The off grid power shell with wireless charging charges without the phone. - Moto Z2 Force Accessories

I pulled out an old wireless charging pad and it works without the phone. It could be useful if you use more than one mod.

Uhhh, yes it does, that is correct. Has for the past year.

Question about droid bionic

i have noticed that the droid bionic, i don't know if it is just mine but i have notice that it is sensitive when i comes to chargers. like i have this charger that runs on 4 aa batteries and it goes to a plugin usb tip and it charges the usb device, when i use this charger it does seem to notice it at all and it does charge my phone. also i just built this car charger out of pieces and it works but once again my phone does not notice it. can it be forced to notice it or something like that through an app. can some one help me out tell me what is up im running my phone on stock rom and its rooted.
Have you checked the power output on the charger that you made? The output voltage may be out of spec and the phone is refusing it. Stock Motorola chargers output 5.1v at 850mA. Bionics are a bit power-hungry so if you're not putting out at least that much juice you're going to have a problem.
There's not going to be an app that can change something that's a hardware-related function. Either the pins are receiving power or they're not.
well the charger i made has 4 ports two female normal usb and the other is a micro plug and a mini plug i check the power on the female plugs and they are doing 5.3 i think and i have no way to check the micro and the mini but i would think that would be the same and the charger that is on batteries is 6.? v.

Well it appears the problem is not with your phone, but with your chargers. I suggest you get some sort of capacitor that will allow the power to build up to what the phone requires in order to charge. At least it should work in theory. Never did do the greatest in that class.

Fast Wireless Charging pad stopped working

All of sudden my Samsung Fast Wireless Charging pad is not working at all for my S7 Edge? I've tried 2 OEM cables, and nothing. A different cable, and still nothing. Could it be a software problem? Could there have been any apps I might've disabled that allowed the fast charger to work? All the fast charging options are set to ON in settings, but nothing is working. No lights, nothing? Need help thanx.

I know it sounds like the obvious, but did you try a different adopter . I am having no issues and have the latest updates
yes I have tried 3 different adapters. 2 fast charging and 1 regular.
Do you have any other device that is capable of wireless charging? It doesn't have to be fast charge capable but that's where i would start to see if its the phone or the actual charger.
If not then go somewhere that has wireless chargers out, like best buy or your carrier and set your phone on it to see if it starts charging. If it doesn't start charging then it might be your phone.
Its most likely the wireless charger that having the issue though, and you can contact Samsung support on twitter @samungSupport and they should be able to help you out.
So I tried Samsung's twitter support. And apparently the Galaxy S7 Edge (SM-G935) isn't compatible with that fast charging pad. Although it worked for a couple weeks. So weird.
I just exchanged my note 7 for S7 edge and looking into buying this fast wireless charging pad https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product...act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE, it's not this one that stopped working or is it?
Hey, do the downgrade to PE1 with full wip, and put 100%, your working fast charging. Good luck. To me it helped.
Is there another phone you can try on your charging pad, or another pad you can try? The most likely answer is that the charging pad has failed.
Samsung Wireless Qi Fast Charger
I really like to purchase the Samsung Fast Qi fast wireless charger
but I have a few questions about it before I buy one.
#1: How much slower is the fast wireless Qi charger when compared to
the samsung fast usb charger which comes with the phone?
#2: Does the phone get hot or very warm when it's charging wirelessly?
#3: Does the phone charge slower when it has a case on it?
Thanks in advance,
Have a great day!

adaptive fast wireless charging car dock

It's there a adaptive fast wireless charging car dock that Doesn't block the buttons and the headphone back port
The Samsung wireless charger doesn't support fast wireless charging and blocks the headphone jack
And while the Qi-infinity charger supports fast wireless charging it blocks the port

Well this is what I use and I like it.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00UXS7958/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I don't think it's a fast charger though. I'll have to try it again and see. But I like it nonetheless. I have access to all of the ports and buttons as well.
I actually do not get the reason why you would need a headphone jack in a car.
A wireless charger does take much money, especially when you want nothing blocked.
When you want to use your phone for music using aux, maybe it's better to get a radio supporting Bluetooth.
It does not interfere with the wireless charging and costs the half of the price as a charger that does what you want.
Just my 50cents.

This is Samsung's fast charging wireless charger. It doesn't block any ports or buttons. You'll need to buy the Samsung vehicle adapter that does fast charge as well to power it:

I use this exact one in my truck, it's flat, holds the phone horizontal, and my phone never falls off. Are you sure you're not thinking of the one that holds the phone vertical?

I know what you're saying now. I had the wireless charger for the S5 and 3D printed a cradle to keep it from being able to slide around on it. I've been trying to find an easy solution for the charger I posted but because of its size it would take a lot of work for me to design something that would work well.

wireless charging style shell actually reduces battery instead of charging

So I slapped on the wireless charging style shell and put the phone on a wireless charger before even turning it on for the first time. The screen lit up and told me the phone was charging with the battery at 66%. I let it sit for half an hour then check it again by tapping the power button. The battery is now at 58% and falling. So much for that. Phone isn't even on and the battery is being used instead of charging the device.

Mine works fine with the tumi battery mod.. I'm using the Samsung fast charge wireless charger
I have the wireless charging mod and it charges fine.. not as fast as my s8 but good enough.
I was listening to music on the JBL mod with the phone plugged in. I took the phone off the chager and left the mod on. 10 minutes later the phone was at 98% from doing literally nothing. Typically I lose about 1% every 2½ hours when then phone is on standby. I'm guessing the mod is trying to charge itsef using the phone.
I have the Moto Style Shell with wireless charging and use a few different wireless charging pads (at work right now and have the LG WCP-300) and have had no problem using any of them. You might want to go into the Moto Mods Manager and check if there is a software update, my current software version is 0.55. If you software version is up to date then maybe a restart of the mod is necessary.

S8+ pie fast wireless charging

Ok I have these 2 fast wireless chargers that worked previously before updates. They are not Samsung and have their own power supply. They did fast charger fine but now with the update it seems fast wireless charging is hidden under an acessories menu under advanced features. Well on my Galaxy s8 plus from T-Mobile.. there is no acessories menu.
So I can't enable it.. and it seems these chargers are not making it appear.. and again I swear they are capable of of charging this phone.
So I need some back door method of enabling fast wireless charging or the acessories menu. Perhaps through adb.
Anyone got any ideas?
I have S8+ with tmobile and its there.
Maybe do I wipe possibly?
But yeah it's in accessories and mine is enabled. Sounds like a faulty update?
And my wireless charger is fast charging but not as fast as wired fast charging.

Yea I think that for some reason the 3rd party wireless charger is not kicking in the option after this update. As before it was already enabled and working fine. I know the charger does indeed fast wireless charge this phone as it has all the standards and has done so in the past.. probably the only way for me to get around this is to use someone else's official Samsung fast charger to enable the accessories setting
