You need to flash the rollback package and flash B136 firmware if you would be on EVA-L09
but you are on L19 so dont use the files in my signature. i think only the rollback package is for L09 and L19. The firmware is for L09 im pretty sure.
There is an app called Huawei firmware finder in playstore you can download mostly every firmware from this.

I did that and now it wont reboot after all. First I see the Huawei sign and then when it should be booting it's doing nothing. All I get is a black screen, which stays forever. Can't get back to TWRP. Seems like the Phone bricked or something.
EDIT: And it says my phone is locked now.

Hello,

Look into your subforum for P9 Lite / VNS
This is here for P9 / EVA, different phones, different chipsets, different firmwares and different users

first through recovery twrp make deep full format, copy the version B170 in microSD, vol up + volume down + power, so the installation B170
Finally copy dload folder firmware first post C432B524, always in microSD, after updater, local update in the device.
So you put only rollback and question is where is the update.zip to 6.0?

HI my friend.
I have a P8 lite with ALE-L21C185B130 firmware version and I tried to change my phone location using a method was for Honor 4C exactly!!
After that boot animation of my phone turned to "HONOR" (that method was for Honor 4C exactly), But I forgot to take a backup of my original "oeminfo" file.
So anybody that has Rooted P8 lite with "L21C185B120" or "L21C185B130" firmware please take a copy of "oeminfo" file and upload it for me using this guide:
1. go to ES File Explorer and enable Root Explorer in left side menu> tools
2. go to this path: device/ dev/ block/ platform/ hi_mci.0/ by-nam
3. copy "oeminfo" file from above path (don't change or delete any thing!)
4. Please upload it for me. I need it orgently!
Thanks for your help.

Looking for Chinese ALOO Original OEMINFO file

As the title says, looking for the original OEMInfo file as I forgot I could back mine up before I tried to trick the device into being an EU model ... (it worked fine mind you - but now won't take any updates)
how did you trick it to being EU model? flashed C432 OEM-file from an EU P9?

yes, using this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/development/how-to-change-cust-c900-c432-t3392824
Process is dead easy, however my phone thinks its a L09 not a l19 (dual sim) which is not the end of the world as dual sim still works. BUT the 168 chinese ROM has a more advanced (and easier to use) SIM swop functionality (switching between which SIM has the 3/4G connectivity)
Just wish I could get my hands on the oem-file (orignal)

1) Backup your oeminfo file !!! and then send it to me (if you have the same phone as me)
2) swap the oeminfo file with the Eu one
3) apply a EU firmware
4) relock the bootloader
5) OTA updates will work
Its fairly straight forward and well documented on the forum. i currently have the latest EU firmware on my Chinese AL00 L9 device

Hello, unfortunately I am one of those who flashed a C432 and got a C900 with no updates.. I found a thread about how to fix this issue the P9. At that link there is a file which can be installed by TWRP. I hoped here to find the same sort of file but instead there is a zip containing the oeminfo and custom.bin files. How can I use these files to correctly setup my FW to be C432 (instead of C900)?
Thank You in advance for your help!

Hi G.Man,
Can you perhaps help? My Huawei P8 Lite 2017 PRA-LA01 is rooted. I can't upgrade to Oreo although the OTA download completed. After the download it takes me to TWRP. I go to the data/update folder to do it manually, but it fails with an ERROR: 9. Is there a way to do this manually. I've done MANY searches on the internet and all the links to the norecovery file is missing. Do I need to flash a new version of TWRP?

Flash with adb fastboot:

P8 lite 2017 System 8.0.0.046

Hi. I installed Android Oreo on my PRA-LX1 with HWOTA8 method, and now at build number shows System 8.0.0.046(0C71) instead of PRA-LX1 8.0.0.360(C432). How to fix?
same here on my P8 Lite 2017.
8.0.0.046(0C71) instead of PRA-LX1 8.0.0.360(C432)
i've followed the haky guide and installed PRA-LX1C432B364 (2018.06.22 build) C432 version.

Yes fingerprint is in most Oreo ROMs. Did you delete your fingerprint before updating? If not, try to factory reset, disable encryption (read aio guide) and then factory reset again. It still nothing then try to install a treble gsi
