Do u have the system dump as instructed by Meticulus to return back to stock?
Flash a official recovery and download a official update file and update by holding the right buttons

I can never find the official rom for Nem-L21 or official recovery. I tried to Nem-L22 (india version, Android 6.0.1), but failed ... I flash recovery for Nem-L22 and the firmware file UPDATE.APP move to a folder "dload" on the SD card, but crashed on 5%.
now downloading stock rom (Bulgarian version, EMUI 4.1, Android 6.0), I'll try as soon as the download (about 5 hours), but i dont have a official recovery for Nem-L21
if you can change to Nem-L21 or something else, not against it, but I want to EMUI original firmware to my phone.

Just use huawei update extractor, and extract the update app. There u will find recovery.img. Simply extract that and flash it.

Don't use DC pheonix. Use the OTA update from the phone.
Im using ota phone... (Enginner mode) and 3 buttons method... The Nougat file FAIL'S at 6%
Abd yes i put UPDATE.APP in DLOAD
Yes its the 7.0 versions... I extracted the buildprop from that update app (i dont install it on my phone !)

the file it's for C432 and C900 VNS-L31... yes it's correct... no tested factory reset... (and in this moment dislike the factory reset option)

Update.app failed at 6℅ can't get past it. I have tried a few times already.

The update.app has more files to be flashed.
yes... but in recovery it's impossible to flash anyone of other files... only system, boot, recovery and cust...
i flashed all files of update.app in DC Phoenix v22, and dont boot... (no boot OS, and no boot RECOVERY)
in fasboot/dc phoenix, no flash EFI.IMG... but yes fastboot.img and XLOADER.IMG, EFI dont flash... i dont know the reason

it's possible or... in the firmware finder it's marked OTA... not FULL
example the leak from P9 it's marked FULL no OTA...
it's possible there a "full ROM and REAL" but... there a OTA for other version C900B156 for example... or other... i don't know...
for correct installation it's needed the FULL package... but in the update.app are ALL FILES for "full" ... it's extrange...

You need to download full firmware for your phone version. Put it on sdnin dload folder then turn off the phone completely. After that volume up and down together (no power button). It should install the whole system again. If I remember correctly all steps :silly:

Close enough. Actually, you have to press volume up, down AND the power button to install the firmware.
The whole process is the following :
- Use Huawei Firmware Finder to find the correct ROM to install on your device and download it. Be sure to download the correct file corresponding to your firmware/build version. This is VERY important.
- Plug your Honor 5C to your computer and create a dload folder to the root of your internal storage.
- Extract the archive you got from Huawei Firmware Finder and put the update.app file in the dload folder.
- Now put your phone off and back on by pressing simultaneously volume up, down and power button altogether. That should take care of that soft brick of yours and reinstall the whole system.
After that, you should be good to go.

Unfortunately, I don't know about beta update, sorry. Maybe you can download your previous firmware from HFF (the one you had before the beta) and then get back the Nougat update from where you got it in the first place.
By the way, are you sure that Nougat is supported by your device ? Apparently the beta is for some firmware variants only.

Are these lollipop or mm ROMs can I extract an mm recovery and pit it on a lollipop recovery?
The full ones are marshmallow roms. You could try working with one from MM or one from a ALE-L21 ROM, but I have not tested if it works

I don't think you can flash them with locked bootloader, but maybe you can because they're stock. hmmm. Anyway, here's the recovery from ALE-L21C432B602, which is the latest MM build.
I've tried searching for the stock rom for this phone for 2 days now, i just cannot find one.
i've tried to use custom roms, but only one that worked was this (https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-5c/development/elite-rom-nougat-builds-cxxbxxx-t3635413) but it didnt have audio for some reason.

I'm having problem with flashing nougat on my NEM-L21C432B132. I'm on 6.0 at the moment and I used both dload folder on sdcard method and Firmware Finder. Tried different versions and I keep getting warning saying "incompatibility with current version". How do I solve this ?
I have no root, stock recovery, unlocked bootloader. I thought it could be because of unlocked BL, but I cannot seem to lock it as "fastboot oem lock" doesn't work for me.

Can I just install TWRP and flash the .zips I get from extracting the update.app file ?

You can download full firmware from honor official site according to your model and build number..and then try to flash..

It is in .zip format but I extract it and put the update.app into dload folder. I will try to download from honor official site and let you guys now if there's any progress.
EDIT: just had a look on the website. There's no firmware for Honor 5C there. Can anyone point me how can I make nougat work and where do I download the right files ?

You dont need to relock boot loader for ota..or upgrade..
All you have to be on stock recovery

I have extracted the update.app from the 6.0 version, flashed boot.img and recovery.img through fastboot, and my phone found the update even without using the Firmware Finder..strange but I have downloaded it and flashed without problems. My bootloader didn't even lock after flashing which happens from what I've read. Anyway I'm on the newest firmware ATM and also it's rooted. Maybe someone can explain that in case anyone had a similar problem in the future ?

What was the size of OTA? If it was 300-400 MB then it would not harm for bootloader or recovery

OTA normally doesn't lock bootloader. Have seen this in my 5X.
