Idol 4S Sim tray - Alcatel Idol 4S Questions & Answers

Can anyone eject their sim tray and take a photo of the inside? Mine is straight up stuck (feels like the press-ejector lever thing is depressed but the tray is not moving).
Picture would help to see if there is anyway to get this thing out before I heat up the back glass and give it a go. (micro sd and nano sim are in there)

HD7 Sim Card Error & Low Space Error

Good day folks
Have anyone encountered a sim card error or an internal storage error (low disk space) on your HD7s ?
And what solutions did you find or attempt?
I think I found one solution for this issue. But would like to see first if anyone beside me got this problem.
Regards,
Xeno
I also encountered sim card error. But no space error.
How did you managed to fix sim card error?
In order to fix this I had to unscrew the warranty sticker, so this means your warranty will be gone. (If you care about the warranty at this point anyway)
You need to follow Wolfman017 guide to upgrade the SD card, but you will need to take it up a notce.
You will need to remove the whole back of the phone, until you see the phone's board.
Once your remove the whole back, notice right above where you insert your sim card. There should be small black piece which connects the sim slot to the board.
Use your fingernails to pull it up gently. Then press it back down with your finger until it clicks properly. A bit of force but not too much.
Once done no need to assemble the whole phone yet. Just put the back cover and sim card, place back the battery and test.
Hopefully this fixes the issue.
Let me know how it goes for you. If it does take a couple of pictures of the process and post them in the thread.
Regards,
Xeno
Hello.
I have same problem. Can you make some photo of this process?

Excellent job mr Xenohart i confirm this work 100%

MicroSImCard doesnt Fit, help plz!

Hey,
just got my Z1 yesterday, everything runs fine. Expect I cant fit the Micro Sim Card into the Slot -,-. WTF. I tried it several times and it's always stuck and i cant close the cover of the Micro Sim Card Slot. I got a delicate dissecting forceps with which I can pull it out again, but seriously, if it doesnt work im going to get the Samsung S4 Active.
EDIT: OFC Im using the MicroSim "Adapter" which is integrated in the MicroSIM slot!
Never had such problems with any phone yet...
Any advice/ experience?
Thx in advance,
TCIG
Are you trying to put it in the sd card slot?
The sim card slot is on the opposite side to the charger slot.
I also found it has to go in just one way and it goes in easily. If you have to force it, turn it round or turn it over
Its all there in the instruction booklet you got with the phone

Thx for ur answer. Im not trying to put it in te sd card slot. Micro Sim Slot it right upper the Power Button. Unfortunately the instruction booklet doesnt help me, because im following the instructions just like displayed.
Thx Anyway, maybe its just problem of the phone as it doesnt slides in easily...
Heading for an S4 active, because I think it fits my hands better, still its more fragile...
Okkk, the fool speaks again: I rly got it to put it in the wrong way! The thick end of the SIM card adapter should be head to the top of the phone. I always put it in to the bottom of the phone -,-.
Thank u gregbradly, u rly helped me .
So typical for me...

[Q] Is there anyway to get the SIM card out?

The SIM card tray in my HTC First is stuck and even with a removal tool I can not get it out. Does anyone know how to get it out or how I may be able to take the phone apart and get it out?

1. Try using a needle or something strong but thin to use instead of the removal tool
2. Try prying the slot open with a small and think knife. or "flat" screw driver. anythign really small but strong enough to pry it open.
i couldn't figure out how the tool worked so i lodged a paperclip end under the slot and pulled it out

(Guide) How to use a Nano Sim Card in the Galaxy S5 Micro Sim tray.

DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK, I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE THAT IS DONE IF YOU DO THIS.
First i want to start saying that i fully don't recommend this since it can mess up connectors that connect to the sim card if you do mess up. Always use the recommend size sim if you can, in the instance like me where you have to pay a fee for a new SIM, this is a viable option.
This is basically the same way you would use a Nano SIM in a Note 2 or S4. It works, the only problem i have had is sometimes if it is bumped too hard (sometimes even a gentle bump can cause it) it will knock it up into the tray and make it read like a sim card is not there and in extreme cases will get stuck in the tray and trying to get it out will cause the sim connectors to break, if this does happen ill explain how to do it without breaking the sim tray. Ill include a picture of how it is suposed to sit in the tray, ill upload pictures shortly along with a video.
1) As always make sure the device is fully off and the battery is removed.
2) Gently insert the Nano SIM into the tray making sure you have it lined up to the far right of the tray.
3) Slowly insert the SIM card into the tray making sure it stays to the right and straight until it is flush with the end of the plastic part of the SIM tray.
4) Turn on and see for your self.
(Optional) I used a small amount of masking tape and once the sim card was inserted i taped it tightly down attached to the Battery so it wont jut up or to the left when bumped.
If the Sim gets stuck just find something that is thin hard plastic, for me i used a clear plastic dixie up and cut it slightly less wide than the sim tray is and longer and slid it in under the SIM card and then used a very small sewing needle to fetch the sim card out. like i said i HIGHLY dont recommend this at all since it can break the sim tray.
Or get a cheap 5$ pack of sim card inserts...

A lot of nano Sim adapters can rip the connectors, it's a common thing I've been reading across the forums for the note 3 and s5

[Q] Help: Sim card/tray will not stay put.

I have an annoying problem with my One that I really hope someone can help me fix:
After taking out my sim card, I cannot put it back in and make it stay put. I put the sim card in the tray, put the tray in the slot, but it is like the spring/mechanism that pushes the tray out (when pushing a pin in the tray openerhole) got stuck, and I cannot make the tray stay put. Hence I have to keep the tray/sim card in place with a piece of gaffa tape... And that doesn't even work well, as - appart from looking silly - the spring/mechanism pushes the tray harder than the tape can hold after a few days.
I searched a lot for a solution to this problem, but it doesn't seem to be normal.
Anybody? Please.

Sorry, I don't know of a fix. It sounds like your lock mechanism is broken which is a hardware fix.
Maybe, you can find a case that forms around the phone and it would or should hold the card tray in place.
Call HTC Service Center to see if they have a solution.

Thanks. I'll look for a case. Though the phone is big enough as it is. I'll ask at my local HTC-shop as well.

as a temp solution you could just use a small piece of clear tape
