Hi, i would like to have the name of my icons in the dock on the native Huawei launcher emui 4.1. How to do?
P.S: i'm not rooted...

it cant be done in emui launcher, bt u always have the freedom to change to another launcher

And how? There is no option in this emui launcher:crying::crying:...i have installed some themes with the name in the dock and...nothing:crying::crying:
Which files must be modified??? Where is the emui launcher apk????....I think that the phone must be rooted....I don't want to change the launcher...I like this one

u must modify huawei launcher(com.huawei.hwmwlauncher),to make any changes to its looks.
try decompiling and editing it

Editing an apk is not a small feat imho so it's a long shot that you will get an solution soon even if you got one.
You should stay away from editing apk.
Don't forget to take backup first...

rosie folder contains only the arc images.
and if u want to change color of the top bar and other buttons then u will have to edit other folders as well.
hey i have all the graphic material, so now im making it into a update.zip file, but do u have to use the update.zip from the tutorial ? or the modaco 2/8 ?

F*ck i did it i made a update.zip, and i must say its easy
But i was so stupid that i used the red theme from ratcom,
now the top bar is red as you can see and nut brushed metal
So what u think guys? do you like the brushed metal?

i changed almost everything but the only thing i can see is the brushed metal unlock bar, the navbar on the homescreen.
And most of the changes didnt appear :S

may be ratcom can say why the changes arent appearing on the phone.
there must be something wrong with the update.zip file.... did you sign everything?
If you like you could send me your work and I'll have a look for you ...... upload it using http://www.4shared.com/ its easy because you can use your gmail account to login

I think u should be able to find it in "framework-res.apk" file under settings/framework
framework-res.apk\res\drawable\progress_horizontal.xml

Its not a .png you can just edit in photoshop. You have to decompile and edit the progress_horizontal.xml file.

Hello, guys! I was wondering if someone could send me the APK file of the Android Launcher used on Moto X and Moto G (2013 Versions!). I usually use Launcher2 but I would really like to have the transparent status bar. I know the two launchers are actually the same and that I could set the transparent bar with root permissions on Launcher2 but I would really like to have it Without root permissions. I noticed that several people have been asking about it in other forums but I never managed to find what I was actually searching.
Can someone realize my little desire? Thanks!

If rooted you paste the files & set perms to the same as other apks. Reboot to install. Rename any previous file of the same name to .bak
I used Nova, more features and still transparent

I've been using Nova 'till now and I used to personalize it as if I was using differents devices (HTC, Sony, LG etc.) but after trying Launcher2 I got really interested in stock launchers! I however thank you for your interest

You can't alter system apps without root. And that's what the stock launcher is. If it won't just click and install, I doubt there is anything you can do.
Maybe I'm wrong and someone can correct me, but that's my understanding.

^ This is correct. Launcher2 is a system app that requires root to modify. If you're trying to install another Launcher2 on top of it, you'll get an error.

Please help me, I am stuck with really ugly icons.
After trying to root my device I got stuck in a bootloop. After restoring it I am now stuck with ugly icons. When i go to change the theme nothing happens.

You tried to debrand before?
When the debrand process is incomplete or incorrect, you get C900.

Are you using a 3rd party launcher like Nova Launcher?
I've noticed that on my own device it showed some really outdated icons when I was using Nova launcher
Btw the problem is still in EMUI 5, although most of the icons look newer
