Did anybody get to test with the official Samsung clear cover and protective standing cover ?

I am interested does the whitestone work with Alcantara case?

There's another guy on YouTube that plans on testing more cases. I'm Keeping an eye out for when he does.

according to the list from the second link in this thread the Dome is compatible with the Alcantara case

I just installed the whitestone and am using the alcantara case. It works but the bottom is a cause for concern. The bottom left and right edges actually touch the screen protector. You have to ensure that the left and right flaps come over top the glass, otherwise you will be pushing up against the glass.

Was wondering about this, saw it at Best Buy and noticed those bottom corners came up and over and hit my zag screen protector. Let us know if it ends up pushing that Whitestone off. Thanks!

Be careful when putting the case on. There's not much room around the edges.
I bought the Zizo to be used at work and 2 other cases for home/days off but with not having much room I'm not going to be swapping cases like I was.

This is directly from them:

Also, I believe the Spigens are all cut from the same plan/pattern. The bottom is RIGHT at the case on my phone but not so at the top. If I had it to do over again I would have put some scotch tape on the JIG on the top piece in the area that is the stop for the bottom of the protector. If you don't know what I mean just dry fit it and push the protector to the bottom of the phone Where it contacts the JIG, put the tape there to space it out . This would push it up less than a MM to give more gap and better center it for the spigen cases.

Whitestone + official Samsung rugged protective case = perfect fit so far. But only 4 days so maybe too early

Works perfect with spigen thin fit

Rear glass protector

Hey guys, has anyone found a plastic or glass protector for the back of the Note 5? I've had no luck at all! I've got a clear case coming in the mail to cover the phone and I already have a plastic protector that covers the front, but I'd rather not use a case at all.
I plan on using a clear plastic/glass protector on the front and back of the phone and then get the Rhino Shield Crash Guard bumper for the edges. As far as I know the Rhino Shield isn't out yet. Would be awesome to find a clear thin plastic bumper case too!

I have this. Ringke fusion case comes with front and back. Back is not edge to edge but it does cover across the flat part in back and is cut out for the camera and flash. Suppose to cut out the "rainbow" effect u get from some of the clear back cases. Its definately a case to check out if u are one of us guys who like to have a couple different cases. Its prob my favorite one out of the 3 i have. It was definately my favorite s6 case

I have the Ringke Air but it's going back to amazon. The fit is perfect, it's really light, has a grippy but medium-quality rubber grip, but the left & right sides of the case are too soft & loose. They sometimes lift & peel off when you pick up the phone by its sides. If they made the rubber around the sides a bit rigid, it'd been perfect.

Ringke Slim for sure!
FazeRN I like your way of thinking. There are lots of good choices on the site. I will add a couple. These companies are specialized in power cases with the difference of possibility of upgrading the case even further. You can get upgrades like laser pointers, better camera lenses, environmental sensors, specially designed VR packs etc. Nexpaq and I-blades are the brands that will set the bar for smart cases in the future. Take a look

Spigen Rugged Armor and Nillkin H+ Pro TGSP review

Hey everyone,
As promised here I would share my experience with the Nillkin H+ Pro TGSP.
I originally purchased the combo Sandstone case and TGSP at launch with my 5T and was not happy with the screen being hidden as it was on my 3T and 5 but I knew there would be a while before the third parties offered this so I bought. What I found is the the OEM TGSP was an improvement over the past versions offered by OP but I had problems with sensitivity when pulling the top drawer down.
With both my 3T and 5 I ended up with the Spigen Rugged Armor case and the Nillkin glass which I liked very much for the combo. Many cases had problems with the OEM glass being too big. I did not mind the Nillkin being slightly smaller than the screen. So, I ordered this same combo as soon as it was made available.
For me, the sandstone case is nice but does not offer the protection that I prefer. I now have a lip on the screen and camera where the sandstone case only had a lip on the camera. I'm very happy with the lack of colored lines on the edge of the Nillkin glass!
Please feel free to ask questions.

Tomorrow I'll receive my OP5T and I think I will order this very same combination. I haven't read so far of other good TGSP which fit well with the Spigen case.
I'm also rocking this combo. The screen protector is al you ever wanted. It's a little bit to small but believe me. After two days you won't notice it anymore. Also i have zero bubbels or rainbow effect. It took a month to ship but was worth it.

It takes so long to ship lol. I noticed one thing. When you apply the screen protector you will see a lot of small bubbles on the screen. But you just heve to push hard on them, do it gently and take your time. Mine went from a lot bubbles to none.

Yes you can work them out from the middle just by pushing them middle out. Also the adhesive on the edges can be pressed down and it'll hold.

For those of you who have been using the Nillkin screen protector for a while now. Is it still holding up? Any lifted edges? Still happy with it?

Skin, case or naked?

Just wondering what do you guys use. I've always used a case. But thinking of just using tempered glass with a skin. I know it will be prone to cracking the back. But the skin can cover it right? So I'll just pray the tempered glass saves my screen if I ever drop it. Thoughts?
I use a wet install back film, naked screen, sometimes cases, thin, or heavy type, depending on what I will do or where I will go
I have a Spiegen NeoHybrid, Samsung Alcantera, and Samsung this plastic case that I alternate between. But right now I'm using a DBrand skin on the back of it. I've never been a fan of cases and I'm taking my chances with the skin but it does increase the grip of it compared to the glass back. I don't use a screen protector because I haven't found one that feels quiet the same to write on using the S-Pen compared to a naked display. I feel putting anything on the screen reduces the touch sensitivity as well.
I started with the (official) Samsung Rugged Cover, got tired of the bulk after a couple months and switched to a substantially thinner PEEL case. After about a month realized that the extremely thin PEEL case wasn't offering any better protection than a wrap/skin, I installed a "full body" wrap. That lasted all of about 5 frustrated minutes.
I enrolled in Samsung+ Care and will let them "cover" my beautiful, bare, Note8 should something happen.
I use Samsung's flip case. It gives me protection for the screen and back and it provides a stand for watching videos ... very happy with it!

I always use a case. A relatively thin case but one that gives some protection. I also use a magnetic car mount so I need a case to hold it in place.
Currently using a vrs design high pro shield... But lumion is the same thing and sells cheaper
Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
Started off with the OtterBox Defender and skinomi wet install screen protector but got tired of the hard case removal process with the Defender when using the Gear VR headset. So now I'm using the Official Samsung Rugged Protective case with no screen protection. Haven't had a screen protector on in over a month and still have not a single scratch.
Back protection(wet or dry install) is really great, it guards against all type of particles when you use any type of case!
i use this case. got it from amazon
A good quality slim case with a matching wallpaper is how I always rock. Change the colors every few weeks to keep it fresh...

I have the case and it's really good. A nice tight solid feel to it, grippy and feels very nice. Just ordered that screen protector too!
Spigen tempered glass update:
Fits great but just does not fully adhere. There is not a single speck of dust under the screen protector and so that part of the installation went fine, but despite endless squeegee'ing those bubbles just keep coming back. It's not air that's trapped underneath but instead the screen protector just lifts back up. As you can see, all the bubbles are exactly on the edge of the screen and haven't formed on the bezel etc.
It fits great and feels nice, but the being unable to remove the bubbles is a deal breaker.
