F.A.Q.
How is battery life?
I'm not your tester, flash and test.
Can I enable dual sim mode on this rom?
No, I will not waste time on dual sim variant since my roms are designed for single sim only. so feel free to make pull request on my device tree with the correct changes to make it works.
Is it possible to play video on YouTube at 720p60?
Yes and no, might could work on some browsers, I'll try to fix it for next builds because as I said it's related to OMX codecs bug.
What kind of firmware should have to run this rom?
Well you have to upgrade your device to the Emui 4.1 B895 single and B896 for dual sim, it's a mandatory before flash this rom.
How can I flash this rom by coming from another one?
it's simple, just wipe cache and system partitions then flash the rom.

I add the gps configurations, same as emui and remove OpenKirin's one, now I see GPS icon on status bar, I don't know if happen with the actual configuration, by the way look like there are some errors to communicate with libgps.

Hm.. after some fixes on my dotOS satelites show up in the app... Maybe you missed some libraries or this problem is caused by something else.. On my 2 newest roms (AOKP and dotOS) I made some major modifications to the OpenKirin source in that way that B895 is not need for RIL to work, although I sacrificed dual sim support for now.
Maybe you can try compile ROM with our source if you sacrifice dual SIM for a fully-working bluetooth and some worked GPS.

well it's based on LineageOS 14.1 guess is normal. for idle is perfect for me, I use more or less 10% during night.
P.S.: I don't use mobile phone so much

OrionOS is a project based on slim. The name Orion was chosen as a representation of the beauty and vastness of the world around us (Too much Philosophy, eh? ). We started this project for Falcon (Moto G), to make a stable Rom, which would include Bitsyko layers and important customization. The Rom is built with Uber toolchain which delivers awesome smoothness and includes a custom kernel built from ground-up to ensure good performance [WIP]. Does it have an app for FM radio?
Everything smooth so far. FP working perfectly, FM Radio working too. My wifi speeds are slow....but will test it a few more days and see. Getting constant 1MB+ download speed on laptop. On phone when downloading from playstore apps speed doesn't go above 300 kbps. It will go jump a lot. Flip cover doesn't work. Will play some games and see how it goes.
Kept a eye on the downloads from playstore which were updates....wifi speed is most of the time below 100 kbps.
Guys you need to test for me as i don't own the device as far as i have reports all basic stuff including fingerprint sensor works fine

Buggy. Not good, it can't even connect with data automatically, even I set it to 4G only and WCDMA, it will connect for a second only, and then disconnects. I reverted back to official RR.

*icons are too big, even when it already on 440 ppi only (default)
*viper forced closes.
*battery goes down by -2% also

*Pretty much the same custom ROMs we use. The ROM is fast tho, smooth and all, but still needs some work to do.

Aah I found a problem...
*Gallery, I can't play any videos from my sd card and Internal storage. ( but MX Player works. Can stream videos from youtube and chrome)
*Notifications/Ringtones/Alarm.. Nothing is playing just silence even tho I have the volume max out. (But All Music player works)
*I can't record videos from the camera app, shows an error that said "Can't start recording" or something. (But Picture works)
*Fortunave3g xcu 530h *pico gapps*
I tried to reflash the rom but same results
Pls confirm if I'm the only one having this problem.
And pls advice what should I do after. Thanks

Also the FM RADIO sound problem, you can only hear recording sound...
Yay! Finally! Thank you! Btw, can I flash this on older RR rom version without wiping?

So you're also having the same problems as me? Then it really is a bug from the rom.
I'd also like to add that videos from games can't be played either. I tried playing SAOeFragments and it shows an error "can't play video" ...the game is still playable tho-
the same problem here....even the sound of game(nba2k17) is not working.
overall is awesome....
Sooo the only problems are~
*VideoPlayback (Gallery, Games etc)
*Sounds (Notifications, Games etc)
*Video Recording
*FM Radio
Without that bugs, this ROM is the best in performance and battery, IMO.

Our great dev @zim555 is setting SELinux to Enforcing so these issues are normal, but logs are very important. These bugs can be easily fixed but you need to provide him logs just as he said. Please do that soon so I can update my rom soon with the fixed version! :good:

Resurrection Remix-N 5.8.5 for Merlin (Moto G 2015 Turbo)
Since the last official update for RR for Merlin was RR-N 5.8.4 and it's from 24/08/2017, I decided to compile and update it, since the 5.8.5 version was released (with Color Engine built-in) and a lot of changes were made on Lineage code, and also security update patches. I pretend to release new updates ocasionally, as RR and Lineage are very stable for this device and no several changes will be made. Let's wait until RR-O comes.

Since the last official update for RR for Merlin was RR-N 5.8.4 and it's from 24/08/2017, I decided to compile and update it, since the 5.8.5 version was released (with Color Engine built-in) and a lot of changes were made on Lineage code, and also security update patches. I pretend to release new updates ocasionally, as RR and Lineage are very stable for this device and no several changes will be made. Let's wait until RR-O comes.

Added Osprey build in Google Drive folder, but I need someone to test it for me since my osprey is broken. If someone test it, tell me if everything is ok. Should be compatible with last Squid Kernel r22b, since the rom has the new Lineage changes including the new ACDB loader.

I've been running this rom on my Osprey for the past 24 hours and have not found any problems with it. I normally run the official Resurrection Remix and have not seen any difference. Having Magisk built in made using root functions much more convenient. All in all I've been quite happy with it.
I Have A Problem With Charging. When I Tried To Connect My Turbo Charger It Connects And Disconnects Automatically. When I Tried To Connect And Disconnect My Charger For 10 Times Then It Connects Perfectly. Otherwise I Need to Go To Recovery Mode And Connect My Charger And Reboot . I Have Tried This My Turbo Power Bank Also. Same Problem OCcurs. But When I Tried This With A Normal Charger It Works Fine.

when your clean flash crdroid on redmi 4a First tiime. jio users and other 4g users did not get network signal at first boot . so here the fix just follow my steps carefully.
1) Go to settings /

4) Tap "Advanced " you will see preferred network option
5) Go to preferred network option the select option 3 " TD-SCDMA/GSM/WCDMA/LTE"

issue on bluetooth
Installed this rom and is great, but there is one bug i found, i was listening music on bluetooth and it seemed everything fine, till i noticed i couldn't answer calls on bluetooth, also play and pause buttons(playing music) from bluetooth not responding correctly.

I just tested it out and you're right, files copied from internal to external storage somehow corrupts the file. Not sure why though.
I think I found a bug. I have no signal strength all of a sudden and it's showing this error notification (see image)
IMEI, baseband is still intact.
edit: Nvm. Looks like it's a problem with my carrier.
Upgraded from crdoird 7.1.2 everything works smoothly for the couple of hours i got it. The only problem i can say is that the phone is getting a lot more warm even when not using it...please check it out as on the 7.1.2 there was no issue what so ever...Other than that thanks thanks a lot for the rom!

It's recommend that you do a clean install.
Go to TWRP, wipe system, data, cache, dalvik cache. Then install the ROM then GApps. Reboot. (Firmware is already included with the ROM.)

I noticed that too, but it doesn't happen all the time for some reason. I wonder if using the Infinity kernel fixes this issue...

actually? In terms of stability, bugs... is this more complete than Arrow and Pixel mods?
I downloaded and was using this rom since last time someone posted in discussion fourm ..there is no any bug and has highest customizations among pie category.excellent performance and battery backup.now i will flash this one,hope this one is updated than that one.Thanks dev
