Need Radio / Firmware with VoLTE Support - OnePlus 3T Questions & Answers

As title said, anyone can share OnePlus 3T , modem/radio and firmware which supports VoLTE in INDIA i.e for JIO..
Need it urgently , I have USA (North America) variant , currently VoLTE is not supported but 850 band is picking up fine.. Need help in this..

I got the 3T (US) on Tuesday and after upgrading it to Nougat, I could not get VoLTE and the SMSC configuration to work.
I tried different roms all with the same result. Going back to MM/OOS 3.5.4, VoLTE and SMSC settings did work instantly again.
So the firmware/modem is obviously broken.
Did you try a MM rom/firmware?
Later: Oneplus support stated the following on my report that Nougat OOS 3.5.4 breaks VoLTE, Wifi calling and SMSC setup:
"I highly suggest staying with the 3.5.4 update as of this moment. Our developer team is still working on it and we will make sure that the next update will fix these bugs."

First Android mobile after years of iOS - bitter experience. Such well talked about mobile and a pain in the a**. How can an upgrade plug a capability already available and make it a brick?

I had trouble with the OOS 4.0.3 and went back to the MM firmware, yesterday installed the 4.1.3 and no modem problems, LTE, VoLTE and VoWIFI in TMO US network run fine.

In PL we can only dream about TMobile delivering VoLTE to OnePlus devices :^)

Redmi 4X(Global variant) VoLTE BUG in Nougat Miui

Hello ,
I am Ashwani Singh From India
I Own a Redmi 4X global variant imported from a global website.
So when I was using it on Miui8 Marshmallow VoLTE was working like charm
But when nougat came for it I updated to nougat and VoLTE got disabled
Now here in India the main 4g network (Jio) require VoLTE for calling feature and I m not able to use VoLTE on miui based on nougat.
Other Redmi 4 (Indian variant) users have no VoLTE problem on Nougat miui roms they enjoy the VoLTE feature flawlessly
Note:- when I roll back to miui 8 marshmallow , I get VoLTE back.
Methods I have tried till now to get VoLTE on Nougat miui are :-
APN reset
Factory reset
Used code (*#*#86583#*#*)
Used code (*#*#4636#*#*)

Will custom (Oreo or any) ROM erase newly patched LTE bands?

I was successfully able to add Band 2 and 4 to my Shamu 1100 EU version today, which is great. However, I had a question for anyone with more know how and expertise than me.
Will flashing custom ROM get rid of the newly patched/acquired bands? I loved being on Nitrogen OS but had to revert to stock 7.1.1 before I could add those bands. While I am currently on LTE (with MINT Sim/Purple), I would love to know if flashing any custom rom would revert me to H+?
Update: Figured it out!! "Updated"/newly added bands aren't lost upon flashing custom ROMs AFTER the fact. Anytime interested has to make sure that
a) revert to Google stock, use the QPST and Motorola Diagnostic tool kit to add (necessary) bands, then root again, and the rest
b) I'm on Nitrogen OS May 8 build. Everything working flawlessly, with LTE at speeds up to 7 Mbps (prepaid on Mint) in my area on my XT1100

T-Mobile Volte & WiFi Calling on custom ROMs?

Running Phh-treble (Android 9 Pie stock based ROM) on my T-Mobile Moto E5 plus (Hannah) and it's great. But I had T-Mobile WiFi calling and Volte on stock ROM, and they don't work on Phh-treble.
Is there any way to get T-mobile WiFi calling and Volte working on Phh-treble? Or on any other custom ROMs (lineage os, etc.)?
I've searched around and done quite a bit of reading, maybe WiFi calling and Volte can be enabled by pulling some system/priv-app(s) from the stock rom and integrating them into the custom ROM system? Not sure which one(s) would have the carrier configurations though. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!
I believe I read in one of the threads there was a magisk module that did it.
But I can't seem to find the thread now.
Check the magisk module " VoEnabler". Although they say it needs work, like nobody has had any success so far.

Looking for Working VoLTE Mod for Unlocked Note 9

Shortcut Master was a Great tool in order to turn on VoLTE/Calling Plus Beta on Sprint.
After Upgrading from the Note 8 to the Note 9 I Loved being able to be on a Phonecall and being able to use the Internet.
All was fine until Android Pie Update.
The same day I downloaded the OTA Android 9/Pie Update and Installed it on My Unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 9, VoLTE Stopped and was disabled.
I have been looking for a Guaranteed Working MOD to Pie in order to get VoLTE to work.
Is there Anyone that Can Help with Detailed Instructions with Screenshots in order to Help in the Process of getting VoLTE Working on the Note 9 running Android Pie?
The only way is to flash back to Oreo. It's what I did with my unlocked Note 9, and Shortcut Master allowed me to retain data whole on a call. This is essential since I'm never near WiFi at work these days.

I Downgraded and Blocked Automatically Download Updates.
i have a unlocked sprint Note 9 & after pie update there is no VoLTE now. (I am trying to use it on JIO network in India).
Is there a way to Install Other Global ROM instead of Sprint ROM so that VoLTE can naturally be activated & not hidden or disabled ?

How can you tell if VoLTE is on? For U1 stock firmware, there is no VoLTE in settings.

No settings to tinker. I was using jio volte app first. After 2 days, native volte was active after an update. (April security version).

I found a way to temporarily get it to work. have to do each time you wanna make a call or recieve a call in hd. If you turn on wifi calling and wifi. Make a call and turn wifi of. Hd calling and data will stay enabled for that call. have to do each each time you call. Must have an active internet connection when enabling wifi.

Dual Sim Active Dual Volte Santoni

Hi Guys,
I need to use two Jio sims in my device. Both active simultaneously. Does anybody know how to achieve this?
Right now, even if you keep both sims enabled, only one of them is, technically, active. The other one comes as switched off and vice versa.
Currently, I use RR Nougat (version 5.8.5) with Magisk. No custom kernel.
I don't know whether this is a hardware limitation in Santoni or this can be solved by a newer Android version based ROM or maybe by some other method.
Please guide. TIA.
P.S.: For guys, who might be unaware of Jio, Jio network utilises VoLTE for communication over its network. It's an only 4G network.

No It doesn't support 2 4g sims. When u r using two sims, It only supports one 4g sim at a time other goes to 2g.
So is this a hardware limitation?
I read some manufacturers like Samsung are enabling this via OTA update...
Can this be resolved somehow by any other ROM?
