Looks like I got infinite boot. Tried to shut it down and power on, still trying to boot. Thanks anyway.

Looks promising, was waiting for some dev to pick on MIUI. I love these roms. Thanks for sharing, will flash and test.

Unmount system in twrp, then install.

I am using MIUI ROM from this link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/how-to/rom-miui-8-oneplus-3-based-6-0-1-t3425328
i liked miui roms they have good GUI ,stable and battery friendly but issue is poor support for gapps and xposed so i will wait for some more to gain more customization in it.

Me too, a try everything, wipe data before flashing, after flashing, flash after miui chinese rom, dirty flash.. nothing.

Like I said, stuck at boot. I guess it's because it fails when trying to install cust files. OP, did you use TWRP 3.0.2-1 ?

Thanks ashyx!
Just wondering, will it be possible for you to port it to T705? Think if it is possible, a lot of T705 users will be thrilled...
Can you please tell me a step by step in installing?
Which do I install first?
The rom or the img?
Thanks.

Installed the ROM this afternoon and so far it's working fine. I just have a question and an observation.
The question is how can I root the ROM so I can use Xposed. The observation is that besides the network sign and other things that got removed because they don't make sense on the WiFi rom, there's still a "Download booster" option in Settings (which requires LTE) and the Messages app, which also doesn't work on SM-T800 - I think it's also tied with the Contacts app so it's not as simple as just removing it.
Besides that, thank you so much for this port! Even if there are no big changes and new features, it still feels good to have stock Marshmallow, after waiting so much time for it. But tbh I'm just waiting for an AOSP Nougat ROM so I can enjoy decent Android with split screen.

Just flash supersu with twrp.
Regarding the other stuff you mentioned.
It would be a waste of my time to do a full port of the rom by removing everything T805 related when the official rom will be out soon enough.
This is just so everyone can test it out.

You may need to wipe dalvik cache. If that doesn't work the DATA partition itself.

decrypt data, make a full wipe on twrp.should be working.
you need to have installed the latest fw.
soon i will make a new post.
The instructions may be helpful, e.g., need latest TWRP. Does that mean the TWRP 3.0.3-1 or the TWRP in the original post, and if so do you flash the twrp.img in the decompressed .rar file, or is there an extension change.
Thanks for the continued good work.

I don't have the 2017 version, but what does it say? Can't you flash the system via fastboot? Or use stock recovery and force update to update it? Just remember that you need a FULL package. On most Huawei phones you can just flash a FULL package I'm TWRP. Just OTA doesn't work because it doesn't include a full system.img most of the times.

Sorry, I meant installing, not restoring. It's just bascally downloading the ROM, extracting the contents using Huawei update extractor, and using ADB to push the files in. You will need to reinstall TWRP and Root afterwards..Google is your friend, there are instructions out there, as there are 3 ways to install the stock ROM: using the updater on your phone, using the key combo, and the 3rd one being ADB.

[ROM][STOCK][TWRP][v9.5.10]Tissot Stock Oreo 8.0 Rooted/8.1 Leak

Code:
Warning! any damage done to your device is not my fault, use at your own risk!
Hi everyone, after seeing a lack of TWRP flash-able roms I decided to upload this, it is the latest stock rom of the Xiaomi A1, pre-rooted (although I attached stock kernel if you rather go root free)
Instructions:
First of all have at least 30% power on your device to avoid any power down during flash and possible bricking
1. In TWRP select zip and flash, please note that this will flash both A/B partitions (but not userdata partition)
2. After done, reboot
What's the use of this ZIP? if your like me and not always next to your PC to flash fastboot roms or if you want to return to stock or downgrade etc, you can do it using this.

Use this to boot TWRP (fastboot boot [twrp_Image.img]):
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=962157660013069602
then flash this from external SD
http://www.mediafire.com/file/338o7cl72z52rzz/twrp-3.2.1-1-installer-tissot-FIXED_By_DroiDMester.zip
After that internal/external will mount fine, the key is having it flashed, otherwise they don't mount if booted

I have a question. After flash I directly flash stock boot.img, after boot to system and let everything settle down I boot back to recovery and it is now the stock recovery. Does this mean if there's OTA in future I can apply it?

Back from LOS to MIUI

Hi,
I'm not fully happy with my LineageOS because I need to push a button before using the fingerprint. That's why I want switch to Xiaomi.eu MIUI 11.
Can I simply flash the ROM with TWRP or is anything else to do before?
Thanks a lot...

Is there a way to flash it under linux or do I need a windows computer for that?
