I has been using v6 for pokemon go, I figured v7 would be just improvements and a nicer app. I have v6 backed up but not the apk, anyone got a link for it?
Use SuperSU's suhide or phh's hidesu (depending on your root flavour). That's gonna be the way to get SafetyNet and not-so-root-friendly apps working from now on.
Also, you should read topjohnwus statement and explanation in the official v7 sticky.
Where is this hide su app from phh? Don't see anything on his xda threaD? So we have to switch back to chainfire root?

Not totally sure this isn't related to the ROM I have installed, but I am reverting to v6 for now and Autohide to test.

I got the Android Pay working by uninstalling Magisk v7. Rebooted, Android Pay worked.
Then installed Magisk v6, and it is still working.

Hello guys. I'm tempted to install Magisk on my Zenfone 2 ZE551ML. I have the latest CM13 Nightly + Xposed and I want to ask if Magisk has any problem running alongside these two.
Another question is if I can still use the built in CM13 root.

Im running on CM 13 (ZenFone 2 Laser ZOOL) stable and it works fine.
The only problem is that with xposed active the safetynet check don't pass. But its just a matter of disabling xposed and rebooting when necessary.
I dont know if the differences are too significant, but hope it helps.

Magisk itself works perfectly with Xposed installed, only Magisk Hide that doesn't hide Xposed.
So if you don't plan on using any app that checks Safety Net (Pokemon Go, Android Pay, for example) You won't have any problem.

and what about the built in CM13 root ?
I think the newest Magisk auto removes it when you flash it.
But I had manually removed before installing magisk on mine.
But in any case, if I remember correctly you can just remove it thru the SuperSU app before flashing Magisk.

No problem. Just remember to make a nandroid backup first if you are worried.
I'm using ResurrectionRemix Rom on my LG G3 Beat and Pokemon GO v. 0.67.2 and as soon as I install Magisk (used MagiskHide and tried many things) v. 12 or v. 13 beta it stops working. My device passes SafetyNet so it should not be a issue. Someone having this issue too? How can I fix that?
Edit: I finally found the issue. It's KernelAdiutor.

Why do you use a pogo version that isn't forced yet? 0.67.1 works totally fine.
No need to update, especially not, if you don't know what the update contains and what it is doing.
Go to magisk settings and then to tick the "core only mode" checkbox. Reboot and you are done.
Google has strenghten SN policies and now Magisk modules functionality makes you fail SN check. The temporary solution is to disble all modules related functionality following the steps above.

It doesn't have to be on the list. It's using SafetyNet that is on there by default.

No idea... If you're passing SafetyNet you've got some other issue than it detecting root.

Try Using Universal SafetyNet Fix v2 Beta 3 with Magisk v12
and, what did you mean when says doesn't work? I guess you may have mock locations in dev settings enabled or Xposed installed.
I think I found the issue! I completly reinstalled RR, Magisk etc. with my apps but don't configured my other apps. Pokemon GO worked fine. After configuring Kernel Adiutor it doesn't let me in.
Edit: Yep, uninstalled it, reboot and started PoGo, it's working.

Just lowered my max. cpu freq, max. gpu freq, edited some cpu governor settings and edited my lmk settings.

Listed where? And this is not in official magisk module repo. You need to flash it manually after downloading from here.

1. It installed very well in TWRP.
2. Booting to "System" made a massive Optimization of 133 app's , coz of "com.google.android.dialer.support.jar" file , No Problem. :fingers-crossed:
3. Contacts app Installed and Working very well. :good:
4. Phone[Dialer] app Installed and not working , It's force closing for every start.
5. Message app on other hand it did not install and installing manually from your zip file also fail's saying "App not Installed" error.
I have fixed it back by disabling the module.

Phone & messaging apps are not working for you because of wrong apps for your phone. Provide me phone maximum resolution, android version you're using.

flashed v2.3 with magisk manager but the result -> all modules got deleted and couldn't install them again (instalation of a module goes well but that module isn't listed as installed even after reboot/delete magisk's cach/delete magisk's data), I solved the issu by uninstalling completly magisk and reinstalling it again. Didn't try to flash through recovery though (too afraid to reinstall all my modules again !)

Well i installed Dolby Atomos via Magisk , using Magisk module . If you are rooted and have Magisk installed you can search for it and install it.

i tried it with OOS 9.0.5
the app is detecting xposed
but is not affecting the slider function
i think because the oos version
How do I install it? I used to have it in android 8, but with the update i lost it... I'm afraid to install it and bootloop my phone or brick it...

if you go to Magisk Manager, Download Section, search for (Riru -EdXposed)
and you find all the instructions there

now i use Yahfa, but i tried both and they work, honestly i dont see the difference, but as the developer said , try both and stick with the one you find smoother

UPDATE: installed Edxposed 0.2.9.8 and EdXposed installer, thing are smoother now

Not Working

- Download redirection (makes xposed installer not detecting that xposed is installed - so destroys all xposed functionality)

when i use riru-core 19.6, edexposed 0.4.6.0-beta and magisk 20.2 i get bootloop. What versions to use to avoid this? For OxygenOS 9.0.9
Try edxposed 0.4.5.1 4463. It works for me on OOS 9.0.10
