Need help with a module to set sRGB to 1 under /sys/class/graphics/fb0 - Magisk

Trying to create a magisk module to run a script which sets sRGB to 1 for custom roms on the OP5 which do not allow this display option but I cannot get it to work
This zip is not a magisk module.
Is what I am trying to do possible?
Attached the module for help.

The files and folders need to be in the root of the zip, not inside a folder.

Doh!

Right got that bit working but it doesn't seem to run the script.
Updated the first post with the amended zip.

Moderators please close thread I got it working now.

i'm waiting too
downgrade + OTA survival ?
Did you try to downgrade, root, set OTA survival and reflash .253?
EDIT: Doesn't work.
As eager as you're to root, this is not the forum to post in. This is a development forum so please use the Q & A from next time.
If i update my 350 via ota to 434 and after to 253 i lose the root?

So from your perpsective, rooting methods and tools should be posted in Q&A ? Asking for a rooting tool in Q&A, no devs will ever see it.
You see, there are rules we need to follow. A development forum is where a developer or a contributor posts. Requests are entertained in the Q&A only. Also, if someone does manage to root the new firmware, it'll be up on the development forum. I have nothing against requests, just try to keep the forums organised.

A solution that works

Maybe OP can change title to SOLVED or better FW.253 ROOTED ?
The solution is not from me, so don't forget to thank the rightful users/devs who did it.
Here are direct links to the "guide" to make it work, until OP is updated:
To install .253 rooted:

To fix reboot issues:

Don't forget to thanks the OP and user who posted that solution.

Don't understand the fix reboot part
only create the file with notepad named "install-recovery.sh" and put it into the path in the flashable zip?

[Q] Trickdroid users events slideshow themes

I've posted this question in the ROM thread but seeing its massive size and possibly the under use of this feature I know its gone unnoticed hopefully someone here can help.
Great ROM but when I try to select one of the newer slideshow themes I get an error?
says error retrieving files - permissions error?
Or maybe someone has a download for the potentially missing files.
Thank you

Can someone point me to the location where these files maybe kept?
Bumping for visibility.
No one else uses this feature?

Use the flow chart from post #2 in this thread to identify the correct framework for your device (links to the corresponding threads are given below the flow chart). Download the framework from its corresponding thread, download the xposed_installer_alphaX.apk (where X is the current version number) from here and put both files on your SD card. The installation process is described in the first post of each thread.
i will do this process than it show signature verification failed

What custom recovery do you use? TWRP is the recommended one, as other recoveries have the "signature verification" issue you are facing. Use TWRP instead.
we use CWM recovery mode
I use CWM recovery mode and How to install TWRP recovery mode please give me the solution

It's quite easy: open Google (or any search engine you like) and type in:
your-device-name TWRP
If there is no TWRP available for your device, there is no way for you to get Xposed working at the moment.
My recommendation for you: don't flash Xposed, as you are clearly not able to research/solve the easiest things by your own. Xposed is for advanced users.
give me the solution
You said that this is a easiest thing so you give me the solution

Really? I just gave you some advices so you can search for a solution by yourself. If you can't do so, I am of no further help for you (and neither will anyone else here on XDA).
You have no solution
If you have any solution so why you giving me advices so give me solution

Your behaviour is so disrespectful for everyone who is trying to help you. We do not owe you something, we do this for free. You think you can come to XDA and demand free help from everyone without contributing the smallest amount of willingness to do it by yourself like the majority here? If you aren't willing to learn (at least something about respect), then delete your account and never come back here. This is no place where you come to and demand things by others. This is a place for developers, not for some little kids who want cool stuff or cool phones. Don't like it? Well, too bad, that's none of my business.
You have no solution
But you are developers so developers have all solution..

Developers are not Gods.
The developers are not your slaves. You aren't paying them anything. They are not obliged to pander to you.
If you can't even have the smallest amount of humility in asking for help, then go away and don't come back.
Developers are nor god

I am not saying that developers are Gods. But developers have solution so that is why it is called developers
You have no solution
On you have no solution you are not a developer

Magisk-root uninstalls automatically? [ROOT] [Magisk] [Galaxy S6]

Hello,
I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S6(64GB, Exynos) with Magisk-root. But I have the issue that it automatically uninstalls. And suddenly it’s unroot. Then I have to reinstall the Magisk-vXX.X.zip with TWRP (X.XX is the version, for example: 14.0 or 13.3). But after some hours it is uninstalled again and I lost the root access.
Then I have to repeat this...
Does someone have the same problem? Or does someone know how to fix this?
I don't want to reinstall the Magisk-package everytime i need root-access.. And I don't want to switch to another root because I like the Magisk-hide-function.
Or are there other roots with hide function?
Thank you
Larry
Ask in the Magisk forum and not Xposed, you might have more luck.

[CLOSED] Loading wifi kernel modules from postmarketos asus z00vd's firmware

So, I installed PostmarketOS on an old Asus z00vd Go but I can't make wifi work.
On the chat a guy checked for me the integrity of the image and said that all files needed were already there, but that I had to load kernel modules following these instructions and adapt the kernel modules files' name of the MT6589 chipset to mines (chipset MT6580).
Although, I can't really find the wifi files in my firmware... can somebody help me look it up?
Here are the files located at /sys/firmware/devicetree/base on my Asus z00vd:

Thank you in advance.
