unlocked bootloader, for some realme x2 pro fingerprint works, for others not

So I have got 3 Realme x2 pro all Chinese versions imported from China. All 3 were originally delivered with colorOS.
- With one of the phones I unlocked the bootloader on colorOS, the fingerprint continued to work, I flashed realmeUI, the fingerprint continued to work, I flashed lineageOS and the fingerprint continued to work. All good.
- With the second phone I unlocked the bootloader on colorOS, the fingerprint did not work anymore, I flashed realmeUI, the fingerprint still did not work, I locked the bootloader, the fingerprint started to work again, I unlocked the bootloader again under realmeUI, the fingerprint continued to work, I flashed lineageOS and the fingerprint continued to work. A bit weird but all good.
- With the last phone I unlocked the bootloader on colorOS, the fingerprint did not work anymore, I flashed realmeUI, the fingerprint still did not work, I locked the bootloader, the fingerprint started to work again, I unlocked the bootloader again under realmeUI BUT for this phone the fingerprint stopped working again. I tried this with colorOS A15, realmeUI C22, C25, C26 and C28. Every time I lock the bootloader the fingerprint starts working, but every time I unlock the bootloader it stops working again.
I am out of ideas what else to try. Any suggestions are welcome at this point.
Any updates?

Regarding setting screen lock after unlocking bootloader

The situation:-
Bootloader unlocked
Magisk canary installed
No screen lock set
Custom twrp by moronofrio installed
Official realme UI
I read somewhere I don't remember and couldn't find but I know I read that after installing custom recovery I can not change screen lock.
Questions:-
1) can I set a screen lock now(pin or pattern)
2) after setting a lock can I change it.(I think I read twrp only supports pattern lock).
3)setting and changing lock would do any problems??
Thanks in advance
Have you tried to set one and check yourself already?
No

Fingerprint doesn't work in stock ROM with locked bootloader - only with unlocked.

Fingerprint doesn't work in stock ROM with a locked bootloader. It work only with unlocked bootloader.
What are hell ? How fix it?
RMX1931EX_11.C.27
after update to RMX1931EX_11.C.32 or (RMX1931EX_11.C.32) the same problem
sadly i guess only custom rom works fingerprint right now

Question Unlock bootloader security concerns

Hello to everyone,
I wanted to unlock the bootloader of my device so I can modify it and I tried to follow the steps given by Xiaomi.
1] enable OEM unlock in developer settings,
2] connected my device to PC
3] signed in xiaomi unlocking tool
then a warning about security changes appeared before finalise the unlocking stating that i will lose fingerprint unlocking service of my phone.
The question is if someday I decide to return my phone to full stock state will fingerprint and the other security services return as functioning?
Thank you in advance.
Yeah you'll be fine. You will have to downalod rom image form xiaomi website, downalod xiaomi flashing tool, connect phone in fastboot mode and flash original os. Phone will be like brand new
And i don't remember that my fingerprint scanner had any problmes, now i have custom rom installed and its perfectly fine

Thank you for the info. It's just what Xiaomi Unlock Tool reports I couldn't know.
The reason I am asking is because I need fingerprint services and NFC for my work.
Thanks again.

I will try some custom roms and if they won't have the features I want I'll try the Indonesian region rom for mi apps. Also, I know I shouldn't relock the bootloader with custom roms, but can I relock it with different regions official roms?

Yes, everything works fine. If you want a close to stock experience flash xiaomi.eu, and everything will work. Fingerprint, facial recognition, nfc and banking apps will work perfectly fine, nothing to be worried about
