One thing for starters - imediately after installing - phone sent 2 text messeges to India +91xxxxxx
Please can you fix this? I don't know if its one time after installing or it is gonna be after, lets say, each reboot.
Costly, annoying, I dont feel safe with this.

Issues after one night - battery at night - about 7 hours - dropped by 20%. Yesterday everything was ok, today can not make any phonecalls.
It says - call ended. Can not answer any calls - other side gets voice mail.
Wiped all data, cache, dalvik and system. Flashed once again - it's the same - no phonecalls possible

I haven't got any problem with neither calls or battery. Hope you get it sorted out. It's a nice rom.

I gave the ROM a 3rd shot yesterday. For now everything seems to be ok. Indeed it's fast, stable and very nice. Now I have to fine tune it and hope it's gonna work

That bug isnt specific to this ROM. Samsung cloud doesnt work with any custom ROM.

For now it's really hard to say. Last time it was 19h 46min running time with 2h 41 min of SoT. But there was a lot of configuring, tuning, installing apps, testing.
So this may be inconclusive. Good to hear that GPS now is fixed. I had to use it today and it was complete mess

What is XOSP and how was it born?
XOSP basically which stands for the Xperia Open Source Project was a project originally created by me (@nilac) for the Galaxy S+ (my old device) and the project was created like 2 years ago when that time XOSP wasn't even existing. It was just S+ Reborn. The main idea was to create a custom minimal Xperia based ROM, by including the essential things which a user would normally use from a ROM.
The S+ Reborn became to be a big success because it was eventually ported on different Xperia Phones and some other Samsung devices so from there the XOSP project was founded. From the XOSP Project also the Reborn add-ons were created featuring with an Aroma Installer. I worked on the project for 2 years trying always to improve it constantly, eventually for the fact that LP on my Galaxy S+ became to be quite buggy i decided to stop the development and for about half of year the project was left in standby till I decided to bring it back again on the Zenfone 2 devices.
The project started growing again so with the Release 4 the project will be completely refactored to XOSP

I've got a different type of releasing, I will not provide weekly builds but just let me show you how the revisions and release type works: The revisions refers like to a sort of Nightly thing I mean the changes included in the ROM are small not as a Release one. Hey just want to ask does this ROM have battery drain as like RR .battery drain is because of the cellular network red lines bug ( although I have full signal in the status bar )

In general works fine (smoother than standard A3 2016 Nougat). Speed with optimized kernel is noticeable (but one should not expect miracles .
Unfortunately settings app keeps crashing when attempting to set pin for the lock screen,i.e. once I set up the pin - the security for lockscreen still remains as "swipe" and any attempt to change/update settings/pin results in a settings up crash.

Any chance for a workaround of the pin-crash? (Deleting lockscreen config in /data/system/lockscreen*.* while rooted gets me back to initial setup with "Swipe" and all starts over again).

Ok for always on display it's normal, I will remove it on the next build.
AOD is on kernel. And we need to port this feature in kernel, impossible to port.
We found others bug, when you play video from galerie, the video stuck it's the same problem as camera. And we can't set pin code for lockscreen.
And we can't turn on the radio ( it's already fixed thanks @By Zonik)
All of those bug will be fixed in the next build

These issues are coming up just because of you guyz r using N8 apps, which has 64 bit libs and you need 32 bit libs for J7 15

Test the sound. I flashed the root and no sound, event after many reboots. I flashed without root and system boot into Recovery. To solve i have used this procedure
Flash without root - no reboot - flash refined kernel - reboot.
Now the sound is ok

I have 2 things to mention this is a great clean room but its missing some cool features
First of all can you add something like an auto-unlock when you introduce the pin? or auto unlock with the screen off with the fingerprint ?
Another thing is that battery isn't that good ... I have a brand new cellphone and it gets drained battery in like 4 hours or less even if I dont use it.

Maybe a little bit
Edit: try refined jernel 2.5 the latest version can cause battery drain in stand by (i'm not sure but i think this can be the problem)
Hi, Leo, I've installed the rom. I am with a problem that I don't remember that was before flash the rom: the screen is waking up everytime I take the device in the hands. Do you know how to fix it? I've already see all the options in settings and nothing change that. Even checking the option to prevent the screen to accidentally waking up when the device is in the pocket. What do I do? Thanks.

now im testing on j530f ,i installing succesfully and now im on samsung boot logo whaiting to boot .
working ok on that model ,now i think i can use sm-j530g roms.

- If you come from stock rom, probably encryption is active, you need to format data partition in twrp-wipe menu
Flash rom and boot (first boot may take 15-20 min)
If you face any lags/hangs at first boot, reboot 2-3 times and it will be fixed
uncheck diagnostic data in setting wizard

Q: How to report bugs?
A: If you want to report a bug make sure you include:
-device variant / modem version / bootloader version / region
-detailed info about the encountered issue
-steps to reproduce the bug

Q: How to take logs?
A: Download Logcat Extreme and take a look at this.
Q: Phone is showing YYY model but my phone is ZZZ model, is that normal?
A: Yes, that is very normal and very intented. Do not change it or you will break features.
Q: TWRP can't mount data partition, what to do?
A: Make sure you formatted data partition if your previous rom was stock.
Q: Phone is not booting even after 20 minutes?
A: Try to reboot. If still not booting, make sure you formatted data partition if your previous rom was stock.
Q: How to format data partition?
A:
Q: Phone is asking to reboot because sim changed, what should i do?
A: Reboot once and see if it appears again. If yes reboot again.
Q: Phone asks to wipe data because operator changed, should i wipe?
A: Try to cancel and just reboot. If you can't do that or the popup still appear, reflash the rom and wipe in Aroma installer.
Q: GPS not finding my location, what to do?
A: Install GPS Test, enable location services from settings, go outside and wait for 20 minutes.

No, It's been disabled in the stock ROM as well but I've checked and the hardware required for the other sim is there and since its just a re-branded A520F, Is there a way I can flash the A520F stock bootloader ?
Another question, why can't I flash the other custom ROMs like Lineage? It just gets stuck in patching system uncondtionallly but can flash your ROM.

Only me? Left hardware button recents not showing, any solution, can' t enable it in settings, does' nt change a thing. Great rom dow!!
Issues with calling. Other person on other side hears distorted voice. Is there anything to do with volume steps but didn't find that option

We can't disable it
Hey.... This is a great rom.. Provides most of the features..
Just found something buggy.. If I try switching recent style as oreo and back to pie.. The Nav bar stays the old way.. Unable to get back the Nav pill...
This absolutely best pie rom tons of customisation and good battery backup . the only bug I found is with (casting to tv) hope it fix in next update ... Thank you for bring this rom to our device
Everything work
I've used this ROM for a week
And my personal experience
Awesome customizations, good work about the Os and it's working, for the first day I find nothing wrong in it,
But later after 1st day I've seen the mobile hanging a lot and heating too
And there is no split screen option, even Instagram ain't working well, I've to close and restart the app to see pics or to sent messages, and the battery capacity turned down when I compare it to my last ROM ,
And so many hanging moments so need to fix these

As far as I can see it's rounded corner options and a lot of new QS tile styles. And new boot animation of course :0)
How is the battery doing??
