Dear All,
My ZUK Z1 is bricked now.I am facing no network/no sim dectected issue after updating my new zuk z1. i tried below mentioned methods but still no progress. Kindly help me to resolve this issue
1. i tried *#*#4636#*#* method but i cannot change band and radio on button is not working
2. Used safemode method and off the airoplane mode
3. then i flash stock rom with all in one tool and my phone got bricked
4. i unbricked the phone via QPST method and check sim still not working

6. After that i changed to stock and still no progress
7. Then i flashed zuk z1 network fix file and still no progress
i have tried almost every method and still my phone is not picking network. Please help me

If it is under warranty. Flash the stock COS and lock the bootloader. Send it to service centre. I had the same issue after using it for just one month. I had tried all possibly Way's. But didn't work. I sent it for service and got it back after 15 days. They changed the mother board. Now it is fine. I am from Hyderabad, India.

[Q] Camera Not Working

Hello all, I have recently bought a brand new sony xperia z . I've unlocked it and installed PAC ROM. Then I've put it under water for 5 minutes, after a reboot, the phone didn't turn on. I tried flashing a stock ftf file but it didn't work. I took it to the repair center, there was a hardware issue. After it got repaired, I installed once again PAC ROM. I noticed that I could only open the camera app once because if I open it once again, the phone would reboot. I thought it could the ROM's bug so I reverted to stock but I couldn't even use it for once: once I open the camera app in stock rom, it would directly reboot.
I am afraid that there's a hardware issue, though I am not sure if it's because of the ROM or unlocking the phone because I didn't try the camera app before bricking the phone.
Any Ideas or help?
Can anyone please help me with this issue?

[Q] Signal Issue

I flashed omars rom about a week ago and everything was going great until this morning. I woke up and have no signal at all. Rang my operator, they said there's nothing wrong with the network. I've tried everything I can think but nothing. I've flashed different roms, kernels and ended up using rsd lite to go back to stock, and still no good. Anyone have any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
It can be hardware issue. If flashing full stock rom didn't help it shouldn't be software issue.
Download any app to enter radio settings and change to only 2g but it must be changed in radio settings, not just phone menu setting. If it wint help on stock full rom for 90% it gonna be hardware issue.

Phone doesn't read my SIM

I have been using CM11 (14-03-2014 I believe), without major problems until yesterday. Sometimes my phone seemed to disconnect from my SIM and I had to re-enter my pin code to reconnect to my operators network. But as of yesterday my device doesn't seem to recognize the SIM card, It doesn't ask for a code at all and can't make any connection whatsoever. I didn't change a thing, this problem started out of the blue.
I wiped cache and dalvik, updated to the latest CM nightly (08-05) but that didn't make any difference. In other threads I read about the baseband that might need an update, but I can't check which version I have now because when I try to enter the hidden menu I get the no network connection error. The strange thing is that CM11 has worked with (I guess) the stock baseband.
Is my phone tripping or could it be that my SIM card is broken?
Help and thoughts will be very much appreciated
Try it on stock to be sure about it.
After some searching I found a phone that could fit a regular SIM card, a Blackberry 9900. My SIM worked perfect in this phone, so that is not the problem.
I Also did a complete wipe and installed a stable version of CM 10.1.3, but that didn't seem to help. I hoped that a downgrade would have done the trick. I might try a ICS ROM or the stock firmware, but I kind of lost hope and i'm starting to think this problem is hardware related in stead of software. I'll report back with results on stock firmware and the ICS ROM.
How can I make sure the SIM reader in my phone is working properly?
Sorry for double posting, but I got an update:
SIM wasn't working with ICS so I decided to go back to the stock ROM. However, when I tried to flash V20B.kdz with KDZ_FW_UPD, the program got stuck at wParam=2010 and iParam=210. The phone is now stuck in S/W Update mode, and I haven't found a way to restore it yet. I will argue a little more with my phone when I get back from work, I'll open a new thread on how to unbrick when I can't do it myself.

I have your s problem and dont know what i will do. If you can. Please help me/
i have the same problem with my p880
I had the same problem...
In my case, as far as i can tell is hardware related.
The connection (imei and baseband) returns only if i use brute force, and start to press the phone very hard near the edges, near the the sim. .But they disappear if i turn off or reset the phone...

Is hard to take pictures because this is not a tutorial, i press different parts every time i lost my imei, until it works. What i do is pressing really hard (even bending a little the phone) everything above the battery, especially the sim card holder. Sometimes take 5, 6 , 7 attempts until the signal returns. When the phone turns on wait a little, because takes a few minutes until the signal returns.
I have kind of the same problem, but with slight differences: if I restart the phone, most times than not I get the signal back (at least for a few more hours) and using Zaiben's RC17 ROM it manages to get the signal back by itself after a while, no reboot needed. What I've found to be a "hack/solution" for this problem is to use the app Tasker to change network mode from 3G to 2G when the screen turns off. It appears than while in 2G this problem doesn't present itself...
@sergiohinniger apparently your brute-force method kinda works for me as well.
My phone started losing IMEI and baseband version after I replaced the audio jack and "small" PCB (the one with USB - now I'm back with original one). I then re-chcecked all connectors and coaxial cable, but the issue persists.
I think it works after few reboots with pressure on the back, so I believe that most likely it's caused by some bad cennectors. I have no idea though what to do with that Help, anyone?
It's true, with Zaiben or any stock roms the signal returns far more easily and sometimes resists the reboot. But now i have a new problem, the mac address, even when the signal returns, stay 00:00:00:00:00:00. I can only fix with a mac spoof app. This problem doesn't happen when i use custom roms, but the 3g signal is harder the return.
Some news, bad news
I have asked some repairers and here is their answer:
It's baseband file problem, if you have original Nandroid backup then it might help otherwise you can say bye bye to it

basically, the baseband/IMEI file is damaged due to flashing rom, if you dont have origianl file, there is noway to save it

Need Help "LOST IMEI and Baseband Unkonwn"
I was using Euporia 5.0.1 on LG 4x
I received update notification and I downloaded Update.zip ( which included to 5.1)
By mistake i flashed the zip directly from CWM ( without Formatting any partition )
after restarting there was no IMEI
Following things I have tried
1) Trying to flash Original V20C KDZ. via LG Flash Tool. ( I think it checks for IMEI , and that's why stuck in between)
2) Use LG Software Update tool. ( also can't progress with IMEI)
3) Flashed Original V20c Flashable zip from CWM (But it didn't restored my IMEI)
4) Contacted LG Service Center, and They say You need to change whole Motherboard. ( I was Shocked to know that )
:crying:
If anybody went to same problem. and resolved .
Please Guide me.

A repairer told me that some rom might contain RIL or baseband bugs that accidentally **** up our IMEI partition/files, so if you have NANDroid backup then try to restore it

Xq-at52 not certified devixe

Hi everyone,
Need some serious help please,
I have a xqat52, bought in January 21.
In the UK, on three the handset would not go into 5G.
After reading up, I decided to flash xq-at51 successfully to the UK rom. Everything was working lovely...
Received OTA updates and never had issues with updates or Google.
Device was certified and google pay and bank apps work fine.
2 weeks ago I received ota update and since then my device is no longer certified.
1 week ago received another ota now build 58.1.A.5.507 and device is still not certified.
I tried experia companion full repair with no luck, still same issue.
I sent the handset to Sony Uk for repair, and they factory reseted it back to stock XQat 52, but the device still shows as not certified and bank app and google pay no longer works,
at this point I am thinking in rooting my device and use magisk....
my bootloader is locked, never unlocked (i checked and so did Sony) but I am able to unlock it...
what do you guys think I should do, I want it to be a XQat51 for Uk and have it certified or rooted hidden.
any advise will be really appreciated, and this will bring back memories of rooting android when i had my HTC and where it all started
Thanks in advance
Update.
Went the rooted way. Not looking back.
Not so simple, but we'll worth it
Plenty of google search.
Android Kitchen which I didn't use before
Didn't really have a choice to get my 1ii working properly again.
All repairs / flash stock did not help no matter what I flashed UK / eu dual Sim / single Sim
Back to full stock from Sony HK version still didn't help
My android is now how I want it.
Shame on Sony for not helping and still waiting for a response.
Google store device now certified again.
Google pay working again.
All banks working
Fingerprint working
Netflix l3 not l1 but I don't use anyway.
Cinema Pro and photo Pro working
4k creator mode and Sony dynamic vibration working
Full root permission and able to customise like I use to when I 1st started with kitkat
Android is going down the apple way unfortunately, not so open anymore...
Good luck to anyone doing the same,

I'm glad for you.
I just bought a second hand XQ-AT51, and didn't noticed when I bought it that the Wi-fi and Bluetooth are not working.
And also that the bootloader is unlocked, and it seems that fast charging is not working.
Everything works fine as far as I see (camera, features).
I don't know what the previous owner did.
I didn't find anybody saying about Wi-fi and Bluetooth not working after Bootloader unlock/root Xperia 1 ii.
I tried locking bootloader and Xperia Companion software repair, same version 58.1.A.5.507 (as I see the latest) before repair and after.
Nothing changed.
Then I unlocked the bootloader, flashed twrp as recovery (probably not necessary in my case) and flashed the stock software with Flashtool, latest (the same as before) from xperifirm. But I got some messages some things didn't flashed (didn't save the message).
Still the same.
Do you have any idea about DRM keys needed (as I know older Xperias pretty much lost the camera without backup and restore to some files)
Or do you have any "spare" backup files that I might need and work for different devices?
Thanks!

I flashed xq-at51 from Xperia with flasher.
I don't think drm will affect Bluetooth or WiFi?
Mine are lost anyway, once bootloader unlocked its gone! I was prepare to loose them.
Connectivity issues you mention I
Never had that problem despite locking unlocking bootloader and flashing various rom xqat52 HK or Asian and xq-at51 UK and EU.
Might be something else you are experiencing on the phone directly , run a sony test through the app "support" it has a connectivity section. Might give you a better idea before flashing anything else.
I think you can also do it via phone codes *#.......
Google it, it will enter service menu, you can test your handset this way too.
Thanks for the suggestions, I didn't think of trying Support.
But forgot to say, in the Settings at About it says MAC address unavailable for both Wi-fi and BT.
With code *#*#4636#*#* it says Wi-fi Mac address 02:00:00:00.....
As I found some older forums for other devices with about the same issue and being from flashing not proper firmware, I honestly don't know what's going on, since I flashed the stock firmware again, maybe some files are not flashed again because I'm flashing over the same firmware.
Hopefully, I will find a solution.

Latest ver of flasher ? V52
With flasher, if I remember correctly
I chose command a android reboot
N to dump (did once the 1st time as a backup)
I did choose partition persist
No to everything else.
Maybe try and repair with companion make sure it gets back to factory stock rom with correct variant.
Do a factory reset within the phone
(I know I did several, after each flash)
Then reflash with flasher, also might be worth redownloading a clean rom and put in a new folder, so it's clean and not changed.
Add flasher (latest) to that folder and do another clean install.
The rapair tool from Sony failed few times on me, not sure why, but sony software somehow still knew my Xperia 1ii was originally a xq-at52 and would not repair / so I had to flash using flasher xq-at52 stock rom, then repair then flash back using flasher to xq-at51.
Sony repair if successful is your best bet... Once repaired properly you can do it again and again.
I just realised you mention flash tool, use flasher. Exe no issues...
Download from Xperia firm your rom. (always the same or higher)
Downloader flasher (latest)
Few files to copy straight into the same folder as the extracted Xperia firm folder.
Run the flasher. Exe
Follow instructions
Should flash everything correctly.
I bootloop mine and bricked few times...
Flasher rebooted it every time.

Thanks, I didn't knew about newflasher.
But I see that it's skipping persist (flashtool was also skipping persist)
Skipping persist_X-FLASH-ALL-2389.sin
And also
Skipping partition-image-LUN0_124936192_X-FLASH-ALL-2389.sin
And I read somewhere that it's skipping .sin that are not matching.
But maybe if I flash them I will solve my issue.
As I see older versions have the options to write or skip. Did you write it? If I write it I will lose attest keys? Because at mine it says Android Attest Key Provisioned after relocking the bootloader, but was Not Provisioned before.
I guess I have to backup persist.sin if I want to flash it and for that I need to root.
Do you think that flashing persist might solve my issues? Or it will give me more issues
