Loud sound video is highly saturated - OnePlus 3T Questions & Answers

Hi guys,
I'm very happy with the video made with my op3t but one thing still bother me :
I'm nightclubs for instance, the sound is really bad, highly saturated when my moto x2 was handling it very well.
I'm going to festival this summer and I'll be very happy if I can find a solution not to have my videos only made of saturated sound.
Is there any app/mod/rom/kernel tweak to avoid this or is it closely related to hardware?

[Q] Poor focus on camera?

Hey,
I'm just curious, is this normal quality for HTC One pictures?
It seems like my camera can't focus properly (especially in broad daylight), which is sometimes very annoying.
Do I need to trick with settings?
When I see pictures from when I first bought the One, it does seem like it took better pictures, but there has always been this "unsharpiness".
It looks like every other picture which I've seen in here, tests and such takes better pictures than mine
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks in advance
This happens to my HTC one as well, did you fix it ??

[Q] Mic Test (Loud Environment) (Solved with video inside)

Does anyone knows how the Turbo performs in really loud environments when recording?, or if someone can make any test regarding this?.
I had the Nexus 4 and it was a really bad performance, and then changed to the Nexus 5 that was a small improve over the Nexus 4, but I would like to know if the Turbo performs better in clubs or concerts.
Thanks
:fingers-crossed:
Update Nov 26
Like no one answered before, I decided to record myself and put it here so everybody can see the quality of audio and video of this phone in loud environments. It's not so loud like a club or concert, but still music could be heard from my house to the street and the other houses around mine.
What level of loudness are you talking about? Traffic, busy streets? I don't have the habit of using the voice activated functions while walking on the streets, but I do live in a noisy neighborhood and so far the phone has been working well. I've used voice commands I traffic with good results too.

I'm not talking about the voice commands, I'm talking about recording video in a club, concert or really loud environments.

There's a good example in this video, at 5'58":

Thanks, but still is not a loud environment, I'm looking something like this:

Maybe put it near a medium/big sound system at max volume would do the trick, I want to see how it works with concerts and really loud environments.
Thanks again.

Who knows a calibration tool or mod for the amoled display?

Bonjour,
I like very well this amoled screen vs ips expect for displaying my dslr photos..
Too saturated in photo or adaptative display, too cold in basic mode..
Very unprofessional vs my HTC m8, nexus 9 or my calibrated pcs...
I have found a xrite app that works with my calibration device but it takes a while to display each pic..
Is there a mod available to correct the amoled display? Or manually?

In french

Hum...I have already read this guide in French 3 months ago to calibrate my pc screen!
Because I am a photographer! And you ? You also own a dslr (un reflex? ).
The xrite app (after using a calibration device (sonde) ) is good but the gallery is slow..
I will try your second link!
Thank merci you!

I'm not a photographer! But take care when you use a calibration tool: results can damage your screen...

How does it compares with a LG G5?

Im planing to move to O+3T.
Im concerned about loudspeaker performance and sunlight readability.

Coming from the HTC m7 I can tell that in terms of quality it's equivalent, it's also a bit louder but it's coming from the bottom and you can easily block the sound... But in general it's decent.
Regarding luminosity, it's very good compared to what people say, no issues at all, better than my m7.
Best regards

How to increase sound from the stereo speakers??

I find the sound too low for my liking. When watching movies or playing games I often need to use 80% or more volume.
Any way to increase the sound otherwise apps that actually work??
Thanks.
The volume is a bit higher with Dolby Atmos switched on.

I am using Dolby Atmos. It does improve sound quality and loudness slightly, shame there is no software than can amplify, none seem to work...
If you're willing to unlock the bootloader and root, Viper4android is a solution....

I'm not ready to root my phone yet but I've been using Viper4Android for my previous phones, and this is definitely what you're looking for.
Use this app
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.goodev.volume.booster
Do not set to loud as it may cause damage to speakers, I've set it to 5%

I haven't tried with Bluetooth, I believe it would work as it raises the whole system sound.
I confess I only use this when taking a shower and watching iPlayer Or Netflix show, or Spotify etc.

I think so [emoji3]
Seriously with both my Bluetooth headphones and wired earphones I'm not able to stand max volume level.
