thank you, this is awesome.. now i have this on both my pixels..been using the pixel more than the xl

Chainfire's root for the Pixel/Pixel XL is live!
I'm running this kernel with root and it works great! A few small things in the EX Kernel app that still need to be implemented/fixed (@flar2 already knows), but so far after a few hours things are still solid.

I kinda like the little one better too

works like a charm..only four cores show in exkm

Is the SafetyNET patch working with .04? It doesn't seem to be working even though the kernel flashed successfully on the active boot slot

So far when I flash EX kernel root stops working and when I reboot the phone to root it again kernel reverts back to stock. Is there a way to keep the kernel permanently?

How did you manage to get the kernel and root running at the same time? One removes the other for me. Is there a way to flash the kernel permanently?

You flash this kernel with:
fastboot flash boot IMAGE
Then the root boot image:
fastboot boot KERNEL_IMAGE
Make sure you leave off the flash part for the kernel.

Thanks for the reply but i don't see the distinction between "this" kernel and "the" kernel. Are there two kernels or one I'm supposed to flash twice?

Update!!
Changes for 0.05:
-add vibration control
Obviously you'll need root to play with this stuff.
Here's the procedure:
1. reboot to bootloader
2. fastboot flash boot_a EX-P-0.05.img
3. fastboot boot boot-to-root.img
4. Profit...
I just pushed an update to EX Kernel Manager. Version 2.93 fully supports the Pixel. It fixes the crash on the Graphics screen, adds vibration control, updates to work with all GPU settings, and fixes Kernel Backups.

Success!!! I got both working now thanks. Will I have to do this after every reboot or will the kernel stick because I did flash instead of just boot?
Thanks btw! Much apreesh!

If I flash the kernel without root, just to get Android pay working, what would be different from stock kennel? Sweep 2 wake and sweep to sleep are both on correct? Any scheduler/swap/zram/clock changes?

Q: How do I set or change the kernel settings?
A: Use an app like Trickster to control the kernel settings.
Q: Why do some developers use an install script to set the kernel features and others use a control app?
A: To each his own. I personally like the flexibility of a control app so I can change settings on the fly and monitor the cpu frequencies/temperature etc. in lieu of changing the script and rebooting each time.
Q: Will you add this feature?
A: Maybe if you provide me with a good reason and research backing up why it's good to add. I like to keep my kernels somewhat clean to maintain optimization on battery and performance without going overboard.
Thanks for this, when I jump on a stable lollipop Rom I'll be sure to give this a shot.

[KERNEL] [N7505] [N750-untested] [17-01-2015] ExperiencedKernel for Note 3 Neo

Hello! I would like to show my first project for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo N7505 and N750 . It's for all 4.4 KitKat Roms. This kernel is a big pack of optimizations and unlocked features. Let's see what's changed from stock kernel.
I wanted to created kernel providing power saving when browsing the internet and performance when you need to play games.
Features:
Compiled with SaberMod 4.8 Toolchain
Added ROW (default), ZEN and SIO I/O Schedulers
Added PowerSuspend module
Enabled 1400 and 1500 Mhz frequency for A7 cores (use TricksterMod for example to enable)
Enabled 667 Mhz GPU frequency (enabled by default)
Compiled with optimized flags
Enabled more Power Saving tweaks
Added Dynamic FSync (enabled by default)
Some I/O optimizations and tweaks
Replaced LED colors wth more natural and gentle RGB
Configurable LED RGB through /sys/class/sec/led/
Added and enabled UKSM (better version of KSM)
Init.d support
Readahead increased to 2048
What you need:
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo N7505 or N750 with 4.4 firmware
Custom Recovery
Flashing:
Boot to TWRP or other recovery
Flash zip
Reboot system now!
Kernel was tested on Note 4 Mini Rom (N7505).
Download: http://artas182x.you2.pl/android-projects/experiencedkernel-samsung-galaxy-note-3-neo/
Changelog:
Added support for N750 variant - but it was untested. I recommend to test it on UniKat rom.
Tweaked filesystem mounts
Optimized some functions
Added less important tweaks
Fix for reseting WiFi password

Hey I am using ur kernel in my CleanStock Rom for about 3 days now...
Finally lowest brightness ever thanks for it, but i had to use gravitybox and set the brightness to 2 in order to make it work (guess its enabled in ur rom by default)...
Overall performance is just close to stock, actually a bit better (i felt that with the borets kernel ,fone feels a bit sluggish at times)
Our roms are pretty close to the features
Nice job i wud say...

lower brightness is from kernel
if the kernel support lower brightness, you can Moddifying your framework-res.apk by change the value minimal brightness in integrer.xml to enable by default.
push it and reboot
now you can slide your brightness slider into lower :good:
simply, you can take my framework-res.apk in my rom and put into your rom don't forget to use my kernel

No. This is not a flashable zip file. As the OP already mentioned the steps to flash this ROM. Read the original post.

I guess yes. After flashing this ROM, you can flash twrp recovery.
For xposed, you need rooted device. So enable the root access and then download the xposed installer with correct xposed framework for your device.

Welcome to the Twisted Kernel for the Galaxy S6 920T.......This kernel
are based on G920TUVU5FQE1 with all the correct ramdisk merges. This kernel also come
with Synaspe support.....which will be discussed more below.
I also want everyone to know that I have a 920T. All I ask is a little bit of appreciation for the time I had to spend
on bringing this to yall. I dont think I'm asking for too much. Plus, I dont see very many
kernels here, especially with the amount of optimizations as mine do. Or rather, the experience
in building them.
SYNAPSE
Each kernel has Synapse support. Now, before anyone starts *****ing......there is some Java errors
that I still need to fix. They WILL NOT affect performance OR battery life. I just havent gotten around
to fixing them yet. But, I will be addressing them on the next update.
If you are unfamiliar with Synapse I would suggest that you do some reading on it. It can become
the best thing since sweet tea, or the worst like.......well, you get the picture. BUT, Synaspe does
have a safety feature......if you adjust something (like voltage) and either give or take away too much,
Synaspe will cancel out your selections on a reboot.

And Info
My kernels provide the best of both worlds, performance and battery life. If you want your
device to be wide open and battery life isnt a issue, you can tune it to fly just as fast as you
want. Or, if your the conservative type, you can tune it in to get you the best battery life you
can possibly have on the S6. The choice is all yours on how YOU want your device to run. All
I did was give you the means to do so........
MAGISK
My kernel comes with all the commits in order for it to pass all Safety-Net restictions. But,
Magisk can also cause issues such as loosing root on a reboot, or causing errors in Synaspe.
This is due to BusyBox which he has implemented in his binary. This is NOT a kernel issue.
So please dont flood my thread with things I cannot control.
SUPERSU
SuperSU works just fine. Only set-back is that it will not pass Safety-Net. BUT, he does have
a Aroma installer that just may help to pass all of Safety-Net bull........I myself uses SuperSU
Just make sure that you flash either Magisk or SuperSU after you flash the kernel. Failure
to do so will make it boot back to TWRP......
ISSUES/BUGS/REBOOTS
If you have any of these problems you need to speak up. I have been on this kernel for awhile
and have yet to run into any issues. Thats not saying that you won't either.....

Finally, Twisted-Nougat kernel. I know everyone (well, almost everyone) has been waiting for me to release this. But
remember I do have a life and this stuff here is just for kicks and giggles.
There will be four (4) zips for four (4) different kernels....Make SURE you have downloaded the CORRECT zip
for your device. Flashing the wrong kernel will cause you to have SERIOUS issues. All four (4) kernels are built from the
same sources, just different configs. Which means each kernel is the same as far as commits and such.
As of right now there is NO Synaspe support. I will more than likely add that in the future. I use Kernel Auditor (paid)
to do all of my tweaking. But, your more than welcome to use what you want.
Under The Hood
Built with Linaro 6.3 Toolchain (plan to upgrade in the future)
CA53 OC to 1704MHz
CA53 UC to 200MHz
CA57 OC to 2304MHz
CA57 UC to 200MHz
Linux 3.10.105 (3.10.107 coming soon)
22 Governors
11 I/O Schedulers
Interactive Gov Tweaks
Dcache Word Access
HotPlug Tweaks
Improved Power Efficiency
Safety-Net Commits
Knox Disabled
SecureStorge Fix
Disabled TIMA
Wake Lock commits (Help reduce them)
Kernel set to Permissive
More to come.......
My kernels come with NO root. That is your responsibility to flash. I have provided yall with Magisk 13.3
and SuperSU 2.82. You will need to flash one BEFORE you reboot. Like I said, thats your choice
on which you prefer.
I personally have not had any issues. But thats not to say one of you may. IF you run into a issue please post
the problem so I can either address it or someone else can. On a serious note......I own the 920T Flat. Which means I have absolutely ZERO
need for these other kernels. All I'm asking is a little gratitude for my efforts. If there isn't any then I will discontinue development on which
ever device seems to lack it. Thats not asking for much. And its not like there are any devs that are building kernels.

I tried flashing this on top of my Twisted Nougat ROM. It boots fine then after a minute or so goes into a reboot and gets stuck at the white TMobile splash screen (dim). I'm on a 920T
How can I get logs to you for debug? Probably caused by some app that's not working well with this kernel

Tried it twice before posting here. Not looking to create a bunch of work for you.. given the activity level on this thread. Was curious if you were seeing the same issue
Reverted to Twisted Nougat ROM for now.

It also doesn't work for me, I restored to before flashing and tried multiple magisk versions. My phone boots after about 3 minuted then gets stuck at the t mobile splash screen.
As for the dead thread part, if you were to post it in the main S6 forum then you'd likely have much more feedback, you're kernels are the best in my experience.

I will be using this kernel, long time Lerker but S6 is actually starting to really die, everyone is upgrading. I have no reason to because this phone works perfectly fine. Now I have to learn how to use Synapse
Edit** holy sh*t, I only flashed the kernel and Magisk, and everything feels a lot more smoother (animations, camera, etc). I fixed Magisk from uninstallling every boot by turning Magisk hide. I never used Samsung Pay but when I tried, Knox was already tripped and the app rejected me despite safety check. Don't know too much about it though.

I do not know why i am having issues, Ive done a fresh install, Cleared Cache, Followed the instructions. But after flashing this kernel it will run really good then all the sudden lag out to the point it resets the phone. Then on restart it hangs on the tmobile screen. Maybe i need to redownload and try again?

Adb and fastboot works just fine. But i am no expert to use that stuff. I have no I issues to say that some people like you are better than me at that those things
Thank you, all is working fine! Great!
Thanks!! Flashed now. Can you please explain, what means touch boost? Is it supposed to help with typing on display etc. ? Cause calibration of display is horrible on OP8 Pro. My OP7 Pro was MUCH better.

Touch boost is a short boost to the CPU's clock speed when the device detects a touch. Nothing to do with display calibration, but it might help. By default, touch boost is enabled, if I'm not mistaken.
I tried to use the built in colour calibration tool to help with the slight green tint what I have at lower brightness levels, but it just makes everything more red and blue and that's not better either.
I'm not sure what is K-lapse supposed to do though.
i always disable touch boost
Thank you for this ?

One last question ?.
I'm using a custom kernel now on OOS 10.5.6. can I flash your kernel over it, or should I go back to the stock kernel first?
