Invisible shield zagg - Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Accessories

Trying to find a screen protector that actually works I came across Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. This particular brand is flexible and covers the screen very well. More importantly on Amazon these are going for 2.19 or something like that because if you're buying open box items you're saving a ton of money and of course if you don't like the way it fits you are not out much money. To say the least after I botched the installation of the first one I ordered two more because I really think I'm onto something for the front. For the back it does not fit very well.

Is it properly fit to Mi Note 2 screen from edge to edge? No cutting at all?
What about sensors and front camera? Is it covers by the film or remain naiked?

Fits well top to bottom, covers edge to edge well, doesn't cover sensors. Align to sensors and home button for installation. SPRAY water mist on the back of the protector because you may need to slide it. You WILL need that water to squeeze the bubbles out, if not the bubbles WILL be trapped.
The cut on the corners is a couple of mm smaller where this protector will leave the screen uncovered, but those areas are neither touched nor essentially needed covered. Furthermore after installation even the lines are invisible.
I'd post a photo but I've sold the device.
Screen being curved there's not a lot of options, curved glass reduces sensitivity. I found this a good quality.

Hurray! The soft silicone film - probably the only acceptable decision for Mi Note 2. I wonder, why Zagg, Bronto, Spigen etc. don't make protective films for Mi Note 2?
I'll try to buy and use film for Galaxy S6 Edge Plus (G928F) as you describe.

Pls try the open box items first so you're not out much if you don't like the fit

Yes in my opinion it covered the edges of the screen very well. I don't have that device anymore though so I can't post any further pictures unfortunately.

Dont have that. I found on previous phones that the tempered glass options are usually to thick for me. I have a screen protector on but its a thin one and does the job for me.

i'm still thinking of it. my biggest concern is if it will fit with a case
https://www.honorbuy.com/1065-redmi...otection-tempered-glass-screen-protector.html i have this one (looks like the one you wanna buy). so far so good, it covers the whole screen. the black area has some sort of adhesive that takes care of the 2.5D area near the edges. touch works great on the buttons bar too (doesn't feel as well as the original screen but good enough) the screen colors/contrast are a bit worse, but you can adjust for that from settings.
it's not gonna be as good as without the protector, none of them are gonna works as well as the original screen, but if you don't like it, can't adjust to it you can always take it off.
edit: aaand 10 days later the protector cracked/broke on the buttons cover part. had to take it down.
markw is a cheap phone, and with ugly white upper and down sides, i think it is better use it without any glass.

if you can see the tempered glass got border around it. Actually perfectly match with Redmi 4 prime screen 5" but it would look kinda weird and made me feel unsatisfied due it covered original phone border. I wanna share a picture but i don't know how, and I a new user. Or you can search on youtube for more detail.

Same problem with http://www.gearbest.com/screen-protectors/pp_591930.html - the border of the tempered glass is covering like 0.5mm of each side of the screen. I made me crazy , I had to tear it off.
just got this one and find it looks better due to lack of visible gaps around edges due to 2.5d screen. Found previously screen protectors cracked easily for the same reason, found this causes the capacitive buttons at the bottom of the screen to be less responsive which is a bit annoying, will report back when had it on longer than a weekend.
I originally ordered a screen protector for mine from Ebay since I got the phone pre-launch. That screen protector was excellent, it had no borders and just worked a treat. It was completely clear and the only issue I had was on the edges. It didnt make full contact. Over time it eventually got a small crack and that was the end of the it. It lasted approx 4-6 months though.
My wife on the other hand got that one you linked (with the borders) from Gearbest and it was so bad I just asked for a refund. The border was actually smaller than the screen and it was just really bad. Do not get one with a border. Dont do it!

Just ordered two, as the borderless I ordered the last time broke when I tried to remove the protective film
I'm a little late but to add my experience to that.
I had such a black color frame.
+ it looks nice
+ perfectly fits
I was not satisfied
--- the adhesive is only on the periphery under the color
--- when you knock, it floats, because the transparent part is in the air
--- Some models do not see bottom-buttons at all
Total failure.
hello.please someone suggest me a good t.glass that is antioil and fingerprints free.I tryied asling t.glass but phone gets so dirty from fingers that in daylight is almost impossible to see the screen!also it has to be 1-2mm smaller to fit perfect..thanks!
I don't see any t-glass that'll fit, I only use TPU films. They r a bit flexible and often labeled as anti-break, nano explosion...etc. They can cover almost the edge (mybe only 1-2mm from the end side of the screen, abt the inner bezel of the side screen)
thanks dude. can u suggest me one from ebay please?

Try searching for "nano film" or "anti-explosion" and TPU films for Redmi 4 Prime. Nano liquid will work too but only protects from scratches, doesn't protect from LCD breakage. It's abt US $5+ in my local market and they mostly will specify its full coverage, which is NOT possible for ANY tempered glass

Note 8 Screen Protector - IQShield/Skinomi/Spigen

Hey everyone,
I really don't know what happened lately but suddenly choosing a screen protector is harder than choosing a phone
I came across 3 fairly dominant companies and would like a more personal opinion from you.
1) Skinomi TechSkin/MatteSkin
2) IQ Shield Liquid Shield/Matte
3) Spigen Neo Flex
All 3 are considered "case-friendly", although from what I have heard, they all don't go very well with the Otterbox Defender, which is what I'm planning to have, but correct me if you know otherwise.
Questions:
1) Which one would you consider to be the best one? Are you experienced with any of them?
2) Both Skinomi and IQ Shield have a "version 2" screen protector. Does anyone know what is the difference between version 1 and 2?
3) I'm a HUGE fan of Matte screen protectors, I just love the feel and the anti-fingerprint. The only downside to it is a bit of a blurry feel in the screen. If any of you tried their Matte protectors, how bad is that blur?
Thank you,
Omga4000

I wasn't able to catch what you wrote before the edit, but any opinion is good!
The problem with Tempered Glass is that there is only 1 company which makes a "full adhesive" solution, Whitestone.
From what I have read - they are really not that great, and do not support the Otterbox Defender series.
If you know something else, please do share
IQ Shield and Skinomi are better than the Spigen and all three are better than Ringke. Version 1 and 2 differentiate between the cutoff points for case friendliness. Ver 1 of the IQ Shield ends before the screen of the Note 8 ends which means a tiny part of the screen will be unprotected on the sides. Version 2 covers the whole visible screen and works for some cases. Version 1 works with basically all cases, but it gives you slightly less protection due to it being "most case friendly" of all.
You're going to get graininess from the matte protectors, that's just the name of the game.
I have had success with the IQ Shield. No peeling and relatively smooth for a soft TPU.

Perfect, that works for me.
Ordered both the Version 1 and Version 2 of IQ Shield (Matte). I hope that version 2 will fit the Otterbox, though I doubt it.
Thank you
I had the spigen neo flex on my s8 and went with the skinomi techskin on my note 8 based on amazon reviews. Just installed it last night, super easy and haven't noticed any issues. I'm using it with a spigen neo hybrid case and all my edges are flat on the screen. Any streaks or air bubbles left cured over night. Highly recommend.

I can attest to the quality of the Skinomi TechSkin. It's great, and somehow it protected by screen from a good fall on some rocks when I launched my phone in the air getting out of my car as I forgot it was in my lap. Put a bunch of dents in the protector but my screen was fine. May have been a fluke.
Otherwise, it's a wet application and can be a bit aggravating, especially getting the sides the stick, but eventually they do. It looks HORRIBLE for the first 24 hours or so, but all the bubbles dissappear and you can't tell it's even on.
My only complaint is the S Pen gouges it pretty bad, but it's really only noticeable in direct light or with the screen off.
Edit: also I believe I got version 2, it fit with every case I own, and I have quite a few.
Does either of the matte skins for the ringke onyx?
Thank you ?
Best note 8 PET Protector (Easy ULT)
I found this one to be the best combination of coverage, Feel and works with the S Pen without leaving lines or too much drag. They dont do a case friendly version but i cut the sides down 2mm either side and re cut the radius on the corners

I trust by now there is another alternative. I'm looking for a full adhesive solution as I don't feel comfortable with a protector that only adheres to the edges leaving an air bubble in the middle of the screen.
Whitestone Fail
I tried the Whitestone and it didn't go too well. Got bubbles under the screen protector on the first and second try. The adhesive ran all over - down into the speaker holes, in the S-Pen slot, earphone jack, charger port......it was a complete disaster.
Me and a couple of friends are using the Samsung official screen protector for S8+ and they're great. They will heal very fast from pen mark

That must mean that it is "soft" and not be able to withstand shatter tests (for accidental drops), nor any direct impacts to the screen by sharp objects.

No idea if it has any special coatings, but for me it's doing a great job at being scratch resistive.

You better keep your screen protection on. The screen gets scratched even by fabric, jeans etc. Realised that in 2 weeks after buying and my nano protector is on it like +1 year.

The back cover is more important though, it's a drop to the corner which will crack the screen everytime, the screen won't last long enough to worry about the scratches without a cover. So both would be good but no screen protector here, then again I don't have loads of pills in my pocket

I've bought them from a local seller in Turkey. First tried a couple of tempered glass screen protectors but the shape of edges were ruining them. So nano one doesn't cover the whole screen but sticks completely, feels more clean. It's like this:

Then you should keep it in a glass cabinet and only look at it once a day, no touching!
But it is slippery as an eel, as the Swedish saying goes, and both the screen and the ceramic bezel will crack on first corner drop.
Any back cover will also "cover it up", and the flip cover even protects the screen from scratches in your pocket.
The least bad choice, better than buying a new phone every few months at least.

Full glass screen cover

i've installed glass screen protector bought here: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/RDC...-For-Xiaomi-Mi8-Mi-8-SE-Full/32881714447.html

All holes for camera, led etc are properly cut.
I'm waiting for other glasses to get off the right one.

Ferilinso Cristal Templado Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite, [2 Pack] [Cobertura Completa] Estuche Libre de Burbujas Película Protectora de Protector de Pantalla con garantía de remplazo (Negro)
(sorry, can't post links until I post more messages).
It fits perfectly. Great feeling. Glue everywhere in the screen. So no bubbles or this iridiscent thing that sometimes apperars. It covers the whole screen, even the edges and it doesn't look like the black edged are taking any space from the display. But there is a major downside. The edges are cut straight. Not rounded. Making them sharp-ish on touch and creating a place where dust and "others entities" can settle their new home. If you don't have a case, go for a rounded edge. But if you have a rather big case, you don't feel the edge.
I'd look for a cover with rounded edges, full coverage and full glue. Then, check reviews to see if there is any display covered by the black parts.

Xiaomi Mi CC9 / Mi 9 Lite screen protector

I'm surprised at how good this screen protector is. It comes with a plastic guide that goes on your phone and makes sure the glass lines up perfectly. It comes with 2 kits that include wet and dry cleaning cloths, dust removal stickers, and the glass screen protectors.
This package also includes a protective sticker for the back of the phone. I'm using a case, so I'm not going to use the sticker, but it's nice that they included it.
Finger print scanner works like normal. My phone case fits like normal and I can barely see that there's a screen protector on my phone. This is a way better purchase than I expected. Much higher quality than I expected.
The only thing I'm unsure of is the protector for the camera. I haven't been able to test it out in daylight to see if it shows up in the photos. Only 1 lens protector is included. My case sort of protects the lenses, so worst case I just remove the lens protector.

Do you guys realize it's kinda pointless to use screen protectors on Gorilla Glass 5, not to mention camera lens which is covered with sapphire glass.. you wouldn't be able to scratch it even if you tried.
i am more worried about dropping it, that amoled costs about half the phone in here
From where are you guys buying screen protector for this device?

Thanks for this tip, exactly as you described. Usually these things end up in the bin. Didn't even need to re do finger print , no rainbowing, full adhesive. Top notch. Sacked of camera piece as didn't take but wasn't bothered anyway.
I can't appreciate on the pictures, is it with frame or clear edges?

Glass is all clear, no frames.
I also have this screen protector. No need to manual adjust the screen protector just put the guide on your phone then place the screen protector. Voila, perfect fit!
Best combination for me is this screen protector + xundd beatle case.

Mostly online, it is available in amazon for like 10 US dollars. Here in the Philippines it only costs 8 US dollars.
Hi all !
Also bought this glass kit and must say first impression is positive compared with hydrogel foil and some noname glass.
Transparent, no fingerprint, great feeling under finger, case friendly cut BUT view screwed when wear polarised sunglasses.
