How to enable this or work only for sms apps default
It's in phone settings > notification & statusbar > app notifications. Just enable light notifications for the apps you want there.
Thanks problem resolved

maybe in your sound settings or in the settings in the sms app?
SMS app -> Settings -> Notifications -> Vibrate
Anyone else had issues with notifications on this phone? I used to get notifications in my notification bar whenever someone messaged me on Snapchat but after resetting my phone I don't get any notifications. I hear the sound of a new message but nothing comes up on my notification bar. Help???
have you been in
settings -> apps¬ifications -> notifications management -> batch management
and checked if all are enabled/disabled?
I just updated my Note9 to the OneUI (AndroidPie) but I dont like the notifications of Whatsapp. I dont a head-pop notification but I want to change as the normal top of screen notification just like the other apps.
Can someone help me? I have been researching about this for a week now.
Settings -> Advanced features -> Smart pop-up view -> disable whatsapp.

Champion! :highfive:
I simply don't get heads up notifications from Facebook Messenger. All other apps are showing notifications properly. What could be the cause of this? I have checked all the settings and they should come. Now my phone only plays a notification sound and inserts Messenger icon in the status bar. Are heads-up notifications working for you?
Hi all,
I'm having to resort to posting here before I pull all of my hair out.
I'm running stock MIUI 13(.0.10). In the Gmail app, my account settings have notifications set to 'all'. The 'manage notifications' button that brings up the system settings has notifications enabled (sound, vibrate on). Sync is set to last 30 days, and enabled. General settings > manage notifications has everything enabled through the system settings as well. Apps > Gmail > Battery Saver is set to no restrictions.
What am I missing? It's not that it's not alerting to notifications but they still appear, they are just not present at all. I manage multiple inboxes through my primary Gmail account, and this is hugely annoying.
