Download rar file to pc,unpack,copy twrp folder to sd card,reboot to twrp recovery and restore that backup.

There aren't Gapps?? Why?

I don't like them and I don't need them.On every rom I use first thing is to delete all Huawei and Google stuff.

It's a wonderful yet very lite ROM, what I like most is your Xperia input keyboard, is this modded and could share apk file for this? I really need this for my P6 coz im a heavy texter.

Hi,
I have made a backup in TWRP before I tried to install your rom.
After I started restore and rebooted I got the message "Unfortunately, Keyguard has stopped." at the moment when the language should be selected.
As I wasn't able to select anything because this message kept showing, I execute wipe in TWRP.
Aftewards the ROM looked OK, but I haven't noticed xposed of gravitybox.

Yes stable

I failed to flash from 390 using the dialer method.

Flashed over B392, no problems so far.
Used dialer method.
Sent from my HUAWEI GRA-L09 using XDA Labs

Last ROMs (B392 and B393) fail when updating using dialer method. But they do update, at 100% it shows an error "update failed", when restarted it does optimization of a system and boots and then in settings it shows the correct version (B393 currently).

thats the least they can do, minimum of work, still very dissapointed by not getting EMUI 5, by the time i was buying this phone i considered this as a sure thing, but i didnt know what huawei is really about

nononono, i was just re-trying the stock system for some experiments. The CM13 is fine, and it works very well, but sometimes third-part apps (downloaded via apk or play store) crash.

I've tried CM13 ROM but the crashes were very annoying. Opera browser was crashing couple of times per hour, Swype keyboard was crashing when I was typing, a lot of games were crashing at launch, Google Translate was crashing when tried to use camera. I would love to have CM13 instead of Huawei firmware but for now it's unusable.

How do I get stock recovery from this version of the ROM?
On B390 I installed TWRP, replaced the HOSTS file with one that blocks ads, removed some unnecessary system apps and replaced TWRP with stock recovery.
Do you think that using B391 recovery (https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529152257862705190) is a good idea?
I don't want to root the phone because I don't feel it's necessary.

Huawei update extractor thread ok XDA

to me seems to be improved both camera.. especialy front camera, the back looks that he used more agressive smoth procedure

version runs great on my wifes p8. however the background changes in the window of a smart cover is still broken

i have all google apps on chenese version . i have cn 2.27 , and used GAPPS app. but i rooted and 2.27 is the only virsion which supports google apps , but still google map wont work properly

Question I can't perform system updates

Hi, i just got my oneplus 10 pro china variant with global rom installed and when i tried to install the latest system updates it always says installation failed, is there any chance i can update this? Its still on a.10 version.

Try to use OpLocalUpdate.apk which you can find somewhere. It might work.

It's not working. Does this have to do with installation fail? The system updater is in disabled apps and i can't enabled it.

Here is the boot.img file that I pulled from the update today if anyone needs it.

I was able to successfully patch the Boot.img and achieve root in C.19

Well I'm rooted and back up and running. There's been a few times with my 9 pro that it's not gone this easy LOL.

How'd you update? There's the magisk way and there the unroot and reroot way.
Edit: you have to uninstall the magisk modules before you install the update, then reinstall Magisk after OTA

I didn't have any modules installed. I downloaded the full zip. Installed it I lost root. I used python to pull the boot.img file. Patched the file re-rooted took me about 15mins.

I dont use beta, but the feature is available in C.19 and C.20 btw.

Hey, can you please attach the boot image that you used to root in C.19?

Is anybody having issues with delay in getting SMS/MMS messages. After updating to c19, I have noticed that sometimes I am not getting any messages. A reboot will temporarily fix the issue. I cleared the both Carrier Services and Messages app data which has not completely resolved the issue. I was just wondering if anyone else is having this issue? Also, I could not find Messages app listed under battery optimization list (may be because it's considered a system app?). BTW, I am not rooted and have 2215 running C19 version. Thanks.

I have the question battery working better than oxygen 12 ? Also apk file install normaly or I must sideload VIA adb ?
