I'm working on a root for galaxy s6 active but i need to know for which android build you need this root and which build are you on now , please make your vote in the poll section.
Notice: i don't own s6 active , it's why I'm asking testers to test those methods , I'm exynos developer ,i was able to get root on many phones that i don't have but that ofcourse was with the testers help, i believe that we will be able to get root on s6 active too
Warning:You must enable oem unlock in the developer options before trying any of those methods
Root test method for lollipop 5.1.1 only :

how to install :
you must be on 5.1.1 stock rom
extract the downloaded file , u will get 3 folders permissive,stock and twrp
enter download mode and flash the [boot.tar.md5] found in permissive folder , phone will reboot
now check if the permissive kernel is working by going to settings/aboutphone , [se for android status] should be permissive
now flash twrp from the 3rd folder and if it work flash supersu.zip
if u faced bootloop after flashing the permissive kernel , flash stock kernel u will find it in the second folder

I put the phone in download mode, opened Odin 3.11.1 as Admin, connected my lollipop 5.1.1 S6 Active to PC with latest Samsung Drivers installed, Odin gives the Added message, loaded the permissive file to AP, message is that its added successfully, i click start, it runs for around 2 seconds and gives me FAIL in red
where did I go wrong?

Sorry i can't gt any point from that ! its for my bad English for sure

i use in Samsung phones to Odin and put the Room in Odin and put it in Download mode and Start and Boom its finish and its work fine

QSLIDE ENABLED
HOW INSTALL
1.- Download and Rename the systemuiG5ModH440 to original name "LGSystemUI.apk" (Make backup you old o original LGsystemUI)
2.- Now use some root explorer (My favorite y ES file Explorer) now go to rute
/system/priv-app/LGSystemUI (folder)/ ---> paste and reeplace and add this permissions.
3.- Finish .. Now reboot your phone and Enjoy the new systemUI G5 style :silly:

Now I'm stuck with system ui crashing all the time. I do have a backup of system ui, but I can't do anything because I made a mistake and deleted the system ui that was in use (the one in this thread). Do I need to factory reset now? Can't do it through adb either(unauthorized, can't accept it on phone because of system ui crashing).

EDIT: It works fine on H440N, and now I have one idea for you to do something with SystemUI (explained in General Thread why can't edit anything right now and for next moth or two) - add AOSP statusbar icons (from guglicap's edit) with yur G5 QS and other parts of SystemUI. Tnx in advance

TWRP custom recovery for the Samsung Galaxy J3(2016) SM-J320H. Spreadtrum SC8830A.
Latest build is 3.0.2-1
Disclaimer: you flash these at your own risk. Knox counter will be tripped. Having the stock firmware to hand is also advised.
NOTE: BEFORE MAKING MODIFICATIONS, ON SOME ANDROID 5.1.1/6.0 DEVICES IT IS NECESSARY TO GO TO:
Settings -> Developer Options -> OEM unlocking
AND ENABLE OEM UNLOCK FIRST OR YOU MAY ENCOUNTER 'BLOCKED BY FRP LOCK' WHEN FLASHING.
UPDATE 26/10/2016: GUI lag fix.
Lag in the GUI should now be gone. Please someone confirm.
MTP fix
To install TWRP:
Boot to DOWNLOAD mode.
Flash with ODIN in the AP slot.
Uncheck Auto reboot.
Load the respective file below into the AP slot and hit start.
After flashing when ODIN says PASS immediately reboot to recovery by holding POWER + HOME + VOL DOWN.
As soon as the screen goes blank change to VOL UP whilst still holding the other buttons.
You should now see TWRP recovery.

1. Install Supersu via TWRP

You can use ODIN and download the firmware or simply restore the stock boot image. As long as your system partition remains untouched you will then be able to download the ota.

I have another problem bro. While charging my device when it's switched off, the screen won't wake up when pressing the power button. I have to unplug the charger to wake up the screen. The problem exists only in this ROM.

To install that .IMG follow this steps
In twrp select install image and then select boot not recovery
Does any one have problem while charging if yes comment I don't have

I figured out that it was boot, thanks faheem
no issues with charging
one issue I did notice is when I use a third part file manager,sharing even though I keep granting it permission to the sdcard, it won't work

OTG is working, it can read data but i havent tried writing.
charging works fine
PC transfer is ok as well
this rom is pretty much perfect haha

I don't have my imei, baseband , Bluetooth , serial number, etc.
they're all gone. how do it fix?
(I saw a thread where it said flashing the original boot.img might work, what do you think?)

oh so that's why the screen lock bug disappeared.
I tried chamelphn but imei is still unknown. same with baseband and bluetooth.

As you know some days ago, I posted a thread about H820 TOT firmwares. Sorry for late. Just wanted to do some clarifications.
Note: I want to clear you all out that all 3 firmwares have been read from my own H820 using a professional tool (Z3X LG Tool).

Use at your own risk. Everything should be clear.
Opinion:
If you are on 6.0.1 then first flash 7.0 and then 8.0 (Step by Step you know).
And use UPPERCUT for flashing. This is my personal opinion. You may know better.

Yes you can flash. Go to UPPERCUT thread. Download all the required tools from there. All instructions are there.

No, we can't, as the bootloader must be unlocked. By the way, did u try the firmware? is it working?

well, i tried to update it with UPPERCUT and have a black screen now.
I selected the file, update and everything went ok, until the last part when it says rebooting, then it turn off and never came back, i waited for an hour and nothing happend, but windows stills detect it .
I will try to use this metod https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g5/how-to/bring-lg-g5-to-life-download-mode-lgup-t3565508 but dont know if it will work
So UPPERCUT is throwing me a goddamn invalid command response answer and the damn phone is bricked. Thank you.

If your phone is detecting by pc or goes to download mode, you can try SALT utility for LG which works on linux.
You can found easily on XDA in Android Software Development and Hacking section.

I also tried LGFirmwareExtract tool and it can't identify the firmware, you checked if the compresed tot is ok? (I apologize for my poor english)
