Please if any one can help me bring back to life my p9.
sorry for my English.

There are several guides here how to get your P9 working again from such a state. Which have you tried?
Especially this is short and to the point: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=71195544&postcount=4
Please be more verbose as to what you have done and which error messages and behaviour you see. That will enable others to understand what might be happening and how to help you.

Hi
I was in same situation, can't go to recovery, boot non stop on Huawei logo and I save my phone with DC Phoenix. You have to pay 15€ but that work perfectly

Easy
Follow the tutorial and don't forget to remove the sd card before starting

Help - Ascend P7-L10 Locked Soft Bricked

Hi there,
recently, I tried updating my phone to B609, following a certain website's guide.
and upon finishing it, it showed the following attachment.
I have tried following almost all I can to revert it, but sadly, it does not work. and, it was a very stupid decision of me to try and update it, full-knowingly that I have a rather obsolete knowledge regarding this.
Can someone please help me, I am really sorry to have bothered the visitors of this forum, and if my thread is not in it's place, please guide me to find a proper place to help me with my phone.
Thank you

Please wait confirmation from more experienced users than me but what I would have done if I were you:
1 - Try to unlock the bootloader. For that there are tutorials here in XDA: http://forum.xda-developers.com/ascend-p7/general/guide-unlock-bootloader-p7-l10-oem-t3062851
2 - With unlocked bootloader you should be able to flash a new rom!
Hope it helps!

Thanks for the reply friend. I really appreciate it.
Regarding the unlock bootloader, following the tutorial that you have greatly linked to, it says in one of the step it to select a device. But, I did not see any mention of Ascend P7, or for that matter, I'm not aware of another given name for Ascend P7, so, which one should I choose or any selected device would be fine?
Thank you again for taking time to help me. Much appreciated.

As it is said in the tutorial you should modify the values of the list in order to include our phone model (step 3 and following...).

By the way I've never tried a JIG so any feedback on it would be nice!

Hi,
i guess you have to unlock your bootloader per dload again. You can force an local update by pressing power and volume plus/minus at the same time.
Is the bootloader unlocking local update based on emui2.3? If so, you'd had to downgrade to emui 2.3 (B1xx).
To do so: Flash the downgrade packages(B8xx) first, after that the full rom(B6xx) , then the next downgrade package(B6xx) and the next rom(B1xx).
Probably your phone will boot after the first full rom flash. If it does, you could get the numbers you need, and unlock per fastboot.

Yes, you could just put the update file into a folder named 'dload' in the root directory of your sd card.

You could try to boot to recovery pressing power and volume-. Does the battery charge then? I'd try myself, but my mum got my P7.. If it doesn't work you may try this script: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1658084. And if that all fails you could purchase a new battery as your final option.
Please don't try to charge your phone externally. Handling with LiOn-batterys without knowing exactly what you do could be quite dangerous.

There are no custom roms for lollipop, unfortunately. So you have to stick with the stock one.

You should find the link in here. If I remember right b166 is a full rom but read the thread first the info is in there.
Sorry those links aren't working, try http://m.huawei.com/ukmobile/ and near the bottom is a download tab, think the rom you are after is there

Update: U mean L19 not L09 my bad!
I just clicked that link and got the same as you. If you go on www.huawei.com, click on the consumer tab near the top of the page, when the next page loads click on the pic on of p9, scroll down to support which is near the bottom and the download tab is there

Can't you use L09 then OTA update and you get L19?
Thanks very much but it doesn't work on my phone. I think i have damaged it permanent... I did try fastbooting cust, cash, boot, system, userdata, recovery etc but I am not getting anywhere...
Hisuite says that this phone isnt supported so I have no idea what to do... I was hoping that maybe SP-Flash could help but I don't even have a scattered file to try...
Very worried that I have just thrown away a lot of money (( Do you think that huawei service may help with such issue? ofc i will pay rather than do it on a warranty but if they could fix it, I am assuming it will be less than what i've paid for the phone....

Can you get into fastboot mode?
If yes, no worrie!
You will not be able to unlock your bootloader once you forgot to enable the OEM.
If your stock recovery is intact you can use the force update "dload"
Have you tried with same build but L09 instead L19?
If it does not work, it is because your stock recovery is corrupted or has been replaced in this case your only option is DC Phoenix.
You need 15 credits if you do not have a Dongle, you will receive a username and password. DC Phoenix allows you to flash the UPDATE.APP even with the bootloader and FRP is locked.
You can write a L19 firmware C432 with no problem! But choose a previos version like b136 instead b180.
Fastboot mode.

Hi,
Yes, I can get to the fastboot.
I am just looking at the dc-unlocker and dc-phoenix. Would you know, if my phone originally was AL-10, should I flash it with AL-10 firmware and than rebrand it again? or just go for L09 or L19 straight away?
Thank you!!!
sorry for not reporting back sooner but in the end I had to flash my phone with a factory stock for AL-10, then installed Chinese firmware, unlocked it, root it, twrp, srktools, changed oem info, reinstalled L09C432B136, got update straight away and now I am happy as fu*&^* ))))!!!!!!!! MAN, YOU ARE WALKING LEGEND. THANKS VERY MUCH!!!! for 15 euro i have saved myself all hassles with finding a service, posting phone, being without phone for a weeks, and paying silly fees for a repairs, where they could easily say that ie. motherboard needs replacing and I could spend even more...
You don't even know how much I appreciate it!
BTW, when i reflashed factory soft, i got a bit scared that it says Huawe Ascend, but then it turned out that this is literally factory os which is designed to upload proper model software
now i just need to update IMEI number but luckily for one sim card I got it written in a log from DC-phoenix and for another one i hope I will find it somewhere in a twrp backups which i did a few days ago.
THANKS AGAIN!!!!!!

So i cant Garantee that this will work for you but it worked verry fine with my (EVA-L09).
1. I started my P9 in Fastboot Mode (Hold Volume Down + Connect USB Cable)
2. I used the Programm DC Phonix 35 at First and used Method 2 (see Link). I used the File for the Dual Sim Version (EVA-L19, you find the File on the Data Base of the DC Phonix Tool) of the P9 because there is no Version for the Solo Sim. But it worked verry fine.
3. After i completed Method 2 i started the Phone and saw that it worked again but it is an verry small android version with no function exept Phone Settings and some Huawei Internal Software.
4. I restarted the Phone into the Fastboot Mode and used Method 1 with the Update.app of the Firmware EVA-L09C432B136. But only do step 1. Step 2 will not work !! After the Process was completed i restarted it and it worked.
5. After that i Searched in the Android Options for an Update and found the EVA-09C432B182. You need to install it to fix some errors. After the Phone installed by itself the B182. I used the Huawei Updater with the Hisuite to Upgrade to B361 because the Phone didnt found a new Version by itself. Guide for Huawei Updater with Software Links
And now my P9 is on the EVA-09C42B361 and can find updates by itself i know the new B383 is out but i will wait a week than the Phone will find the Update by itself and i dont want to Brick it again. In the next Days your Phone will show you that the B383 is avalible.
I hope my Little Guide can Help you. If you have any Problems please write me I know that the DC Phonix tool costs Money but it was the only way it helped me. But i have some credits left at my account i think you can use them if you want
Sorry for my Bad english if there are some questions left please write me

P10 plus back to stock with Erecovery and DNS FF

That is my first time to post a Thread in XDA so bare with me
First of all i saw 2 persons with P10 plus stuck in erecovery+no twrp+locked bootloader+unable to unlock Bl
so i searched around the forums with the same problem there is bits of solutions there and here but not a complete one
so i unlocked my phone installed twrp and started the process with no twrp help only using my pc and Firmware finder app on pc
only pick firmware according to your model number
so requirements
1-working pc with windows
2-a USB cable
3-some knowledge of your router system and how to change the DNS in my case it was (ZTE) mostly your default router IP is (192.168.1.1) user:admin pass:admin
4-Firmware application on PC (https://forum.xda-developers.com/tools/general/huawei-firmware-finder-team-mt-t3469146) download it Open Firmware Finder PC Program Now click on common Base. look for your Firmware in my case i wrote (VKY-L29C185) Now on your Firmware Change-log link right click Copy address (Tip Do not take a firmware that is not approved yet to be safe as an example i picked VKY-L29C185B171 though B172 is approved i took B171 and you can update via OTA later) after you copy the address go firmware finder and go to proxy tab and follow the steps from there
here some pictures of the process in the Attachments
(sorry for my bad English)
i took the idea from that Thread (https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-9/how-to/funky-huawei-erecovery-solution-100-t3620165) Thanks to him and to my friends on Telegram group @Blackball

1. change your router DNS
2. use the FF software, find your package in firmware finder, and set it in proxy, and then double check your eRecovery in the same proxy window.
3. start the phone with eRecovery, you should be good to go.
Follow the original thread, there are bits here and there, if you read it a few times, you should be fine.

Huawei P40 Pro Plus ROM files

So I got a Huawei P40 Pro Plus and I used by mistake my software files for P40 Pro. The Pro+ is now stuck and restarts every 2~3 minutes so I don't have enough time to download another version and repair it. I tried with system recovery on HiSuite as suggested in another thread but to no success. I wanted to ask if anyone knows where I can get the Huawei P40 Pro Plus stock firmware (ROM) so that I can flash it. All the ones I find don't have a dload file directory and are missing the SYSTEM.img file (instead there is this weird SUPER.img file).
Thank you in advance
I have the same problem, only on the contrary, I installed firmware from P40 Pro + on my P40 Pro. I am also looking for a solution to the problem, but unsuccessfully so far.

Try to restore via FASTBOOT according to this instruction: https://github.com/ProfessorJTJ/HISuite-Proxy/wiki/System-Recovery-Rom-Instruction-(-Soft-Bricked-)
only you need the correct cust and preload files for your region.
Did the method work for anyone as I am facing the similar behavior

Would be interesting to know what exactly was done - I am struggling to get the firmware files placed on the right directory for Hisuite to detect and repair the phone . It keeps indicating firmware package files are missing .The background is I went from 1.56 to 1.31 and it has been a constant boot loop since then . Very expensive paperweight at the moment ,

You may be substituting invalid links in hisuite.proxy
You might be right . This is what I followed >
1. Prerequisites- OK
2.Full OTA -Installation Instructions :
You need to find the matching firmwares and link to them in the application.
The above is where I am stuck - how to link and what does ut even mean . I have got the firmware files downloaded , seems like the locked bootloader does not allow to go forward .
Any ideas ?

Latest update - upgraded to 1.57 by Hisuite Recovery. However the bootloop issue is still not fixed. IMEI is unknown and Camera has become upside down. I have very little chance to get support in my country from the service center where they refuse to support imported models and no option to send to UAE from where the model is from . Any tips will be highly appreciated.

You will need to find out using fastboot which version is current on your device, and then use the dload firmware for your region.
To find out how to get the latest firmware information, check Fastboot for the OEM information. PLEASE see post #253 for instructions if needed. Then follow the instructions for recovery via fastboot.
(bootloader) :ELS-N39 10.1.0.157(C185E2R1P1)
OKAY [ 0.004s]
finished. total time: 0.005s
ELS-LGRP4-OVS 10.1.0.157
ELS-N39-CUSTC1851B2 (10.1.0.2)
ELS-N39-PRELOADC185R41B1 (10.1.0.1)
Tried with C185 firmware - recovery fails at 89%. Then the same bootloop continues with the above version ( moved up from the problematic 1.31. Now trying with 1.62 which is an approved firmware .Fingers crossed.

yes, only if you have p40 pro +, you need a firmware database for p40 +. in my opinion for p40 + this is ELS-LGRP6-OVS
and I can't tell you exactly which PRELOAD file is right for you as there are four of them.
if you just have p40 pro, then cust & preload look for ELS-N29 and firmware ELS-LGRP4-OVS base.

So far I have tried the MRT Key but it gives me failure when trying to establish a USB connection while the phone is in Fastboot mode. I am trying to find how to fix it right now and I hope it will work. I have tried Hisuite proxy before with versions 156, 144 and 132 but nothing worked for me so I will keep trying with fastbooting and the Key. Sadly I cannot say if it will be successful and if you should buy it for yourself. I found a tutorial on YouTube how to use it but that failure mentioned earlier is in the way and the recovery never gets past 5%.

Bummer - Recovery failed at 5%, no change in status unfortunately . While the preload and the cust zips seem to have the region specific C185 tags , there seems to be no way to identify the main file belonging to the same region for making sure all 3 files are correct. Any ideas here ?

Hi there,
Got your PM & read this thread to get more info about your problem.
You would need to use dload firmware for C185. Using other methods like HiSuite Proxy or HiSuite recovery won't help you at this point. Even eRecovery will get you ''Getting package info failled''!
{Mod edit: Link removed! - Oswald Boelcke, Moderator}
@Ashacreed, it seems that you got yourself a hardbricked device, because you've flashed a firmware from a diferent phone model, so in your case a new motherboard is required...

Dear SilviuO,
Thanks for getting back .
Nothing for C185 listed on easy-firmware , okay to flash with something else ? To be honest I made the most progress with Hisuite proxy method but unable to complete fully beyond 89% and the phone keeps in the bootloop every 1min 15 secs. Camera has become upside down and IMEI has become unknown .
I seem to have little hope .
Thoughts ?

You could try flashing other firmware (ex. for C605 or C432) using this method from my thread. You also need to rename those 2 zips (update_sd_cust&update_sd_preload) to match C185 dload firmware folder names . Be advised that this would be the first time someone tries the method explained on a P40 Pro / P40 Pro+ unit!
Cheers,

Guess that you will have to wait for a proper C185 dload firmware with a higher build number than the one you're currently on and try flashing again.
Kdrgs,
SilviuO
Version has upgraded to 1.62 but the issues are not resolved - because the flashing never completed fully looks like . The factor of the main file being not indicated as the main location based file marked for C185 region . I have got cust and preloaded files which C185 version , which seems to be not good enough . Interestingly wipe cache partition and factory reset do not seem to have any impact whatsoever on error , which I find strange based on my Android experience.
ELS-LGRP6-OVS 10.1.0.162
ELS-N39-CUSTC1851B2 (10.1.0.2)
