Does anyone make a full wrap for note 8? - Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Accessories

I was trying to find a full clear skin or wrap but can't find one that covers the sides as well. Slick wraps has a naked skin, but only covers the back.

I just picked up the same along with a easy on off case to protect the back similar to what I'm using now.
Got %10 off the screen protectors too

I got the Skinomi full coverage. It just shipped yesterday.
They cover everything, including the sides.

You can also purchase it on Amazon.

@billinaz thanks for the information. I ordered this to protect the Note 8 when I get it Tuesday. I'm a bit behind the power curve on accessories for the Note 8 as I was ramped up for the Essential Phone. However, that turned out to be a huge fiasco for me and still is for many others. Anyway, glad that is behind me and looking forward to give a Sammy product q try again as the last one was Note 4. Hope I can get used to Touch Wiz again. After Note 4 I went to Nexus 6P and then Pixel XL so I'm somewhat spoiled on easily rooted phones that get quick updates. Guess I'll just have to adjust to slower updates but hopefully a great camera and did miss the S pen. Going to try to go unrooted and see how it goes. If it goes bad I'll pass Note 8 to family member and pick up Pixel 2 XL.

anyone know if they are going to make one for note 2
Have you tried contacting them? Usually they won't have one until it is released in the US.

They put protector tint on my ex galaxy s III back door. It was excellent job.
Is it worth using it instead of a case for body protection?

In the Galaxy Note 10.1 forums, many complain that the Zagg feels terrible with the rubbery S Pen tip. Drags a lot, they recommended those crystal clear ones like those from ClearPlex. I dont think they have one for the note II yet tho.

There are a number of them available from Amazon. The Galaxy Note Zagg/BodyGuardz had the same issue.

I hope best skins ever make one for note 2 I allways use them much better than zagg and cheaper.
If I'm not mistaken, doesn't the user manual recommend NOT using a screen protector? Something about it interfering with the S-Pen.
But yeah, I'd go with something other than the invisibleshield, as stated above it adds a lot of friction (in my experience) and you get a sort of orange-peel effect.
FYI looks like they ship 10/24-10/26 for those who were waiting

Ok, call me crazy, but I find myself wondering how much use I will get out of the pen. I am used to android and navigating with my fingers. As well my ipad too.
What about the zagg HD it feels just like glass compared to normal or anti-glare zagg I don't think it will feel too rubbery. I've had zagg since my hero days and I love them. I'm waiting for US release of GN2 and I'm pretty sure I'm going to get zagg HD for it as long as one comes out for it. I'll report back and let you guys know how it is.

In my experience the Xtremeguard quality was less than stellar. I've tried a few wet application urethane manufacturers and found the Xoskins were excellent with good customer support, but they are more expensive.

As an FYI, the skin protectors are good against scratches not drops. I know it's common sense but I had a perfectly self applied zagg shield on my Nexus One and it fell off my night stand and the screen broke. After that I went out and bought a Seidio Surface Case and haven't looked back.
They had a Zagg skin on the display model of the original note I tried out at Target and it really didn't work very well with the S-pen, as stated too much drag, felt awful. Something between that feel and the too slick feel of the naked screen would be perfect. I thought I had that right after applying the Spigen Ultra Crystal, it was just right initially but it became as slick as the glass after a little finger oil accumulated.
Keep away from this guys the zagg for note2 really not good i hv bought one from bestbuy before yesterday and i have regret to buy, toutching is not good, all not good at all, i just west 27 usd for nothing, ill go and buy sgp from amazon

Sprint Store Screen Protector Quality

I really hate applying screen protectors and I always seem to mess it up. I know Sprint will apply it if you buy it from them. ANyone have experience with their protectors?
Yeah, the only ones that had at sprint when I bought mine turned out to be the square type that JUST cover the active screen portion. This significantly reduces the effectiveness of the S-Pen. (It catches on the side, making it rather hard to write or do anything closeto the edges of the screen for me.)
I recommend one of the better designed ones that covers more of the bezels so that your spen doesnt get caught up around the sides.
For what it's worth, I got the Sprint protectors and they are good but only cover the actual screen.
If you want to apply your own, turn the shower on the hottest setting for 10 minutes and then turn it off. Apply the screen protector in your bathroom now. The steam pulls the dust out of the air and allows you to get a perfect placement

Thanks guys, I'll just take it to the Ghost Armor kiosk in the mall...they'll do it for me.
I'm running that one for now until zagg makes hd for it. It is not that bad in my opinion, it's smooth and clear. But it only covers screen and gets really bad micro scratches but those aren't noticeable with the screen on. Also the aforementioned possibility of the pen catching it when near the edges. Pen runs smooth across it though. Comes with 2 clear and a matte one.

Best Buy already has the HD Zagg, I think it was $25, not 100% positive on that, may be $20. Saw it in there store in the mall a few days ago but didn't have the funds on me to grab it, planning to go back.

I'm looking at these myself...have a question for you. Do you know if these have an actual matte finish or are they smooth/clear? I can't decide whether to go with these or the Ultra Crystal from them or the Ultra Oleophobic. I'd rather a smooth, clear, unnoticeable finish rather than a matte finish.

My thoughts exactly. Just not sure why anyone would go with the Crystal instead of the Oleophobic if they're both clear but one is oil resistant.

So far they don't work. I bought two. One of them was a super guardz brand and the other a vetroo. The adhesive is only used on the edges and the top and bottom so it's not like the usual tempered glass that sticks to the screen with an adhesive that's all over the protector. They're very flimsy and click a lot and won't work with a case. I preordered the OtterBox defender and I'm waiting the 1-2 months that it will take for it to come. I will be careful until then.

Xtremeguard wet apps are great for the price and stuck well to the corners. Some cases will still push it up tho.
Skinomi has the best full body protection I've seen so far, but will only work with certain cases too.
Tempered glass protectors have yet to work on any edge device to my knowledge.
Samsung official pet/dry film protectors look like they have a great fit as well, but will have issues with lifting from most cases too.
Hope some of that helps dude.
I'm using Skinomi TechSkin Full Coverage with Spigen Thin Fit case.

On your recommendation, that's what I'm getting until things shake out a little more. I was going to be patient until my Spigen case came in but it arrived 6 days early, lol! Now I just want to put the Note 4 away and slap a sim in the 7! I could go back to T-Mob and have them put something on, but they just pissed me off!
I have been reading that none of the curved screen protectors out now work. They are saying that they only have adhesive on the sides. Hope they will come out with one that works good.
Screen protector case combos are slim to none on phone. Spigen worked well with the skinomi, leaving edges in tact, however the bezel covers made it much harder (than the s7 edge) to get on. Overall fit and feel are good, providing better clarity and original feel compared to xtremeguard. Product fails for me because it was $30+ and the side protection was useless. I would rather spend my cash with xtremeguard and get quintuple the product. One corner refuses to go down, and is gonna bug the living hell out of me. Definitely paying for the name and advertising with this one.
Will add a few pics later on.
After searching Amazon and other sources, I decided to go with a temporary solution for now. None of the reviews can be trusted yet.

The OtterBox tempered glass screen protector in this video looks interesting because it is cut smaller so it won't interfere with cases. Unfortunately, it is the most expensive of the bunch. (I am not affiliated with the video creator in any way.)

Yeah i think we all need to find a screen protector cause excuse my language but this is complete bull****. My phone has so many niks & scratches on it that it sickens me. The problem is that the Redmi Note 4 has a slightly curved screen, no cheap tempered glass would cover all of the screen, unless there's a specially designed curved tempered glass for this phone, which not gonna be cheap, like this $55 one from Zagg for the Galaxy S7 Edge: http://www.zagg.com/us/en_us/invisi...xy-s7-edge/glass-curve-samsung-galaxy-s7-edge
Personally I use a no-brand $1 tempered glass, cheapest one I could find, because in my experience with a tempered glass protectors, I would usually dent, chip, or break them in 3-4 months time (that's why I ordered 3 of them in one go). But with that said, I always wondered how is the quality on the Nillkin, as they sell their tempered glass for almost $10.
Does anyone know, which protection glass xiaomi used if any for redmi note 4? Thnx.
Hi All,
I received this Tempered glass screen protector as a gift upon purchase of my phone.
As you can see from the pics attached it is around 3mm short of the edge all the way round, I understand that you need to take into account the 2.5 curved edge but it doesn't even come close to that edge.
I haven't put it on yet as it feels quite thick & I would think it feels quite bad when your finger drops off the edge.
Can someone else that has received a glass for the RN4 upload pics of theirs & compare the gaps, I'm wondering this one is wrong & not for the RN4.
Edit:
Added pic without the Tpu cover on the phone for comparison.

You think yours is bad check mine out!! Messaged the seller (via ebay) and they sent a new one in the post, only problem is that its exactly the same, so now ive got two screen protectors that dont fit! Ive a feeling its for the Redmi 4 and not the Note 4 which would make sense as the label looks like its 'Redmi 4' but it should be 'Redmi Note 4'.

Thinking of ordering this one as its 'edge to edge' and so should at least fit across the whole screen. Or failing that just a film plastic one would do. The whole 2.5 glass thing is cool but a disaster with screen protection, I had the exactly same issue with the galaxy s7. I actually thought the regular S7 would be less problematic that the S7 edge but i was wrong.

No its ok, ive got two and will just stick them together and they'll cover the screen lol
That one you linked looks decent, maybe the soft edge will help when using with cases, as I know with the S7, there were the same kind of issues. Like the standard screen protectors didnt cover the screen properly but the full screen ones popped up when used with certain types of cases, so the soft edge might help.

I don't think they can make it any bigger because of the 2.5d roll away of glass that slowly tapers off, that would make a gap underneath I think.

It's the annoying thing about 2.5D displays, although it does feel/look nice and smooth, it seems well fitting glass screen protectors are impossible to get/make. I would gladly go back to a flat edged screen. In fact 2.5D glass and bezeless screens are two trends/features that I would be happy enough to see the back of. Im still waiting on some film and glass protectors arriving, just cheap ones of eBay so not holding out much hope of them being good, but I would be happy with just a plastic film protector just to try to stop minor scratches.

Agreed, & with the inevitable introduction of flexible screens in 2018 tempered glass will be out the window & will probably be back to some type of plastic lol.

Happy New Year to you too! Still another 20mins to go here in the UK. :highfive:

I don't think they can make it any bigger because of the 2.5d roll away of glass that slowly tapers off, that would make a gap underneath I think.
I have this & it's nearly perfect:
Can't get a good pic because it just looks like the face of the phone.

True but the one I posted didn't event cover all angles of the screen. I am still with the plastic that came on it but it's getting bubbly on the corners so I need a solution. Lol.
Happy new year!

Are you pre-ordering your Note 8 Accessories?

http://www.mobilefun.com/64578-olixar-galaxy-note-8-case-compatible-glass-screen-protector-black.htm
I'm thinking of getting these for the note 8 if it ends up looking like the mock up images (which I think is fairly likely). Any other suggestions? Is anyone else preordering?
Oh yes. I always have screen protector and case in hand before I order any phone.
I just get cheapies to tide me over until what I really want comes out. So far the "MoKo Flexible TPU Bumper" case and the "G-Color (wet application)" screen protector (2-pack).
I assume that Whitestone will release a glass protector in the near future and I like the Samsung Clear View cases. I might be able to order the Clear View case when I pre-order the phone, but you never know, so I spent the $8 on the MoKo case.
Yes I will order good case and screen protector.
Since we have about 2 weeks before the note 8 shows up, I will keep creeping the xda forums for ideas and most likely order thru Amazon a few days before the phone shows up. I am lucky now to not work outside all day so my phones are at less risk.

Don't order your case from Samsung with the same order as the phone otherwise the phone may get delayed if the case is not available.
I'm buying those cheap deals before launch so that it's not nude when I get it. Then I'll take my time to pick up the better stuff.
I want the Alcantara case
i did...
pre ordered the alcantara case plus the VR headset. will pick up the 360 camera for free through promo.
Just went back and ordered the Alcantara case, really sounds cool, plus I live that material, have seen it in cars before and it's great.

I preordered it here http://www.mobilefun.com/64792-whitestone-dome-glass-galaxy-note-8-full-cover-screen-protector.htm
Are those Whitestone glass screens legit? Seems a little bit gimmicky with uv curing and all.

I don't know if it's a gimmick and it does seems a little strange to me. This is my first curved edge phone (had the note 7 for only a short amount of time) that I plan to put a screen protector on. I want to get tempered glass because I want it to be super smooth for S-Pen. I heard that with other protectors they only have adhesive on the edge which can cause a loss in touch sensitivity. I don't know how true it is but I decided to try this one because it has adhesive over the whole thing. I found this video https://youtu.be/-fbZ9HtcYOA to be the deciding factor for me.
The edge screens have made a mess of the screen protector market. Thanks for the link.

I preordered the Grey Alacantra case. I seen that with those cases most of the screen protectors offered will not work
together. I want the Whitestone protector but dont want to waste money if they dont work together.... Any thoughts
on these predicaments?
I'm eyeballing the Whitestone screen protector, but I'll probably get something less spendy to start with, until I determine which case I'm going to get and can confirm that the Whitestone will work with it. I'll likely get a cheapish case (practical, but not fancy) until I see what's available.
