and then restart the phone.

Extract it and copy/move all the extracted file to your sdcard folder named DLOAD
Press 3 buttons(vol +, vol -, power) don't let go until the device restart and proceed to the updater. DO NOT LET GO PRESSING until it appears okay?

Sorry for bothering with a silly question but I'm still trying to figure this phone out....I don't seem to have a DLOAD folder on my external sd, will it work if I just create one?

That's what you really need to do btw. Create a folder "dload" without " " then ur good to go

Silly me lol. In the end I simply flashed the thing in recovery and it worked like a charm, then proceeded to reflash recovery via adb, rerooted and all is good now.
yes,that's what I did too , no problem, seem works better with more free Ram.

S note creates a folder called s note data or something like that... you would have to copy those files to your cloud.

Which app are you referring too? The older S Note or Samsung Notes that comes on the Note 8? I know you stated S Note but if you canxt see the folder..... With S Note the folder is in internal storage & you can easily view it. With Samsung Notes, you need root to access the save folder.

Yeah, with Samsung Notes the files are stored in the data partition. Earlier I said you need root access but if you are not rooted, come to think of it some file explorers will allow you to view & possibly copy the files, I'm not sure. Just can't make any changes without root.
This is the location:
/data/data/com.samsung.android.app.notes/files/document

Try installing a 3rd party file explorer & see if you can view & copy the location I posted.

So far ES explorer shows me the /data folder exists, but won't show me anything else.... I shall keep hunting
