There's an article that came out that sounded like the issue is that Nougat optimizes apps in the background whereas Marshmallow optimized at the start. Sounds like it's a issue somewhere in that change.

Nougat uses lazy ART caching, it only caches apps when it needs to, when you clear the cache it will only recache apps used at boot and the rest are cached in the background. This was already possible on Marshmallow just worked terribly and slowed the device down a lot. The official implementation is much better and not a hindrance to the system. The reason xposed is not nougat yet is how drastically ART changed in nougat and that is one of the changes yes

Not even gpe, points for trying though

Oh cool I don't even have to trip Knox with this method, thanks a bunch. .. just tried it working flawlessly. .I feels bad for the people that pay anywhere from $600 to $700 for the Google edition. .. thank you so much!

The image that is credited to XDA is the feature image of the Android with working tools only. This framework has not been posted anywhere other than to the small private beta group. Once the developer is happy that enough progress has been made I understand that the next step will be a public beta and that will probably be posted on XDA.
Xposed is awful and the time to port it to Lollipop is pathetic. It's about time something new came out.

Pretty disrespectful, maybe research the challenges of bringing xposed to ART before posting such things.

Not all of Xposed is good thats my meaning too, but one or the other good module there,of course, lies in the eye of the beholder
But if you think it's awful, it may not really matter how long you will take. Never forget, we all do things here in the spare time and it takes so much time how it takes

You have an app creating it. Figure out which app it is and get rid of it or deal with the folder.

Nice job...I didn't ask the initial question, but hopefully your find will help the inquiring party.
At the moment, I'm not on Slim, though I am watching their progress daily.
Unfortunately, I didn't see a solution to the posted question. The Android Central link had a guy posting that he was afraid that someone was monitoring his device. The xda thread appeared to have a few posts referencing the issue, but I didn't read far enough for a solution.
Anyway, I hope this issue gets resolved.

I'm still thinking that the dude that thinks his better half is electronically stalking him provided the most likely explanation.
Didn't William of Occam posit that the most likely explanation is that which is the most cumbersome and borne from madness?

Pixel ROM for Nexus 6

Hate to be that guy asking devs for anything but pretty pretty please can we haz a straight Pixel ROM for our Nexus 6.
Sent from my Nexus 6
I don't think you're going to see one. The closest you'll get is to port the Pixel's 32-bit apps over to the Nexus 6, since none of the Pixel's 64-bit firmware will work on our device.
Oh man, I'd love to see that too! Sadly, I don't think it's possible. Could be wrong, development never ceases to amaze me
They've always amazed me as well, hopefully one of them has a lot of love for this device and can figure it out

To make a 32bit app of a closed source 64bit app? No love is enough to achieve that.
So if you want Pixel on you Nexus, you'll have to buy a 64bit phone, either the 5X or the 6P.
Oh well I never keep devices long anyways. Just wishful thinking/pissing in the wind

A Rom like this one Would be perfect????
And they can do that because they have a 64-bit processor in the 5X. We don't. We should however be seeing a developer preview of Android 7.1.1 drop soon for us, with the finished product to follow.
Wow Having a nexus and asking for a ported rom is like having a Mustang but wanting to put a pinto engine in it.

While I don't personally see the need for overclocking, I also personally don't see the need for a suburban resident to own a hellcat. But what the heck does "need" matter when a car looks and performs like that? I say GO BABY GO!!! ??? Overclock that bad boy!!!! ???
