Remote command not allowed for unlocked bootloader - Honor 5C Questions & Answers

I want to flash custom recovery in my phone but it shows
remote: command not allowed
In bootloader, it shows that it is unlocked.
i get the same error when I type
fastboot oem devices-info
remote: command not allowed
I tried
fastboot oem unlock XXXXXXX(huawei code)
and it shows my phone already unlocked
and I tried
fastboot oem relock XXXXXXX
it shows
remote root type is risk
and I tried
fastboot oem lock
it shows
remote command not allowed
The recovery is still Huawei e-recovery, it asked me to download the update but it always failed when it comes to download package.
What should I do now?

To boot your recovery, disconnect from pc, press and hold power, vol up until a reboot, let go of power but keep the other pressed for about 5,6 sec more.

Also try this TWRP https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1Ez6wAY1mj6c0xxaTBUWmZVN1k/view?usp=sharing (Chinese)

U don't have proper drivers installed.

Hi all ! I had exactly the same issue... The problem was solved by using the TWRP-CN image pointed by Druger ! (thank you mate) Any other attempt resulted into a fail. Twrp is of course in chinese language but follow this, and your life will be a bed of roses : youtube.com/watch?v=KOhR92EKD7A
Hope this will help

yes you can. If your phone is in bootloader mode, you also can connect your phone to your computer and start Motorola Device Manager and see if MDM will repair your phone automatically.

@blu3m3,
when it asks to press volume up, just press it and in a few seconds bootloader will get unlocked
But don't forget to type the command 'fastboot format userdata ' & hot enter after unlocking bootloader.
And one more thing, just don't worry about that OEM unlock option in dev settings, it does nothing

I done what you told me , but still not working

I think bootloader must be locked something else, but i don't know how.

check if your phone's drivers are installed correctly and whether your phones is recognised in fastboot mode or not.
you can check it by typing "fastboot devices" and enter.
If it shows something like device serial name or anything, then your device is connected in fastboot mode otherwise install correct drivers.
Hope this helps.

wait! wait!, if you wanna flash a ROM after unlocking bootloader, then you can do that without unlocking it too. Follow the steps.
1). Download flashable twrp zip by 1cefire and put it in your sdcard and also extract recovery.IMG from it.
2). Put that recovery image into the folder where you have your fastboot and adb files.
3). Reboot to fastboot and type
"fastboot boot recovery.img"
after that phone will temporarily boot into TWRP. Now just flash the flashable zip of TWRP from yr sdcard to permanently install TWRP recovery.
Hurray, now you can flash any ROM without unlocking bootloader.
Press thanks if it helps.

Hello friends,
I'm have made a "Flashing guide" to update your Blackview BV6000's ROM to Nougat 7.0.
Please follow the link below and update ROM. You could also find a "TWRP installation + Rooting Guide" for your Blackview BV6000 in the archives.
http://dreamworks75.blogspot.in/2017/08/rom-flashing-guide-blackview-bv6000.html
Happy Flashing !!
+1 on this one.
I'm too stuck on that disabled volume up button, when confirming whether to oem unlock the phone.
I've read in a blog post (can't link yet) that one can specify a 16-digit unlock code for the fastboot oem unlock command, but I have no idea whether it would allow me to confirm unlocking - and also no clue where that code could be obtained from in the first place.
So, any further info?

P8 lite 2017 stuck in boot screen

My phone is stuck in boot screen since last night. Powering it off it just boot and stuck again. I've never modded the phone. It's stock with 2 months of life. I can access EMUI recovey menu to wipe cache or factory reset and connecting it to a pc and pressing volumkey down+bootkey It enter in FASTBOOT&RESCUE mode.
Is there something I can do to access phone memory? I really need to save some files.
I thought I could use adb to pull the files I need but I suppose I've usb debug disabled so the device is not recognized. It's recognized by fastboot.
Try to extract the following partitions: boot, recovery, cust & system with Huawei Updater Extractor and flash them manually by.
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash cust cust.img
fastboot flash system system.img
Of course you need to download the right firmware for your variant.

I guess you can flash stock images even if your bootloader is locked.

try to reflash stock boot.img only if fastboot is recognized, I've the phone about 2 week and no issues for now.

Is there any way I can access files on my phone? I really need some recordings
I dont understand why the phone is not seen as adb device. I think usb debug is enabled because I used hisuite some days ago and I think that software needs it enabled
My phone is also stuck at the boot screen, I guess I have the same issue. My phone is also about 2 months old, not rooted, not unlocked, original software. I cannot boot into recovery mode, I can only boot into fastboot&rescue mode while holding the power button and volume down button when attach to the computer by a USB cable. The screen on my phone says the following:
-------
FASTBOOT&RESCUE MODE
Please Connect Usb Cable to
Your Computer and Open Hisuite
Android reboot reason:
AP_S_ABNORMAL
NA
volumekey_down_press_process_func
[android logo]
PHONE Locked
FRP Lock
rescue mode enter..
-------
I tried to flash boot.img and recovery.img (extracted from an update.app through HuaweiUpdateExtractor) but I get the following message in Minimal ADB and Fastboot:
-------
target reported max download size of 471859200 bytes
sending 'boot' (15498 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.625s]
writing 'boot'...
FAILED (remote: Command not allowed)
finished. total time 1.375s
-------
I assume that I'm not able to flash anything because my phone is locked and USB-debugging is not enabled on the phone through settings (and I cannot get there since the phone doesn't boot into Android). When I connect my phone to the PC the Hisuite does open automatically but it doesn't show any phone, nor cannot recover it through that software.
If only I could flash anything on the phone, that would be a step forward in reviving this phone. Does anyone have ideas?

I guess you mean unlock bootloader? I emailed Huawei with the question if I could get Unlock Bootloader code. To get that I need the phone's serial number, IMEI number and product ID. The first two I have, the product ID I can't get, because I cannot boot into Android and dial *#*#1357946#*#*. I read somewhere that there is an algorithm to figure out the product ID, there's even an Huawei Product ID Generator.exe, but the P8 lite 2017 isn't supported. If I know the product ID I can get the Unlock Bootloader code, unlock the bootloader and hopefully flash a new recovery and boot and rom.

I cannot unlock bootloader since Huawei unlock plugin has closed.
I can only access fastboot mode but flashing commands seems to be "not allowed".

Create a folder and insert a twrp file (for example twrp.img). Then type fastboot boot TWRP.img . If it allows you to do that then you'll get into TWRP. This will probably won't work, so I think the only thing is left is to repair that power button to make an installation via QFIL.

Flashing Unlock
Hey, make sure that you have first unlocked the bootloader with the fastboot command: "fastboot flashing unlock". Try it. It will erase all your data and do a reset factory and then you should be able to reboot your device normally. Also, it will let you flash the boot.img for root your device.

Did you let unlock bootloader and permitted the USB debbugin on the developers option before flash the boot.img?
Make sure you are using a USB 2.0 to connect your device to the PC. See if you PC recognizes the device into the fastboot menu with "fastboot devices", if doesn't, try reboot another phone with "adb rebbot bootloader", then enter "fastboot devices", your device should be listed into de the devices attached. Then try again entering "fastboot flashing unlock".

Oh, that could be a problem. Try to use this tool. I hope you can get your phone working again. If this doesn't works, try to flash the original boot.img of your firmware version.
