I was just browsing for Rooting methods, For Most of Xperia's, Kingroot works on rooting 5.0 version.
Try it out.

What differences have you noticed with the single chip version concerning development, unlocking, etc? I want this phone, but can't find the single sim version in Brazil
Beware while unlocking bootloader. The my Xperia app must be deactivated before unlocking. See Google for details

Unlock Sim Slot/Rooting

I was wondering if it is possible to unlock this sim slot for any carrier use? Also, is there a better root method than this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-s2/help/guide-how-to-root-salaxy-tab-s2-t817t-t3383736
Considering it's based on 5.1.1, Im currently on 6.0.1 and have little luck in finding any other method. I'm not sure this method would even work considering its 5.1.1.
All help appreciated! Thank you!
