14400000.fimd_fb kernel wakelocks - BetterBatteryStats

Does anyone know what causes 14400000.fimd_fb wakelock? Killing the battery on my S5 but can't find info on it online.

I also want to know and the other process called power service manager display battery drains very fast without using it

Power service manager display is the total wakelock of all the apps or services that are running on your phone. That's why the percentage is high. In order to findthe culprit for the drain go to Partial Wakelocks and check which app or service is draining your juice and try to fix it.

Phone Runs at 51Mhz while charging

after update to V20a Euro Open, when i put to charge my phone at nights, it's never get fully charge, i use CPU Spy and notice that the phone, runs at 51Mhz all night, i installed BetterBatteryStats, but i don't see none application running overnight, how can i do to know what is using CPU at that speed? obviously the phone doesn't enter to deep sleep mode, but when is not charging, the phone enter in deep sleep mode normally
When it is charging it can`t enter in deep sleep because its working on 51Mhz(charger produces that frequency..)
Are you telling me that is normal? Even when the battery only reach about 95% of fully charge? When i had v20a leak that behavior never happens

How do you mean the batt only reaches 95%? You can`t fully charge your battery?
That's right, rhe phone runs all night at 51Mhz

Yeah, but with the phone running at 51Mhz, it should be able to charge completely.
Even running at a higher speed, i.e. browsing the web, playing some lighter games. It might not be the healthiest thing for your battery, but it shouldn't impede a full charge.

well but that is the problem i'm trying to find a way to know what process are running when the phone is charging and i can't find an app that show me that, the only thing that calls my attention was Audiut2 Wakelock i thought that is the problem, but i was reading and some foros says that wakelock is normal when you use some sounds like the screens sounds or lock or unlock sounds, or something like that
You have to do a dumpfile with BBS. Allow all root access and thick all options in advances settings. Leave the phone over night and in the morning do a dumpfile..

Other stats, partial wakelocks stats, and kernel wakelocks stats are automatically checked. Go into advanced settigns, there everything is checked except "private storage" and "enable while charging". Charge your phone, leave it over night,in the morning do a file dump. you have a share icon at the top, click it and then share as text dumpfile..And then you post it on XDA!

Battery usage will depend on your rom too
For example battery life on 4.3 is way better than 4.1.2
Some tips which i can give are
1.never turn off stamina mod
2.make your rom bloatware free
3.use 2g more than 3g whenever needed
4.many people say that not to use app freezers and hibernators because they drain battery
But i use greenify and disable service apps
The battery life without these apps is almost the same but stil i use them.
It helps a bit
5.always keep a check on the roots of battery drainage through wakelock detector and betterbatterystats apps
If anyone finds anything wrong in the above please mention
I would like to know the right way from you

Mobile Dock Power Saving Mode Not Working

Hi all- Lately I have been getting terrible battery drain when my tablet sleeps while docked. I noticed that even though I have the Asus custom option for Mobiledock power saving mode enabled it does not work. I remember with my T101 I would have to enable, disable, and reenabel but that does not work. If I sleep the tablet and press any key on the dock it wakes. I suspect this is since the last recent update as the problem also seems to have started recently. My tablet is completely stock and not rooted yet.
Anyone else notice this?
Thanks
Moderater- Sorry, I was doing search on this and thought I was still in the question/troubleshooting forum. You might want to move this thread. mm

Wakelock manager is not working properly on my system. When I try to perform any action I just get a message that says "unable to perform requested action at this time, try again later." That said, it did open to the CPU wakelock page that was sorted by duration. The top of the list was Avast Mobile Security with a duration of only 9secs. I'm guessing that does not pose much of a problem.
I previously have BatteryStats Plus installed. It also is no longer working and is constantly crashing but I have been checking it since the battery drain problem started. It has a page for "potentially draining apps" that I am guessing also has to do with wakelocks. It has always reported that there are "no potentially draining apps"
What I also need to do, and should have tried already, is to sleep the tablet without the dock and see how the battery holds up.
I do know that the Asus Custom Setting for Mobiledock Battery Saving Mode is not working. Any key on the dock will still wake the tablet with this enabled. I suspect this is the problem. I should mention that I also have the tablet in Ultra Battery Saving Mode.
Can anyone with the latest update installed tell me if the Mobiledock Battery Saving Mode in setting under the Asus Custom Settings is working for them?
Thanks

Sounds like your device is not sleeping at all so you need to find out why - which wake lock detector or better battery stats would do - so you need to get a logcat of why they are not working
Sounds like you have major issues to me....

Well I know from the reviews that Better Battery Stats has been crashing for a lot of folks. A logcat is a good idea. Maybe it's time to finally root and flash a new rom as well. Thanks
I have no significant drain with tablet sleeping when not docked. This is similiar to early problems with the TF101.
Is anyone else having dock draining issues? Is the dock power saving mode working for anyone?

battery drain, data drain, everything drain, plus charge screen different

I assume that this is due to the update. I have drain of data (I called and harassed Sprint) and battery, but also recently I noticed a different screen when I wake up my phone for charging. I don't want that screen. It has an ad on it - what is that?

You downloaded a third party lockscreen or battery saver that has a lockscreen, probably by CM. Those apps use your mobile data to download ads and also prevent the phone to get in deep sleep mode, resulting in both data and battery drains. Delete it and it will probably solve most of your issues.
And please next time bring more info + a screenshot of what's happening (the lockscreen in this case) if you want precise help. Good luck

Poor Battery Life - HELP!

So, over the last week, I have noticed such poor battery life. My battery is not performing as it once did.
I recently downloaded Power Shade, so I decided to disable it (not uninstall it). It's not listed in the Play Store at this time.
I have noticed that Android System uses a lot of my battery, while my battery life drops like a rock while I have my screen on. I never have my screen brightness passed 25% (and it is usually less).
Please take a look at these screenshots. What is going wrong?

Well, I turned on Power Shade and left my phone untouched for one hour. My battery dropped 5%.
Then, I turned it off and left my phone alone for another hour and it went down only 2%.
So, that's the culprit?
I'm not sure if your battery drain is regarding normal usage or standby time.
If it's a standby drain, I would suggest installing Naptime app from the playstore. Grant the permissions via ADB, your standby battery life would be great.
I've experienced a really good battery mileage after installing the app.
Make sure you enable to aggressive doze option and keep the app out of power save or the sleeping apps option.
Also, try turning off Location and see if Android System percentage goes down.

The naptime app is a piece of cake if you have root access, if your phone is not rooted, the app will suggest some steps you can follow to allow it function properly. For the non-root method, you will require a computer and ADB (Android Debug Bridge) to be installed in the computer.
If you kept location service to battery saving then maybe it might help save battery juice.

I think I will stick with the Location setting change.
I'm also finding TuneUp Master Pro to be helping.
What do you think of BetterBatteryStats?
Later today, I can post screenshots.
Right now, I am at 63% battery left with 2 hours of screen time. (Note, much of this has been with super low battery brightness.)

Hey,
I think TuneUp Master Pro might help you, I haven't actually used BetterBatteryStats.
But I saw your screenshot, one thing I noticed is that you keep bluetooth switched on (Android Wear)?, If so then I think maybe that is your issue (I'm saying this cause I have a Gear 2 connected to my Note8, when the device is connected it takes some amount of battery). Try to use your device without bluetooth for maybe 1 day and see if there is any improvement in Battery Life and Screen On Time.
I would suggest other basic options like:
1. Turning off Location when you don't need it
2. Turning off Bluetooth
3. Turning off Mobile Data (or keeping the network mode to 3G/2G)
4. Delete useless apps, if you have apps like BetterBatterStats, I think they can monitor app data and battery usage.
5. Goto Settings>Device Maintenance>Battery, scroll down till the end and select "always sleeping apps", select apps that you want only to wake up when you open the apps. Go back and remove useless or unwanted apps under the unmonitored apps section (This option is right before the always sleeping apps one).
Also try doing a cache clear from Android Recovery (Be Careful when selecting the options):
1. Turn off your phone
2. Hold the Volume Up, Bixby and Power Button simultaneously until you see the boot screen, as soon as you see that screen release your fingers from the buttons
3. Once the recovery options come, use your volume buttons to move up and down, and the power button to select an option.
4. press volume down and select the clear cache option, press the power button, use the volume down button again to select "Yes" and press the power button.
5. It will clear Cache
6. Restart your, its the first option in the menu.
This might helps the phone clear cache files and maybe fix your battery issue.
It would also be good if you install this app, after installing goto the "Personal" tab and check if your battery health is good, mine is 91%. You should also be in that range or maybe 80%. If the percentage is bad then maybe I think you would require a battery replacement. Correct me if I am wrong guys, but just a suggestion.
One more thing, is your phone rooted or having a custom rom?, if yes I suggest to try Naptime and other rooted battery saving apps like Greenify.
If not then I think you and me will have to hope that Android 9.0 Pie would have some improvement, sadly I have been a Samsung user for 4 to 5 years, this isn't usually the case with Samsung OS updates .
Based on this, I don't think I have anything rogue going on, do you?
(Notice that I didn't use my phone at all during this time, nor did I leave home.)
OK, I have attached stats for my phone from today.
Please take a look.
When not using my phone, my battery only dropped about 2% per hour, which is great. But when my screen was on, I seemed to have lost a lot of power. I can't even get 4 hours of screen on time.
What would cause tis to happen? I barely have my screen brightness at 20%.
Does this tell you more? It shows battery usage with cell phone signal.
(I was off Wi-Fi for about the last 6 hours of the day.)
Does this show a slower battery drop with a better signal?

Chrome and facebook drain lot compared to others. Are you putting them (and others) to sleep using device management? Also, 2.7% drain per hour isn't fantastic. You can drop that to approx 1% if you tame enough things on your phone.

2% per hour for rooted phone is very bad. In 10 hours you loose 20% battery, looks very bad too. If you open the 4g you loose 40%. I loose 2% every 10 hours and i have 95% kernel deep sleep. Your System have big drain in first picture. Debloat your rom and fix your bad wakelocks with amplify and with appops. Possible change your rom and your kernel if you are not rooted. If you are not rooted god bless you, or read the xda threads to learnd about the phones. All your apps have very bad wakeup issues. This apps run all the time and dont leave the phone to sleep. You use malware bytes into android.... the linux is not windows 10. You dont need this crap apps.
