Huawei P10 Plus in rose gold in europe - Huawei P10 Questions & Answers

Hello,
I'm looking for P10 Plus (or mate 9 pro) in Rose gold, but I have not found a single reseller in europe that sells it and ships it to Finland. AFAIK the Chinese rom will not work with european LTE bands. Does anyone have ANY idea if it is available anywhere in europe?
This is the version sold in Finland and Germany:
VKY-L09:
4G TD-LTE: Bands 38 / 39 / 40
4G FDD LTE: Bands 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 7 / 8 / 9 / 12 / 17 / 18 / 19 / 20 / 26 / 28 / 29;
3G UMTS (WCDMA) / HSPA+ / DC-HSDPA: Bands 1 / 2 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 8 / 19
2G GSM / EDGE: 850 / 900 / 1.800 / 1.900 MHz
All help appreciated thanks

Xperia Z C6606 getting LTE on 700Mhz AT&T??

So i've seen this on a few sites now, model C6606 Xperia Z and these are the listed bands supported:
GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
HSPA 850 / 900 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100 42 Mbps
LTE 700 / 850 / 900 / 1700 / 2100 / 2600 100 Mbps

Moto X (2014) GSM Unlocked (HELP NEEDED)

I want to buy Moto X 2014 GSM Unlocked version from US.
I live in Europe - Macedonia, so i want to know will this phone work in Macedonia?
Also there are 2 choises on motorla site Motorla X pure edition and NET10 Wireless , which one should i chose
bump
From http://www.gsmarena.com/motorola_moto_x_(2014)-6649.php you'll see the band that are avaiable. The Pure is the same at the T-Mobile version
2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 - all versions
3G Network HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 - for AT&T
HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 - for Europe
HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100 - for T-Mobile
4G Network LTE 700 / 850 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100 - for AT&T
LTE 800 / 1800 / 2600 - for Europe
LTE 700 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100 - for T-Mobile
I believe with the Lollipop release there's also an update to unlock more LTE bands for the Pure version. According to http://www.worldtimezone.com/gsm.html it looks like most operators in Macedonia run on
900
1800
3G 1900/2100 ONE;
3G 1900/2100 T-Mobile;
3G 900/2100 VIP Macedonia;
4G LTE T-Mobile 1800Mhz;
4G LTE VIP Macedonia 800Mhz;
So by default it looks like you'll have 3G off the bat, and 4G with an update. YMMV, that's just based on what i found.

Will this phone work in the UK?

I'm getting this phone and since it's not released in the UK, I'm buying it online and was wandering if it works on the UK networks, specifically Three.

I use with 3... 4G is awesome! Getting upto 70mbps.
Will work on all networks, some wont have 4G IE Voda and O2. Which Model will you be getting?
There are two threads which deal with people buying to use in the UK. Read those - all the answers are there with loads of helpful advice.
In short make sure you buy a 920C. That is the best model for the UK.

Will the Mi5 come with unlockable LTE bands ?

As I've come to believe from various sources the official supported bands are as follows:
4G FDD-LTE bands 1 / 3 / 7
4G TDD-LTE bands 38 / 39 / 40 / 41
3G TD-SCDMA bands 34 / 39
3G WCDMA bands 1 / 2 / 5 / 8
3G CDMA 2000 bands BC0 / BC1
2G GSM bands 2 / 3 / 5 / 8
2G CDMA 1X BC0 / BC1
Now since I live in europe .. my ISP's most used 4g (LTE) band is 20 (800mhz) and so it is not supported..
Will it be possible to unlock this band via QPST - QXDM modification, or has the band been disabled on the hardware side of the chip itself ?
I know it's very early on, but I have been anticipating the arrival of MI5 for months now, only to find a lack of european LTE support ...
thanks in advance for any info !!!
I also wonder this! Would be great for the 4G coverage here in Europe!
I'm also curious about this. If LTE band 20 is unlockable I'll buy one right away
It would be nice to know if it would be possible. I am also very interested in this phone

Well, that does only mean that the device does not officially support others bands. The question however was, if other bands can be unlocked.
FDD-LTE (band 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29)
TD-LTE (band 38, 39, 40, 41)
TD-SCDMA 1900/ 2000
CDMA EV-DO Rev.A (800, 1700/2100, 1900, 2100mhz)
WCDMA (850, 900, 1700/2100, 1900, 2100)
GSM (850, 900, 1800, 1900)

We'll all just probably have to wait until someone has one in hand and can test some different SIM Card to see what it actually will support... Needless to say though is if someone at least tests with either a TMO SIM or ATT SIM and they work.... one can assume that all 18 bands do... now it's a waiting game

I'm pretty sure it will not have all of those bands. Out of luck if you want to use this and are on Verizon, Sprint, AT&T or T-Mobile.
They just updated the supported bands and they have some of my country.. But I don't understand quite well the difference in the 800hz to 1800 to even 2600.. if for example my device catches the 1800 band but not the others, will the signal be good, or to be perfect in need to pick them all?
Also, higher frequency means better signal?

It won't support AT&T LTE?

Yes is it confirmed ! But if many people say it Xiaomi can't make Lte Global because Samsung and Apple don't want this...
But I'm sure it's not hardware but software and it possible to unlock this ?
And Xiaomi wont to shop in international but in late 2017 and this MI5 there are Lte Global in late 2017 Sorry for people want it me to
The question has not actually been answered: is anyone aware of any possibilities to unlock, via a kernel perhaps, the bands which should be supported by the hardware?
There's a good chance if you can unlock bootloader, Hugo Barra said in an interview that the India version will have those unlocked and not the model sold in China.

Note 8 SM-N950N (Korea) Deep Blue Sea - 256 GB & LTE Frequency

Hi Guys,
I am purchasing Note 8 SM-N950N (Korea) Deep Blue Sea - 256 GB from a reputable seller on eBay.
The seller wants me to confirm the Bands / Frequency Support, listed as:
Code:

According to Wikipedia for my carrier in Canada (ROGERS), for LTE - it lists the following:
Frequency Range: 700 MHz Lower A/B/C
Band Number: 12/17/13
Protocol: LTE
Class: 4G
Frequency Range: 1700/2100 MHz AWS
Band Number: 4
Protocol: LTE
Class:4G
Frequency Range: 2600 MHz IMT-E
Band Number: 7
Protocol: LTE
Class: 4G
So, from trying to understand the chart from what the seller provided and what is supported by ROGERS, LTE should work without any issues correct?
Please advise.
Thanks.
Looks like the phone does not support band 13
Yeah it looks like you will have 4 7 12 and 17 so it will work as long as you don't go to an area with only band 13 available
i still don't know where i can buy a n950N from the US

I went the ebay route. I think I used the same seller Kalm_Traveler also used (falling_in_seoul) (~200 feedback).
After I got my package thursday the listing was taken down by ebay. Seller doesn't know why, and I can't leave them feedback. If anyone's curious from this seller the Shipping was less than 36 hours via FedEx (Korea > Alaska > Tennessee > Missouri > mah hands!) while it was estimated to be a week or so. Sealed box, even included a power plug adaptor (didn't need but was a nice thought if I didn't have one already).
If I didn't get the korean deepsea blue with 256gb internal storage I would have purchased from Never-MSRP and been very sad at having no OEM Unlock option (not seller's fault).
Thanks everyone for the response.
I'll keep an eye out and update on the performance once the device is delivered.
I've owned every Note ever made except for the Note1... my dream is always been to have a 6 gigs of RAM 256 GB of storage with an external SD Samsung Galaxy Note. The phone just came out but it's a Korean version and it's in the deep sea blue which I wanted anyways cuz I always get a black phone. So I ordered one on eBay myself. They were going for about $1,380. But I got a seller down to $1,000. My order was placed yesterday and now it should be here in the next two weeks and I will give updates as to how the service and everything else works. I also wanted an international version due to the fact that it has an EXYNOS processor which is easier to root as well. So hopefully if my phone works on T-Mobile in the United States and I achieve root I will have my dream phone. After the Note 7 Fiasco last year I've had a rough ride with Samsung as they made me argue with them for almost a hundred fifty hours just to get my International Note 7 through the claims department. Then after they took my phone back in March I still have yet to receive my check for $980. For the last 3 weeks I've been arguing with them on that matter and now they're claiming the checks in the mail. But we'll see. Then they gave me two promo codes to buy Note 7 from Samsung website because I actually purchased two notes Evans last year one international and one from T-Mobile. And guess what? Neither one of the promos worked! Then after 15 hours of calling for the last 2 weeks I've been told to do numerous things to get new promos from going to T-Mobile and having them print out my receipt taking a picture converting it to a PDF format uploading it to my desktop and then sending it to them through a link and doing the same thing with my eBay receipt. To creating a new email so that they can send me new links to the new email which I did and I've still never received any links. At this point in my life I hate Samsung as a company from the customer service aspect I really hate him with a passion because of the way they treat people. But, the only phone in the world that I like happens to be the Note line.. so it's kind of a love-hate relationship at this point. I used to talk on my Apple friends out of their phones and trying to get Samsung which I will not do anymore and I will not defend the company anymore nor try to persuade people to try a Samsung device. Just because of the way they treat people. But I will still continue to buy my note phones every year and hopefully get to enjoy them without incident. That aside I didn't mean to ramble on. But as soon as my phone gets here I'll let you guys know how it works with Tmobile service
Sent from my SM-T820 using Tapatalk
I also bought this model, but It is looking not work on Freedom mobile 3G network. I'm so confused on that. LTE works great so far. I can't make a call and receive a call. Only can use data and message.
