Yes it is working fine (except from yesterday as their server crashed. Maybe it is fixed). Make sure you turn on GPS location and turn off mock locations from developer settings
Once it gets your location, it will show a map
Happy Journey

Yeah I too face this sometimes, maybe due to slow net. When pokeball freezes, wait for the white spinning animation in the upper left to disappear. After that reopen the game, if the Pokémon is caught, it will be in your collection else it will reapper on map (just wait there)

Google maps really stuttery after lollipop update.

Anyone else having google maps totally laggy threw out whole app after update?
Everything else is silky smooth but maps..
Uninstall and put back
BAD ASS NOTE 4
I have Uninstalled all updates, disabled it,turned it back on and it still laggy.
Is it Maps in general or maybe GPS?
I noticed when I launched Waze while I had an audio book playing, that it distorted the audio for about 10 seconds then resumed to normal.
It's maps in general, wife's nexus 6 is super smooth in maps, maybe it's always been that choppy, just can really notice with as smooth as everything else is now on lollipop, smh lol
It used to say turn right on "street name" now it just says turn right without the street name?? Don't like this one bit!

Screen does not time out

I have had this issue on my stock/non-rooted N6 for a while - both on 6.0 and 6.0.1, and probably Lollipop as well. I have it set to sleep after 1 minute of inactivity, but very often it will never turn off. It will be sitting on the homescreen and stay on forever. Usually a reboot fixes it, but then it will go back to staying on. I assume it is some app running in the background that is causing the screen to stay on, but was wondering if anyone else has experienced this, or knows what app might be causing it?
Do you use any screen brightness apps like Lux? Try booting into safe mode and see if it goes away.
Try wiping the cache via stock recovery.
Thanks for the ideas. I do have Lux installed, but don't have it on as I found it to work only sporadically. I might just uninstall it, wipe cache and see how it goes.
My wife had this problem on her n6, it was one of her bs games she had on there after I closed all the apps that were running it worked properly until she opened whatever game was causing it,I'm still trying to narrow it down

GPS problems after Nougat update

Hi there,
I'm having problems with the GPS since the update to OS4... Before that I could record my runs with apps (runkeeper, polar) and never had a problem.
After the update I had 2 runs where my GPS signal was lost (or the apps stopped without notification)....
Is there a way to go back to an older version of OS, or would a factory reset help?

Factory reset is the first one you should try.But before that try to download kinda test apps for testing the gps .

But how test gps? It works for the first 6km....and than something stopped, maybe the app.. But Wednesday I used another app and that stopped recording also... Don't know if app stops after losing gps signal.. So maybe the apps are the problem... Not stable for use with Nougat maybe, because on MM everything was working fine

GPS on OP3T is useless for tracking.

you can check here, normal walking and it is like a zigzag. Another phone HTC one m7 and LG G2 show better results (much better)

yes there is always a way to revert back to older build.Just download stock version which ever you want and flash it using recovery and voila you have your stable version back where gps worked for sure.

Yes but it is ok One plus even gives you warranty on Unlocked bootloader.
This phone generally has very poor gps. I'm talking about from oos 3..5.4 it was really bad so idk if it got any better because I'm oos 4.0.1 and it's just as bad.

Yeah I know... But I'm losing everything so first I've to find a good backup program for a non rooted phone.
At the moment I've reinstalled the running apps that were giving me problems so look what happens now
Is the toolkit here on XDA working ok with OS4?
I guess it might me antenna hidden somewhere in bad place or something and it is not software dependant? Otherwise they would fix it

Gps worked better in 3.5.4 than on 4.01 signal is good but it calculates 22m accuracy an this wig good with lock on 17 satellites and strong signal .. and losses connection way to often.. (its something system/cpu/powering related..) needs to be fixed !!!
Maybe you have "active doze mode enabled" in battery settings... this renders GPS almost unusable as it kill /gps resets and locks again( and it way to often in background...

I got my 3T today tested the gps on 3.5.3 works perfectly acuracy is with in 10 meters.gonna test is later on using OS 4
on my old HTC one m7, I have accuracy min 6m when I am outside and next to OP3 where 10m accuracy is a max what I can get with fluctuations to 15-50m all the time. I have no idea what is going on. Also compass is behaving weirdly and not always showing correct North.
Same here, OxygenOS 4.0.2 broke the GPS
I use navigation a lot with my phone (Google Maps). I had no issues with the GPS quality and speed on Marshmellow (OxygenOS 3.2.8). Got the update to Nougat (OxygenOS 4.0.2) a week ago.
Since the upgrade, GPS often does not get a fix for several minutes, often puts me several 100 meters away from where I am, and keeps loosing the GPS fix every few minutes while I am driving. It is basically unusable for navigation.
I am now taking along my good old LG G4 every day just to use it as a navigation device. Have been running both phones in parallel in the car; the G4 gets me to my destination while I would not be able to find anything with the OnePlus 3....
I am already considering downgrading back to 3.2.8. But I'd have to factory reset and reinstall everything, that sucks
I recently had GPS issues on OOS 4.0.2 until I turned off Wi-Fi Scanning. After turning it off, GPS works normal.
Settings > Location > 3 Dot Menu > Scanning > Turn Off Wi-Fi Scanning

Question Pokemon Go

I've installed GMS on the phone and I am having trouble getting Pokemon Go to run properly. The game opens but about a 5 to 30 seconds after the map loads the game will freeze. The music will continue to play. Can anyone else who has the phone and has GMS installed try the game and see if the same thing happens to them? Thank you.
I'm seeing 'GPS signal not found. (11)' in game, It doesn't freeze it's just not playable without gps being detected
Did you freeze GSF?

For what its worth, Pokémon Go is running fine on my Huawei Mate X2 (with GMS installed on Emui11).
Originally, it was hanging like 30 secs to a minute after start up. Don't recall what I actually did, but I remembering granting all the permissions avail for the app, but it still had issues. I then restarted the game and allowed Game Space / Acceleration permission (i.e. Guess giving it overriding priority) and it has been running fine...
It does lose its location occasionally (happened twice in a space of 7 days playing), but can just turn off/on GPS and it's back...
No crashes or any other hangups other than that...
