So apperently because of a restore of an incomplete backup using twrp my phone got bricked. I unbricked it using huawei mt but my /data partition is not mounting because of which the phone won't boot(this is based on my observations and I could be wrong but I am unable to mount /data). I know there is a way to format/repair the /data using adb but idk how to. A lil help would be appreciated.

install stock recovery and use dload method. its usually last option to fix device.

sd card in pc and then move file to it. id you cant google error and look for fix.

i did google and none of the solutions worked
My phone had it data corrupted. I took it to Huawei repair and it took 2 weeks and they fixed my broken screen and fixed the phone for free.

Charge the battery and enter the cwm and make a complete smart flash our use the all in one tool kit....the link is in my signature...
Don't worry...the p990 is 99% is un breakable....just need the time and checking patience

if you have the USB not working...you can still transfer files using MyPhone Explorer client service through wifi....
if you have the nandroid backup, transfer it to the internal SDand then enter into CWM and flash it.

friend the problem is that my O2X delete the nandroid I had since this format internal sd and external sd if I could bring you all appreciate clean nandroid

You will need to apply the third party write to SD card fix for KK Roms. You will need root.

I have gone to towelroot.com but there is something wrong there clicked on the icon and nothing there downloads.
@maid : to check a signature , just click on the links below any users post . In this case , he is referring to "How to get root on Xperia Z1 with KitKat". Go through the link properly before trying it out.... its an amazing guide...also dont forget to thank @gregbradley

There are tools you can try to recover the data with. It's not guaranteed though that it will work if the internal storage was wiped too. Here's one tool (have no experience of it) and you can easily Google for more.

No I didn't. I tried rooting it to get LineageOS onto it. I just need a way to get the original storage onto it again.
