watch sport charging cradle now available - LG Watch Sport

http://www.lg.com/us/mobile-accessories/lg-WCD-H100-wireless-charging-cradle-watch-sport

I've noticed generic cradles now on ebay.
As I can't buy from LG in the UK a genuine cradle, what's the risk a generic 'copy' cradle could do harm to the watch?

I wouldn't think it would do anything to it since it's wireless charging. It would either work or not.

Bought a couple of the generic ones, turned up this morning from China.
Work fine.
Did a test on the current draw of the OEM cradle and the generic ones.
The OEM draws 0.31 amps, and the generic ones both draw 0.41 amps according to my in-line tester, that is the only difference.

Anybody try this one from amazon

That looks identical in colour and markings on the base to the pair I bought from China, i posted above, which incidentally, have been fine.

Official car charger

Having looked at a number of UK websites, only one said a USB cable came with the charger. I had been planning on buying an OEM 2 amp charger. Then I saw Clove were saying it came with a spare USB cable so the price of £24.99 didn't seem so bad any more. Got it on Friday and, yes, it did have a USB cable in the pack.
Tried it in my car runing Co-Pilot sat nav and my battery indicator showed that the charge was still going up so I am very pleasedwith it.
Only slightly disappointing thing is that the charger has only one output whereas some of the OEM ones have two, one 2 amp and one 1 amp. However, I tried it with my charger splitter and it still showed the charge was going up.
most cheap usb car charges have a screwable top; just take out the glass fuse and replace it with a 2amp/2000mA fuse which you can get at autozone, radio shack, home depot....pretty much anywhere
Really? if i just change the glass fuse i can use any usb car charge?
Is not dangerous for the electric impiant of the car?
No You can't. It is not the fuse that decides how much current the charger can give.
The fuse just protects the charger from blowing if something fails.
The regulator used in the charger sets the charging current.
true you can buy a regulator at radio shack. i've seen the 7805 for about a buck 50.
Ok, tnx guy!
Go to Best Buy or your local Apple store and pickup the Incase Ipad car charger. I've tested and works just fine with the Tab.

There are generic 2A USB cigarette lighter / car chargers on eBay for a third of the price. Worth trying too
Would you mind posting a pic of the charger?
I just bought Samsungs Car Adapter kit (ECA-P10CBECSTD) from local store, 27.90€.
It comes with cigarette lighter 12/24V usb adapter, 2 Amps 5V output, and a proprietary Samsung Tab usb cable.
A little pricey, ok, but now I have a second usb cable and a car adapter with enough output amps without fuss.

Here's the one from Clove.
Amazon UK are selling the Samsung car charger for £20.83. Pretty good deal with free delivery.
[edit]
Or there's this one also on Amazon for 99p (+£4.50 delivery!) which apparently can charge the Tab. You still need to add in the cost of the proprietary Samsung USB cable though to match the official car charger features, so not much of a bargain really...

My only concern is nowhere does it mention the cable actually comes with the charger.

That's all fine and dandy Paul but will an individual be bothered contacting officials just for the sake of a few pounds.
No, what I'm saying is why is it not listed..... and if anyone is considering purchasing one I would recommend they save themselves any issues by first contacting the seller to ascertain if the cable is indeed part of the deal.
If you check the item model number it's listed as a charger, nothing further.

OK well I've just ordered one so we'll soon see . The picture on Amazon looks almost identical to the one on Clove. Here's hoping they're the same otherwise I've bought the world's most expensive charger .
Guys, just so you know, you can get very cheap 2A chargers on ebay. The cable problem is still impossible to solve, but I'm sure Hong Kong people are working on it, so it might be best to wait a month and order a cheap replacement cable, rather then paying ridiculous amount of money for Samsung's original cable.
I ordered one of these a couple weeks ago:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...b43hTuXib7JjWUKJhg%3D&viewitem=#ht_1776wt_959
Came in today, and I swear the sync cable it came with is identical to the one my Tab came with, right down to the Samsung logo.
Car charger itself is a 5.0v/2000mA, looks well built, fused, and comes in a very nice retail package.
Considering the cable alone is $29 from my carrier, it's a hell of a deal. I basically bought a cable for $23 and got a car charger for free.
Hey croak that cellet charger doesnt work. it has the charging symbol crossed out... I guess you need to do usb2usb soldering mod to use any 5v2A charger. I saw the thread on here...

[Q] 'Official' or best charger for USA?

Hello, how are you folks doing.
I was hoping to purchase a charger that would work in the US, as I ordered my note from clove.co.uk and it shipped with a UK charger (no surprise there).
Perferably, this would be the fast (AC) charger.
I was considering getting a Japanese model, as the plugs and voltage are similar, until I decided that the differences were just enough that it would be a dumb idea (charger would be over-volted and current would flow at a different frequency).
I've seen some non-OEM solutions, but was wondering if there was an OEM one, or if you guys had some experience with aftermarket chargers (as they do technically void the warranty- I selected Clove because they promised they would take care of the warranty if need be, but don't want to add other variables to the mix).
Thanks in advance.
Just get an iphone or ipod touch charger if you don't already have one. They are related 5V and 1A, and just like your stock charger. It is much smaller in size, and only $5 or less on Ebay.
The official genuine Samsung Adapter in India is compatible with all the voltages worldwide. All you need is the Pin conversion plug which costs one or two dollars. After that, you're ready to go. The original genuine Samsung Adapter costs somewhere in the range of 4-5 dollars. Its a genuine official samsung adapter, what more do you want. cheers
See, I've been using a generic 5V charger for the US, but it outputs at 500mA, not 1A. The phone would charge twice as fast with a 1A charger, lol
Awesome, you just made me realize there was a difference between the two chargers I am using. One says .7A and the other says 850ma. So the 850ma should charge faster correct?

LuguLake 6000mAh Qi Charger!

While I was searching today for G2 accessories I found this :amazon.com/UPGRADED-LuguLake-6000mAh-Qi-Inductive/dp/B00CY4SG10?tag=at88-20
anyone tried it on G2?
please confirm if it works
I'm sure it would charge fine. You are basically buying a chinese Qi transmitter with a chinese battery. I don't know how long it would last or how accurate the description is.
You can probably pick these up cheaper if you buy them separately. A cheap Qi charger pad can be had for $10-$20 and a portable charger for about the same. I'd prefer having 2 separate devices, especially if you are buying a no-name brand.
Thanks player911... I got your point here in buying two separate devices

I bought the Anker. Works perfectly with my VZW G2 with Diztronic case.

You do realize that 99% percent of batteries in anything come from China? Regardless of brand.

Well a braded battery tho will have some standards and quality, that you dont expect from an unbraded chinese one.
I have this charger and it works well for me. Has to stay plugged in if charging over night as there is no shut off when phone is completely charged. Also makes a beep sound to let you know the phone is charged. This can annoy some people. The lights are also bright while charging. This annoys me, so I just cover it with something. The charger also works with my Incipio Dual Pro case on. All in all it works as it should and I have no complaints about the purchase.

Where to buy good quality USB-C cables with international shipping?

So I'm from South America and Amazon/MonoPrice won't ship to my country (Brazil).
Anyone knows a place with good quality cables that have international shipping?
Aliexpress, Dealextreme, etc... but with a USB-C compliant cable. I'm afraid that buying cheap-quality ones I'll be damaging my dear OP3
I have the original cable and charger, but I'd like to have some spares if I eventually break or lose mine.
Thanks!
I purchased my spare charger and cable from eBay, from a user named 2014flybear, his ad is titled Original Oneplus Dash Fast Charger US Adapter Type-C Cable For Oneplus 3 A3000. As far as I can tell, the ones I received are original accessories and are working perfectly.

This Google engineer reviews all models from Amazon. There are a lot of tech blog publications about him and his work.
I've bought mine directly from Anker through Alieexpress.
(I'm not allowed to post external links, yet. But you'll find them on Ali.)
These are original cables. They're having a sale on 11/11.

Cable Matter and Amazon
Obviously Amazon is great because of the international support. Cable Matters is a great cable company.

Fast charger for USA sockets?

I ordered a P30 Pro from Clove in the UK, and I’m having it shipped to the US. However, given the difference in the electrical outlet plugs, I won’t be able to use the included Fast Charger that comes with the phone. I was wondering where I can get an alternative that will still work just as well as the included one, or if there is a way to order an OEM version that has the USA-style plugs (Type-A)

Can't you use a U.S. / U.K. adapter? I guess there is always wireless charging either way.

The cheaper route would be just to get a travel adapter. Plug the UK charger into that and you can use the stock charger.
