[THEME][AROMA]System Animation 8 styles with 6 add-on adjustments [v1.1 - NOV 19] - Galaxy S6 Themes and Apps

More info layer,
Basically I've had several requests and noticed question in many threads asking for flashable zip options for different animations.
So I give you this, UNIVERSAL for MOST Samsung devices Aroma installer to give users the option for different choices!
This zip will work for MOST Samsung device running ANY Rom with ANY version Android!
And just to be safe, I have included in my scripts and files a method that will create a flashable restore zip of your files before the mods does its thing!
The restore zip will be inside the new "ozop" folder that has been created and the zip is named "ozop-restore.zip"
If something doesn't play nice, just flash the zip and you'll be back to the way it was before you flashed the mod
NOTE: the script will delete any existing restore zips EVERY TIME you flash a new option, meaning that if you flash the mod again, your original system files will be replace with the file you flash previously!
If you want to have a permanent back up of the original file, you will need to rename the zip inside the ozop folder to whatever, just can't have the same name or it gets replaces everything you flash the mod.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT SELECT THE S7 OPTION UNTIL I POST UPDATE WITH FIX!!! You will bootloop, all others are fine

I didn't include those animation, only because I don't have the files.
If someone wants to send me the framework-res.apk I can add them no problem.

Unfortunately, no, unless someone want to flash each option, take a video screen video, convert it to a gif animated image, upload to a server and share the links here.
It's not possible for a single frame screenshot to show the effect of the animations. If you timed it just right, you could possibly catch an animation in action, but most likely it would be a scrambled up blurry image.
I am way to busy life and other projects to invest that kind of time.
Sorry..
Just flash and play with until you get what is best for you.
If you don't like, flash the stock option and move on.
Thanks for the interest and hope you find one you like.
Good day
Update: I was able to catch the 1 out of the 200 animations in action and with the 3 frames I grabbed with screenshots doesn't give you any idea of what the animation is doing. Lol
Can't say I didn't try...

Use the restore zip and report back to me all details about your device, rom, options you selected etc.
The more details you give the better I can troubleshoot.

It's possible.
This goes for anyone who has requests,
If you want even a possibility of animations from other devices, you will have to do your part by locating the file from that device which holds the animation files (Samsung is named "framework-res.apk"), some device's like HTC have the file named different so you must find and supply me the complete apk file.
At that point I will examine and determine the possibility of compatibility for our devices.
No promises I can do it or that it will be done right away.
Sorry, but I have other priorities that rank higher including my OZOP, "One Zip One Place" project from where I pulled this morning from.
OZOP is my Universal Aroma mod zip which includes many mods like this one, including debloat script, boot/shutdown animations, boot splash image and more!
If there is enough interest, I may consider updating my OZOP romLess project which is essentially the exact same thing c ad my full OZOP, but without the Rom system files making the zip about 800mb less.
All other options from both zip are the same.
Thanks to everyone and enjoy

[Q] Port Gingerbread Animations to CyanogenMod 7

Hey Guys,
I have been running CyanogenMod 7 on my Milestone for a while now, and I love it! But I do think it could do with a little bit more of eye candy. So I was wondering, is there anyway to port the gingerbread window animations to CyanogenMod?
I have tried a few Metamorph tricks, but wasn't successful. I also heard about an app called AnimMod which is supposed to do this, but I cant try it out as I am not allowed to buy paid apps in my country. So, I would be glad if anyone posted a link to a working procedure for changing the window animations.
All windows animations are in the framework-res.apk under the res/anim folder.
You can replace those with the GB animation files and apply again. Please note that you need to replace only those that are there in both the framework files.
[email protected]
Thanks for the answer.
Where can I find the gingerbread animation files? I dont have the gingerbread ROM, so would it be possible to download the files from some place.
Also, I am curious to know, why weren't these animations implemented in the CyanogenMod in the first place. I would have thought most people would appreciate the better animations of Gingerbread.
Edit: I just watched a walkthrough, and it seems that the animations in CyanogenMod are the same as those in Gingerbread. Still, it would be nice to know where I can find some new animation files
Wow I forgot that I put this together.
I named it FlyIn_FlipOut because I combined the Flying animation with the Flip Animation.
I actually spent alot of time on it pinpointing specific things which was a pain in the ass.
Anyway, it's attached.
I hope that somebody thinks that it's neat
I have attached the animation xml files for the following animation effects.
Flip
Fold
Flying
Bounce
Blur
FroyoMOD ( animations found in Luca's FroyoMOD )
All you need to do is to copy it into the folder that i mentioned in the previous post and apply it again.
Thanks Guys.
I need some more info on how to do this thing properly:
1. Where is the framework-res.apk located? I found one in the system/ framework folder but it is named as framerwork-res-mot.apk.
2. How do i change the files? and finally how do i install the apk.
In short, it would be great if you could post the steps to modify CyanogenMod to incorporate the new animations.
@zeppelinrox: Good thing you came across this post then.
Anim mod is an easy way, i use it all the time
note\ require root and busy box installed

Good app. Does what I wanted.
I wud still like to try out zeppelinrox's version of the animation. So could someone pls post how I could do that.

Download the theme updater flashable template zip file from here.
Download and extract the contents of the zip file provided by Zeppe to your desktop.
Your framework-res.apk is in your /system/framework folder. Using 7zip or winzip, open framework-res.apk and replace the animation files in the /res/anim folder.
Copy the framework-res.apk into the /system/framework folder of the theme updater template zip file. Copy the template zip file into openrecovery/updates folder and apply in AOR after wiping dalvik/cache.

[SCRIPT]Random Bootanimation for ics and gingerbread

original thread here i have just made a little bit changes in the packages, tested it on captivate and signed the package
what is random bootanimation:-
random bootanimation is a method of randomizing the splash animation on each boot
Click to collapse
Things required are an ics or gingerbread rom with a kernel which support init.d, and yes patience while mobile is booting because it takes time as script will move animation to its place, tested this on my friend's galaxy s running gamerzrom(gb) and it was working
Caution:- do not use bootanimations more than 15 mb of size, as it will increase boot time too much
Click to collapse
HOW It Works:-
the script runs while booting up of mobile, then it generates a random number for selecting bootanimation, the selected bootanimation is copied from /data/local/bootanimations to /data/local and Android have a preference for /data/local/bootanimation.zip to the one stored by your ROM in /system/media/
if you want to add more animations just copy the animation to /data/local/bootanimations
the name of the animation can be anything but the extension of the animation must be .zip for e.g /data/local/bootanimations/DHLALIT11.zip
Click to collapse
using single animation
love a single animation want to use that just create a file called "bootanimation.use in /data/local/bootanimations and in that file just add the name of the animation you want to use for e.g:- DHLALIT11.zip
Click to collapse
Installation:-
download the package and flash it from cwm recovery
Click to collapse
Downloads
there are two packages
one is the script with 2 basic animations can be found here (2.25mb)
another is with 8 handpicked bootanimationscan be found here (50mb)
Click to collapse
want more bootanimations go to this and this or this page
will also provide a revert package soon
and if you like hit thanks button
hello Mr dhlalit11 thanks for this package it is working really cool have also added more animation will promote it on another forums for sure
hi himanshubanga thanks for testing it on gingerbread
guys now it works on gingerbread

[MOD][AROMA] Universal Rom File Customizer V5

This is a ROM FILE/MEDIA FILE CUSTOMIZER
This has been tested working with the Jan 08 build of AOKP and Latest EuroSkank CM10.1 Builds I used fireb33 stock build for the basis of the stock zip
THIS MOD WILL WORK FOR ANY DEVICE
as it is ROM dependent not DEVICE dependent
AROMA ROM FILE CUSTOMIZER V5(AOKP & CM10.1 & Stock)
V5 - fixed when you skip the rom debloat error and fixed MusicFX app deletion
This mod will allow you to
-remove ANY or ALL commonly removed system apps from your rom
-remove ANY or ALL Alarms, Ringtones sounds, and Notification Sounds!
-remove all live wallpapers (Located in the System app removal section)
-insert whatever sound media file you wish to be inserted into the relevant locations of the rom (Notifications, Alarms or Ringtones)
-Add your own bootanimation zip into the rom by deleting the old bootanimation.zip and inserting your custom bootanimation.zip
-Remove unused Text to Speech languages that you dont require
-Remove the sample videos
-Add system apps and fix their permissions
-Ability to add user apps and fix their permissions
HOW TO USE THE ROM CUSTOMIZER
If you want to add a particular media file (Notification, Ringtone, Alarm Sound) or Bootanimation to your ROM
- Open ROM CUSTOMIZER in winzip/winrar
- Place your particular sound media file (mp3,ogg, etc) into the relevant folder in the zip
- Place your particular bootanimation zip into the bootanimation folder
- Place your particular system or data app into the relevant folder
-Close the ROM CUSTOMIZER zip
-Transfer ROM CUSTOMIZER zip to your phone and reboot to recovery
Now to the Customizing part
- While in your recovery flash the file, aroma installer will begin

I thought I'd mention SystemApp Remover for folks looking to just remove specific apps they don't need. I find it very useful in selectively debloating every time I flash a new ROM.

currently in the process of making an AOKP aroma version similar to this i imagine. that can remove various system apps, whatever ringtones, alarms, notification sounds... and if you choose it can also insert your own ringtones, alarms, notification sounds into the correct locations in the rom in one go.. currently have one simple version that will do the same as custom v0.3c except it wont let manual checking of system/notifications/alarms/ringtones as yet << mainly because I only taught myself how to work with aroma installer this morning
Good work my friend.... Keep it up! Nexus 4 is next on my list of phones to get
AROMA ROM CUSTOMIZER V0.5 (AOKP only at this point)

=================== V3 ===================
Fixed up alot of code in aroma-config and updater-script to make it WAY easier to add features in the future.
Fixed the way the mod handles deleting files from the ROM to make deletions/debloating easier.
Fixed the way the mod manages pushing files to the phone for a quicker process
Fixed and added some icons
Added the ability to push system apps & fix their permissions
Added warning to let user know of their ROM choice before proceeding further
Added the ability to exit the installation on menus screen
I have a small question, the first post mentions this is ROM independent, then why are the updates for certain roms only at times.
is it because of the way they are built or something else.
I know it's a n00b question but just curious.
Great job by the way.
educate me please
thanks a lot trying

The first releases were independent as I could only make each line of code for the ring tones, alarms, notifications and system apps when I went through the rom. Then I released and started work on the next rom and so forth. Once I had finished each rom individually I then taught myself how to code for aroma. Then added each rom and had to rewrite a lot of the earlier scripts to be compatible with aroma then I took the same approach made an aroma zip for each rom then had to work out a way to merge all 3. I then managed to do that and that was my main goal to have a zip that is easy to understand, not just a script that wipes everything but gives you choice and I now have the ability to add features that will apply to all 3 rom so far without needing to worry about compiling each zip individually. Hope this explains it

alright im starting to lose ideas.... anyone who has tried the mod had any problems? or have any suggestions for things they would like to do easily via the recovery?
Sorry if i am in the wrong thread...
Is there anybody know this? Or is there anybody know where to ask this question?
in .zip file (for CWM) there is an updater-script file...
I want to delete some files but i dont want to write the exact names of the files... Is there any way to delete some thing like x*.* or t*.apk or talk*.* etc...
for example if i want to delete all the files which starts with "a" letter... How can i do this?
I know
delete("...");
delete_recursive("...");
commands... But i couldn't find out if there is any way to do this?
Thank you for your answers...

An updater script only has a specific set of instructions that can be run.. see here http://www.freeyourandroid.com/guide/introdution_to_edify
This then is also determined by the update binary (the other file in the same location as the updater-script) - for better set of instructions you should extract one of them from a rom that is made for our nexus
In theory if you set it up you may be able to set something with the ifelse command in an updater-script OR if your good with other types of code you may get what you require using an external .sh to which the updater-script only "runs" which may allow for what you want to do. however i feel personally that it will take a fair while setting up a lot of parameters, etc becasue you will need to make sure you not deleting the wrong apk or file. If you stick to the fundamentals of an updater-script you can easily achieve what you want all you need to know is the name of the apk etc.. and with base roms these apk names will not change so it shouldn't be too much of an issue
Then if you work with AROMA there is a different set of instructions for how stuff needs to be setup for the aroma side, then the updater script needs to be a bit more modified from just a stock updater-script to run from how the aroma code makes output prop files, etc
Thats about the best i got.. other than that you will have to research these other possibilities up or make them up yourself and test until they work.

[V2.7][AROMA][22-1-13] Android Boot Animation Changer [Sense and Non-Sense Support!]

AndroidBoot Animation Changer
I have just made the changing of boot animations easier for everyone!
With this small AROMA script, you won't have to copy and paste or
replace or push things anymore; no more root explorers and computers!
Instructions:
Put the bootanimation.zip of your choice into the root of the downloaded zip
(you will have to replace the one already inside) and flash it in your recovery! Its that easy!
For changing of boot animation audio (only HTC Sense supported currently), put the android_audio.mp3
of your choice into the root of the downloaded zip (you will have to replace the one already inside too)
Inside the AROMA Installer, make sure you choose the two options correctly (Phone with or without HTC Sense)
because it not only changes the theme but also determines where the boot animations is.
If you do not have a qHD device, DO NOT flash this directly without changing the bootanimation.zip inside it first. I put a
qHD HTC boot animation inside, so if your phone's screen size isn't qHD, it will look quite ugly.
Sharing policy:
You are allowed to share this ZIP and/or any part of it as long as money is not involved (e.g. selling).
If you are a boot animation maker, you are allowed to put your boot animation in this ZIP and
share it, but you will have to mention me or my brother's name (KaiJun or kaienchua971, relatively)
and/or post a link to this very page.
Download link:
In the attachments below
Changelog:
V2.7 Minor update
Added busybox into the zip. No need for busybox on your system anymore!
V2.6 Minor update
Added ability to backup boot animation sound for Sense ROMs (Requires busybox on your phone. Will fix that in the next update)
V2.5 Minor Update
Added ability to backup boot animation (option in AROMA. Requires busybox on your phone. Will fix that in the next update, after V2.6)
Added ability to replace boot animation audio for HTC Sense devices (just place android_audio.mp3 into the root of the ZIP, like the bootanimation.zip)
V2.0 Major Update
Added AROMA Installer!
Added support for non-HTC Sense devices
V1.0
Initial release
V1.0 can only be found in the HTC Sensation forums because it had only support for phones with HTC Sense

Instructions-
-TO FLASH PIXEL 2 BOOT ANIMATION-
Just download the appropriate boot animation and flash through any custom recovery. If you dont have one, use apps like flashify to get the job done.
-TO BACKUP YOUR CURRENT BOOT ANIMATION-
Through a root file manager, go to /system/media and change bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.zip.bak and then flash whichever pixel 2 boot zip you fancy.
-TO RECOVER BACKED UP BOOT ANIMATION-
Again through a root file manager, go to /system/media and delete bootanimation.zip. Now rename bootanimation.zip.bak to bootanimation.zip.

EDIT- Boot+Splash project is dead for now, due to studies and lack of time. I may make new ones for the new devices I get, or for any new bootanimations released by google.

Dark boot animation V3
Nexus 5x
I manually copied into media and rebooted and worked (the name of the zip is bootanimationd.zip so I renamed it without the d ).

Just extract the bootanimation zip of the flashable to /system/media (you need a root explorer to do that). Don't forget to create a backup of the previous bootanimation.
If you're using the dark version, rename the file to bootanimation.zip (without the "d")

That's the procedure to use the bootanimation, but I was asking for the bootlogo (the still image that appears before the bootanimation). Generally, if you unlocked your bootloader, the bootlogo becomes a warning sign, so you can replace it with a custom bootlogo.
Hi there, is there any magisk version to be flashed? Thanks! Great bootanimation.
