Only new thing i see for now is that there is a Huawei ID option in Settings.
Power consumption is now added and different like the old days[emoji6]

What exactly has been added?

I'm on gratitude v2 but I want go back to this stock, I just have to flash stock(B370) recovery and do force update? Or is there something more I have to do? I just won't stuck in bootloops.

they haven't resolve the bug with camera app. When you record a video and the sound source is from left you hear it in right side and when it's right you hear it in left side

Ota update comes to me today. The BIG problem with reversed audio channels for video recording was not resolved...

Important question: does it NOT FORCE WIPE the system on update or it does ? Last time I asked nobody said something definite and I had a very ugly surprise

As the title says, its no wipe. At least for me it was.

@razvann974 After update, did you keep all info in app?
Or delete all data in app?
I have last tim problem, because i have a lot of app with secure token activation

I keeped all info and no problem until now with any app. But if you wnt to be shure, after update do a factory reset...

Does this update fix the bug where apps moved to SD get moved back to internal storage on update?

Another mirror on mega if you want https://mega.nz/#F!x1932SbJ!XBWY3rD6q-C8NEwxkGI8Mg

I've installed this as per the excellent instructions.
Here's another datapoint:
My phone previously had the b321a firmware.
I just let the update install itself.
My phone is working exactly as before.
I've not done a hard reset.
I've not wiped anything.
All my online accounts are still connecting without reauthorization

Any ideas when it will reach OTA?
Our P8 GRA-L09 still sits on B200 from the moment it was bought (feb 2016) and haven't received a single update.

Try to upgrade with the Hicare app
Verstuurd vanaf mijn HUAWEI GRA-L09 met Tapatalk

I used it on my Gra-ul00 and it works perfectly

It was also fixed that bug that artwork was not working in the lockscreen for every app

It's our turn to have a taste of EMUI 3.0! Huawei DE made a site where you can become an EMUI 3.0 beta tester. But there's a trap because you need to wait more than few days to receive the update. I made this thread for the people who can't wait. Continue reading to learn how to install EMUI 3.0.

I solved. B133SP01 install and maintain Root with RootGenius and last upgrade to 3.0 Emiu in Local.
When you restart the root remains active.
I guess it still the beta version, right?
1. Downgrade from B136 to B133SP01

The same thing happened to me when I tried to install 3.0 from B133 and the problem is when you use 3 buttons or Hisuite (Do not update with these methods), what you have to do is to put the update.zip (3.0 emui version) in the sdcard (remember place it in the carpet /doad/ you must create it), and then you must use the cellphone in the menu update/ choose local update and allow the device reboot itself and start updating properly emui 3.0.
I recommend you go back to emui 2.3 B133 first and do these things before doing any change.
Huawei Ascend P7 L-10 EMUI 3.0 Beta
I've installed the beta version on my P7-L10. The interface looks cool, awesome. But it doesn't have many features in the 2.3 official version. For example, dlna, screen sharing on other smart devices, backup, hide folders and files, Select app to play Gallery files. (images & videos) Also, the battery consumption is high compared to the previous EMUI. When can we expect the official update with all bugs fixed?

Flash it with stock recovery, TWRP or CWM are used for updating Custom Roms only and TWRP only works in 2.3 roms, not in 3.0 roms. All the information you need to ugrade can be found in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/ascend-p7/general/ascend-p7-b602-emui-3-0-international-t2971697 :good:
Hello all. today i started to search about EMUI 3.0 and found this forum. and now i have question about that file with can be downloaded in official Huawei site? in EMUI section.

That files that you mention is the KERNEL for the P-7, it is not any FACTORY ROM, so I do not recommend you downloading it unless you are a Developer who wants to design your own Rom.

P7 839 beta

Yestrday I got this mail:
Best P7 user:
A software update is available for your P7, from version to version B839 B830. This software update has not been officially released.
To ensure the quality of the software we want to collect as much practical experience.
We propose this software available as an Over The Air (OTA) update to a limited group of users.
Because you've previously User Field Tests conducted on the P7, we are very interested in your feedback degree.
This allows us to make adjustments for improved performance and ease of use.
Watch out. This update only works if you have now installed on your B830 P7. Do you then you can not install this update B839 another version.
In case of any problems is a Rollback software available that allows you to return to a stable version.
The Field User Test period lasts up to one week
Issues that are fixed with this software:
• Problems playing videos in Youtube
• No sound notifications or no sound when playing videos.
• Chrome browser or facebook crashes
• Problems with the navigation
• Problems with the camera
• Problems with the alarm clock app
It is recommended to perform the update using a WiFi connection.
Watch out! Wanneerje perform the update with a mobile data connection or a roaming network, this may incur additional data charges may apply.
This software update will not affect your personal data on your phone. These are not erased.
We'd love to hear if you participate in this Field User Test.
When I get some time I will go back to 830 to download this beta. If someone do it before great!
Any way as it beta and just one week, "soon" we can expect official version
Would be great if you can copy and provide the OTA update.zip before doing the update!
Thanks!
Edit:

Just download it and place the update.zip in a folder called 'dload' on your sd-card. After that you can install the update by starting 'local update in the menu of the 'Updater' app.
Anybody encountered charging issue with this version? I already flashed the firmware twice. Still slow charging problem exists.

Full UPDATE

Hello,
Shouldnt a FULL UPDATE install "all" necessary like partitions for the system etc, i mean everything?
Why am i asking this?
Because recently i debranded my P9+ and now i have 3 problems:
1. Icons look like Huawei P8 series
(@Emui 3.x)

}
2. Some features are not function as before, like - Themes (can download but can't apply)
3. Factory reset now always goes as "lowlevel reset"
As my understanding this might be because when failed on debranding phone woke up asking decryption storage password (and shouldn't) then he did a wired wipe out before restart again and then started with the problems i said on top
I also know it affected system folders in any way because, for example, at locked screen when I press settings there are none "subscriptions" to choose.

Just i said i had the same problem when i debrand my L29C636 and that fix it for me.
flash all zip file with twrp , then reboot and force flash update.app with 3 button method, now everything is stock
I had the same problems when I flashed a 'full' ROM as well (B190, for reference). Had the same ugly icons you mentioned, and I had lost MagazineUnlock plus all stock themes.
In the end I found the themes, and it seems to have fixed both the icons and unlock.
Main issue now, is that each time it does a factory reset (when unlocking boatloader for instance), it fails and prompts me to run it again, which it then completes successfully. Not sure what I messed up on there, but it's just a minor annoyance whenever I have to flash an update now.

Why no one try to send a complaint to huawei about reversed camera audio channels when recording a video with default camera app? I send two time complaint about this problem and i received a weird answer that the problem wasnt attended because there is a single complaint about the problem ( probably me) and again probably there is a problem from my phone. But i already tested on other P8 phone and there is the same problem. The problem is not from the kernel, but from the camera app, because with third party camera apps from google play , audio channels are correct positioned.

Thanks guys. I unSUed (https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63615067) my B390 firmware SuperSU, installed the B398 firmware as Kris van Kooten wrote above, installed TWRP, installed magisk, rebooted, installed magisk manager so I enjoy the new, rooted firmware now.
It came to my mind that maybe someone will need all the mentioned files needed for flashing and rooting. I repacked the B398 firmware and compressed it with 7-zip. I also compressed TWRP 3.1.10, Magisk 12.0, Magisk Manager 4.33, unSU script, and Huawei HiSuite 5.01 (ought to update to 5.02).
The links should be valid for several weeks and the servers are pretty fast. The MD5 files are B02D09611EAD06BE4C2F4DCDF152C412 (the firmware) and C51A563467D37E106CE211F909A6D8B4 (the tools).

If you view the Changelog, it's a network-branded update most likely - MyWind & WindTalk are apps developed by Wind Telecomunicazioni, an Italian network company.

Same on Huawei P10 Lite WAS-LX1 .
The app checks the Huawei server. If Huawei hasn't released the update for your device in your country the app denies and you can't update with official methods.
I don't know why Huawei has this crappy update policies, some users are still on B123.
But if i download these 4 files and update manually? It will changes recovery and no warranty anymore then? And no ota updates after that?

No it just fails to install , invalid , it still has to get auth from huawei servers , just like my P10 lite WAS-LX1A im on B105 lol
But if i see new firmware in app... Would it come to online soon?
Sent from my VTR-L29 using XDA-Developers Legacy app
No idea best ask huawei that one im still waiting on a reply about why they added these security checks (something to do with EMUI5.1) even dload folder force install does not work
The update will fail because the huawei servers will deny the update for your device.
If you want to update to this firmware you need either a DNS service like FunkyHuawei (the firmware finder app has also A DNS mode, but it doesn't work good) or you can use HWOTA.
I will make a tutorial for HWOTA soon, if the developer will allow this.
Hwota method i find too yes. But it will change my phone recowery to twrp right? And this end my phone warranty right?

Hwota will flash the the update and lock the bootloader so everything will be stock again and you can receive ota afterwards.

The update will fail because the huawei servers will deny the update for your device.

Hello, I tried the app this afternoon and pushed the update through DNS using a DNS changer app on my VTR-L09C654B195. The phone detected the update and downloaded all the way through reboot installation but it failed on 5%. Since then, my phone always runs into "Your device has failed verification and may not work properly" upon reboot. I tried wiping cache, restoring factory settings, erecovery (always fails), hisuite restore to no avail. I can still boot into and use the phone normally but the failed verification is bothersome.
I never rooted or did anything out of the ordinary except for unlock oem through developer options and the DNS change.
Could someone help me resolve this? I will compensate
