Doogee X5 MAX PRO - Recovery TWRP Problem - Doogee X5 Questions & Answers

Hello all,
I've installed twrp and rooted about 5 different types of phones in the past so I am not brand new at this.
I just can't succeed with the Doogee X5 MAX PRO
I've tried flashing several different twrp recovery.img's using fastboot, and transfering using the SP Tool.
It does actually transfer and appear to succeed.
When I attempt to load recovery, I have a wait a bit, then see the Doogee boot screen, then the phone restarts.
I've also tried using the the SP Tool to re-load the stock recovery.img, still nothing!
Any tips?

Almost 2 years later... I just bought this phone and I got the same problem. Tell me if you finally succeed!
Well, the problem is the firmware thing. I'm pretty sure you tried twrp versions that don't work with your ROM. You gotta find the proper twrp version. The latest firmware is 18/03/2018. Have you got it?
I'm gonna reply 2 times the same message for ya'all (ilyasovich and stizarch)
Sorry for my english, I'm from Spain

Download the Stock Rom on Doogee website

I know the problem might not exist anymore, but for the sake of posterity... I had the same problem: tried a couple versions of TWRP, all seemingly successfully flashed through the SP Flash Tool, yet phone rebooting on attempting to enter recovery mode afterwards, no TWRP in sight. TWRP 3.1.1 was the one that worked for me ( Downloaded from "X5 Max Pro firmware" on Needrom ). I now (finally) have a proper recovery firmware.

Bricked Huawei P9. Please help

I tried rooting my phone, but I accidentally flashed a ROM twice and after that I can't get the phone to boot up (boot loop). I also accidentally deleted my OS and now my phone doesn't have an OS. I have access to TWRP and I can send files from my PC to phone. I just don't know what to do, I also tried flashing 2 other ROMS but with no luck. I really need help.
EDIT: I should mention my version is EVA-L09C432B386.

Thank you so much! My Huawei P9 is as good as new :good:

Tried to install Cosmic-OS, soft-bricked it and now can't do stock android updates

Hi, first let me say that i'm a noob at this. I've read some guides and got some help from a friend, who has more experience than me. But we did something wrong and now I need help.
The phone is a brand new XT1805.
I think i might have fried my stock recovery. I just tried to upgrade the stock motorola android when it told me there was an update. This is just after i bought the phone, so naturally there would be updates. But the phone couldn't complete the update. It just showed the "dead android with red triangle and exclamation mark" picture, and then booted up normally afterwards.
Before that (last night - the day i bought the phone) i tried to install twrp on it to do a backup and eventually install cosmic-os, but i never got so far..
I now realise that i tried to install a twrp for moto G5S (and not G5S plus) and that that was probably the reason that it refused to install it. It was this twrp: https://eu.dl.twrp.me/potter. I ran (not installed, because it didn't let me) the twrp-3.1.1-0-potter.img via fastboot and tried to do a backup, which just hung, so eventually i forced the phone to shut down.. After that it just showed the screen: "Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted ... ID: bad key ... will boot in 5 seconds." It showed that screen continuously for 10 hours until the battery was empty. I thought it was bricked :-/
So the status now is that i can't go into recovery mode from the fastboot menu (power button and volume down), and the ordinary android updater can't update the phone. I still would like to end up with cosmic-os or similar, but right now i would just like to have my recovery back.
What would you recommend me to do now?
I've seen this guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mo...lash-official-firmware-moto-g5s-plus-t3681018, that promises to be able to go back to official firmware - could that be the way forward?
Thanks in advance
Have you tried reflashing the recovery through fastboot?

How about flashing twrp again ....and installing the right os. Or u could go to the fast boot mode and re flash the stock ROM

Which recovery image should i flash? The official one i found on motorolas site seems to be pretty old. I don't have the link for that right now.
I've found this: https://firmware.center/firmware/Motorola/Moto G5s Plus/Stock/ in this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mo...lash-official-firmware-moto-g5s-plus-t3681018
I'm uncertain if a firmware found at this site should be trusted? (I have nothing againt the site or the person uploading it - I simply don't know if it's a good source)
Thanks
Flash the 64 bit Twrp ...then try ...I think uve got the wrong Twrp ....

I did this now, with the SANDERS_NPS26.116-26_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip firmware, and it seems to have worked correctly. I now can update the stock android, that i couldn't before because of some missing recovery. I am happy

So you're typing a little erratic.
Can you get to eRecovery? This is your best option..
If not then you'll need to reflash all the parts of the OS back to the phone manually..
Beyond that you'll need a recovery method, not sure if it's a device of a program but it can usually help, depends on what is borked.

I cant understand what yyou saying here Beyond that you'll need a recovery method, not sure if it's a device of a program but it can usually help, depends on what is borked.
I get into Erecovery if i press download latest version and recovery after some times when i put the wifi pass says error. Error i got also on HIsUite when i tried to format from there and download the latest versio. So we go manually but HOW? i tried almost everything
i tried this https://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-p20/how-to/how-to-how-to-unbrick-clt-l29c432-t3878714
success all command went trhough the phone
the problem is i cannot flash twrp
my phone has unlocked bl
well i did a lot of search if you ask me i download 5-7 different programs that can flash stock firmware. ONE seems to be legit for 9.0 RE-flash 9.0 which has commands on its script like this guy says and he helped me too
https://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-p20/how-to/how-to-how-to-unbrick-clt-l29c432-t3878714
also if someone cant boot into twrp after the frist steps and see the erecovery just format everything from erecovery and then it will boot to twrp.
also now says installing update.
i hope imeis serial numbers etc wont lost..
Thats the script i found i dont remeber where
http://prntscr.com/mitvum
but i can upload somewhere the files
if you run FLASH.bat and says MISSING ZIPS then remove the update."zip" {ZIP PREFIX FROM THE NAME OF THE FILES ONLY} and run again the bat
the procedure may take 10-30 mins
What about the otg method?
Also I would never use a tool like this.

It's risky because if the ROM is not right it will mess up your phone completly.

Thanks to everybody who gave their advice here. For me, it was a PC problem (or adb driver problem). I factory reset my PC cause I have cloud backup, and started the process clean. From there, I only downloaded Minimal ADB and Fastboot. Then I tried MiFlash, and the flashing process went through without any errors this time.
Hello,
I have the same problem, screen stuck on Fastboot.
It happened after having cleared up too much with TWRP.
I can't figure out how to flash back the original rom.
I see lot of tutorials and roms but nothing really clear.
I downloaded Mi Flash Pro.
Questions:
- Where can I find the last official rom for Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro / Redmi K20 Pro? (for European Union)
- How can I use Mi Flash Pro to re-install it back?
Thanks a lot for your help

Mi 9 won't boot into Android

Alright lets start... I bought Mi 9 about 2 months. I just like to work with phones and mess up with Roms, recoverys, etc. I started it about 4-5 years ago with Samsung Galaxy Trend Plus. When i lost that phone i bought HTC M8 and also do the same (mess up with software). With Mi 9 i couldnt wait for Miui11 and tried to install it via Twrp. Unlocked bootloader installed Twrp via Fastboot, and every time when i restarted phone Miui stock recovery would overwrite Twrp. I searched everywhere and found some "solution". It was when you install Twrp via fastboot you need to write Fastboot boot Twrp.img, something like that im not really sure. Well that worked, kindof. Twrp would always appear but it cant boot into Android. And like always i tried to to solve it myself but i cant for two days of working without stopping i cant solve this. I tried to install different Rom (Miui 11 all versions) and it would install but wont boot. I tried Stock Miui Rom, i tried Factory img almost everything. Tried with adb, Miflash tool, All in one tool for Mi 9. I really love this phone i worked every day on summer for this phone. Thanks. If someone read this and want to help for more information just ask.

You need Miflash pro. Search for it. Sounds like you have some kind of recovery bootloop. If you can get your Mi9 to the fastboot (bootloader) screen then you can fix your cell an get it to boot . Trust me on this. I must of made flashing errors with my Mi9 maybe 20 times an got stuck in a fastboot loop.
Heres a link https://androidmtk.com/use-mi-flash-pro-download-xiaomi-firmware
Follow the guides an you should have a working Mi9 in under 20 minutes.
Sometimes there can be trouble getting the latest version of Miflash pro an it requires a bit of tinkering to flash with it.
Not sure that this would help but here is what I did to install Xiaomi.EU ROM in my Mi 9. I followed the guide from this forum here.
Prerequisite:
Download TWRP 3.3.1-42 for Cepheus from Mauronofrio here
Download Xiaomi.EU ROM here
Rename both files to twrp.img & rom.zip respectively (for easy typing later)
Steps:
Power off phone
Boot phone to fastboot - Vol Down + Power
type "fastboot flash recovery twrp.img" without the double quotes
Power off phone
Boot phone to recovery - Vol Up + Power
Type "adb push rom.zip /tmp/" without the double quotes
In TWRP, go to Wipe-Format Data-type yes in TWRP
Then perform a Factory Reset in TWRP
Then flash ROM located in tmp
And finally reboot to system
I hope this helps.
