Just noticed something wierd on my G5s Plus XT1805.. Does it support wireless charging?
if you go to Settings > Sound > Other sounds you'll see theres an option to set On/Off wireless charging sound
Looks like a bug- the backplate of the G5S is metal and wireless charging can't work as such.
I suspect this is just based on standard code that's included in Android. You can turn on/off the phone's ability to play wireless charging sounds all you like, but it's not going to actually play them unless it has wireless charging.

Start music, set Note5 on charger, music stops to ring-a-ding that it's charging.
I searched around in notifications and battery, but didn't see any settings for disabling the sound. Did I miss something, or do I have to try to manage my music without picking up the phone off the charging plate?
a friend gave me a Samsung turbocharger dual voltage: 5V and 9V
how can I do to disable this function on my moto x xt1092 and use it as a normal charger ?? as soon as I connect it to the phone immediately became fast charging, without the possibility to deactivate it and use that normal

as title says just stopped working all of a sudden....no new updates or anything llike that. Tried different wireless charger and nothing and tried a different phone and it worked so isnt the charger. Any settings Im missing to turn wireless charging on or off?
There is an on off switch for wireless charging in settings, but I'm assuming you've tried that.
Does it work when the phone is off?
I've never seen an on/off switch for wireless charging on my Note 8 or my Note 5. The only switch I have seen is to turn on/off fast charging for wireless or cable charging.
In Settings>Accessories there's an option to enable fast wireless charging. It doesn't change wireless charging itself, but only the speed. You might try toggling that on and off to see if that helps.
Those of you with the Samsung LED wallet case: When you place/remove it from a wireless charger, do you see an LED battery icon showing on the front of the case at all? I noticed that I do get an battery and percentage icon when I physically plug/unplug the phone, but not when using wireless charging.
nope! the case uses NFC and might interfere with the coils used for wireless charging. You'll notice that the LED case needs to turn off for charging to start/work. Say you get a message while it's on the charger you'll see that the thing stop charging while the case lights up.
Ok I have these 2 fast wireless chargers that worked previously before updates. They are not Samsung and have their own power supply. They did fast charger fine but now with the update it seems fast wireless charging is hidden under an acessories menu under advanced features. Well on my Galaxy s8 plus from T-Mobile.. there is no acessories menu.
So I can't enable it.. and it seems these chargers are not making it appear.. and again I swear they are capable of of charging this phone.
So I need some back door method of enabling fast wireless charging or the acessories menu. Perhaps through adb.
Anyone got any ideas?

Yea I think that for some reason the 3rd party wireless charger is not kicking in the option after this update. As before it was already enabled and working fine. I know the charger does indeed fast wireless charge this phone as it has all the standards and has done so in the past.. probably the only way for me to get around this is to use someone else's official Samsung fast charger to enable the accessories setting
