This will work for European exynos. If the framework is not compatible it shouldn't make any changes to the system. Only an error appeared.
Maybe someone can tell it's not possible or compatible to Snapdragon. I don't know for sure! It is recommended to backup device before you install Xposed.
Get latest Xposed installer. Choose version 88.2. If you have root and BusyBox installed, the installer will possibly install the framework by itself. Then reboot.
Else you need a custom recovery TWRP and flash in recovery. When no problems the system will boot up normally. Maybe it takes some extra time to boot first time.

Need help solving this wierd issue.

Hi everyone.
I have a Huawei Honor 4x (Che2-L11) and today i flashed TWRP succesfully on it after so many soft bricks. But now i cant flash any file with it. I tried flashing super SU and xposed framework, both installed fine but the phone failed to boot (I was stuck at the Honor logo) so i had to uninstall xposed (When i installed superSU i had to reflash system.img)
How can i root my damn phone?
Update: I have now rooted my phone with BETA-SuperSU-v2.74-2-20160519174328-forced-systemless.zip
You have bootloop now?! After you rooted
Um nope its all good, cant install xposed though.
Try another xposed version
I have the Kirin 620 version and there is only version for that (Android 6)

Someone posted in honor 7 thread that v85 worked fine compared to v86 which had problems.
May be you can give that a try.
Okay, i'll give it a shot
Ok i managed to install the older version but now i get "xposed framework version 85 is installed, but not active, please check logs for details"

May be it has something to do with the systemless root. I am not sure. Sorry buddy...:crying:

I myself had to leave Xposed alone coz emui does behave weirdly when I install Xposed on my honor 7.
Sometimes random reboots, sometimes settings not working and sometimes dialer.
It's probably due to some not properly built libs, like touchwiz or on xperia devices.
deleted
If it doesn't work try another version
Fixed it??

Xposed

Good day all
Will xposed work on Note 8 (N950FD)?
Thanks in advance
I would guess that an installer for an S8+ might work since it is basically the same device. Since rooting with TWRP and SuperSU I've flashed a few things meant for S8 devices and they either work properly as is or with very minor script tweaking.

Hello with xposed what stuff is actually working and is it stable at all for daily use please?

Which root do you have—SuperSU or Magisk? I have Magisk, so tried with 26-07-17-xposed-systemless-v87-sdk25-by-PurifyOS.zip but that throws me into a bootloop directly?
How did you proceed chronologically?
First the Xposed apk (which one?), then flash the Purify zip? Did you wipe anything before or after, data or cache? I've read many conflicting reports, since you've done it should be possible to replicate it…

No wipe at all... The device restarted normaly with no issue..

Hey guys,
Trying to install the systemless XPosed for Nougat on my Note 8, but for some reason, after installation, it stops my 256GB Exynos Note 8 from booting up. Was able to recover it by running the Magisk uninstaller via TWRP.
Noticed that on the official XPosed thread, it states that it'll 'cause boot loop issues on stock Samsung ROM, but on the Systemless XPosed Page, it claims the SDK 24 and 25 are universal, so, what's wrong?
Any suggestions on getting systemless XPosed working on my Exynos Note 8 with Nougat? I especially want the systemless variant as it allows easy on/off whenever I'm going shopping and want to use Android Pay instead of having to uninstall all modules.

Help with instaling Xposed...

I'm trying to flash Xposed on my device (its an mtk6735 device, using a custom rom ported from the meizu m2, android 6.0), I've tried installing xposed but whenever i try to do so, xposed installer says that xposed is installed but not active, I've tried researching about the issue and tried the common fixes suggested on XDA and other forums, to no avail. One clue that I do have is that my device is an arm64 device but when i try flashing the arm64 zip, it says that my device is arm hence i should use that zip, I'm sure mine is an arm64 device cause I've researched and used apps to confirm it, so to flash xposed i used the arm zip but that causes the issue "xposed is installed but not active", my theory is that since it thinks its the wrong processor it doesnt work properly on my device, any help would we appreciated greatly, thanks.
Have a look here http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/xposed-framework-89-0-systemless-t3723850

Might try to change the custom rom If available or go back to stock to flash xposed.
That's gonna be alot of work just to get Xposed working
Try soft rebooting from Xposed Installer app if it reports Xposed Framework is inactive.

Magisk V16 can't install on Android 5.0

Has anyone has success in installing this on Android 5.0 samsung S4 ? I followed the instructions and the manager just says not installed.

What details would you like to know? I flash it and then later restart but the manager was not there so I tried to install it from saving the apk file that I downloaded. But it just said it was not installed and later I found out I lost root from trying to flash Xposed on my phone.
I am very new to this and tried to follow the tutorials and videos but its not working cause I thought using Magisk I can install the seamless Xposed.
Those recovery/installation logs would be a good start.
You're muddling up the details a bit...
Was the Manager not installed or did it report that Magisk wasn't installed? And you lost root? But you said you couldn't install Magisk... Are you already rooted? That might cause issues.
Being nice and clear and detailed (what is being flashed, version numbers, what's already done, what works, what doesn't work, with logs, etc) in your descriptions would help.

I hope this is clearly for you!
1. I flash the file with TWRP with success
2. The phone got stuck on samsung logo
3. Root was removed.
4.I had to re flash stock and it is working again.
5. How do I get the logs of Magisk if my phone keeps looping?
I wanted to use Magisk to see if Xposed would work but it looks like i can't even get Magisk to work on my samsung i9500 with original rom. This same thing happens with Xposed where everything goes smoothly with flashing it in recovery and then a boot loop on the logo. Others on this forum have been complaining about this too and perhaps the developer might have not considered odexed rom like samsung for these wonderful apps to work?
I am going back to Kitkat where i don't have these issues and I can use Xposed.

Bootloop after installing Xposed framework

Hello everyone and good day i have a problem here about installng the xposed framework in my phone because after i flashed the zip my phone enters bootloop luckily i downloaded the uninstaler along with the xposed zip and that save me very much now my question is why is happening in my phone and how am i going to fix it.

Name: Oppo A71 CPH1717 (stock)
Color Os version: Color Os 3.0.1
Chipset: MT6750
CPU: 64bit armv8
Android version: Android 7.1.1(Nougat)

Connect your device to your PC, open a ADB terminal, and use this command: adb wait-for-device shell magisk --remove-modues. This will disable Magisk modules during boot.

"Why" could be any number of reasons, which I do not know. It sounds like it's changing something in system that the OS doesn't like, causing a crash on boot.

It could be for any number of reasons, but yes - if you get a bootloop after installing Xposed, then something is causing the OS to crash during boot, and since the only thing you changed was installing Xposed, that's the likely culprit.
As to exactly why Xposed is causing that crash...I have no idea, but you are asking in the right place.
