Agreed. Im sure 10s of different threads /questions has been asked here and on Reddit.
Just try some that has gotten good reception, i doubt it will be any bad. ...

Found Two Champions
I was in the same dilemma so i tried every single ROM to be sure
So here is my answer
1. Freedom OS
**Pros:
-Oxygen OS based ROM
-Super stable
-Great Battery life
-Adaway
-Viper4fx
-much more stuff...
**Cons
-No more customisations than original ROM
-Not sure about Frequent updates
2. Lineage OS 15.1 unofficial
**Pros:
-oreo 8.1
-Great battery life
-lots of customisations possible
-Has much more developer support
-better than stock ROM
**Cons:
-few things are not working
Charging doesn't make a sound nor vibrate, no matter what settings.
Option to switch hw keys light on/off is missing (i know not real issue, but many prefer them off)
Display modes missing sRGB, DCI-P3
-alpha stage so not super stable
-bugs here and there
-you have to decrypt your phone { must for earlier versions but not sure about 15.1}
After all it depends on you what's your taste ....
**SPECIAL MENTION
omni rom and nitrogen os are also super good but don't have great battery life
TELL ME IF IT WAS HELPFUL:good:

Don't do this. It's a free OnePlus 3T Questions & Answers thread and I am asking it.
It's true there are threads with list of Oreo ROMs, but they are unstable, even if they are official release (not beta) they are new official, meaning that battery life is so so. My question is what rom is stable in terms of battery. People might ask what rom is more feature rich .and so on
Please respect everyone who is asking. Or ask the moderators to delete the thread if you don't agree.

Don't make new thread if another one is already existing. We are fed up with these threads and the best answer to this question is that you have to test it for yourself, because everyone has different usage pattern.

The next question is how this stacks up to BioHazard..... Man I just had Bio where I wanted it. Oh well XD
In your opinion though, is this better or worse than ICS BioHazard?
Biohazard might be somewhat faster, I didnt benchmark
is the tmobile wifi calling ? i have cm9 now and would like to try this if it does.
thanks!

Yeah, has T-mobile wifi calling been removed?

Well, real-world comparing, they seem the same with a 1.2ghz OC via Doadin's Kernel. Only major difference to the end-user I see is this doesn't have the weird animation glitch Biohazard had. I did flash the VMLagTurner on this one though.
As a mini-bug report, it seems there are 2 galleries instead of one
Running SwapSD causes this ROM to stop working. It freezes on the CM9 screen when booting. Vibrates briefly every five seconds, but does nothing.

Alright folks, here's another update... 4.3 is officially merged!! I just did the last part of it and caught with CyanogenMod as far as frameworks goes.
Reference here to see what I'm talking about: IllusionProject Frameworks/base
Of course there's loads of things to iron out, but the overwhelming part of merging 4.3 is now behind us!
I'm still not going to promise an ETA, but I will be doing what I can to get everything functioning the way it needs to be. Thanks peeps for remaining patient through a busy part of my life recently. There's quite a bit in store for 2.5. I may even release a alpha version of 2.5 so you guys can get your hands on a 4.3 build with all the cool nifty features and such :victory:.

Question about ROM/KERNEL battery life suggestions.

My Nexus 5 is coming in the mail on friday, and I was wondering if anybody found a good kernel/rom + settings to achieve the best possible battery life? Ive been doing research, and CM nightly + chaos kernel seems like that might work.. any better recommendations?
maybe a certain kernel + stock rooted??
anything? my main concern is battery life... but I also need performance.. not extreme performance but i dont want a laggy interface just for better battery life.
maybe also some undervoltage settings?
please people give me some recommendations or even your personal favorite and why.. thank you.

heres exactly what you are looking for http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2477889
experiment a little, try out different combos, thats the only way that you will find the perfect combo for your phone, and for your needs. everyone uses their devices differently, has differing needs, and each device reacts differently to every rom and kernel. whats perfect for me can be terrible for you.
Just passing thru....see the post above mine. Thanks

Thought this would be a useful area to find solutions & share fixes relating to RR 14.1 ........
First of all this is early development brought to you by droid.riz who is doing a fantastic job so far....
However like anything things happen or not (all may be stable for you as you may never use X feature that is indeed buggy).....
Can I Dirty flash over iterations?
Answer
Yes Normally this shouldn't be an issue but please if stated by dev to go clean then advice is to do so....
What is the Camera Quality like? Any Quality loss?
Answer:
For me it's fine but I'm no photographer and just soley go by what looks good to my eyes lol Some are experiencing problems with FC's when using front facing or switching or entering the preview (displays a black screen) try using a 3rd party camera perhaps....?
Is theming available?
Answer: You can use Substratum (however it can as reported be buggy and can lead to bootloop (depending on theme) for me I'm using DTS (Dark Theme Stock) which is working just fine.
Is this Rom pre rooted?
Answer: from my understanding yes, however I did myself flash SR5.......
What Works & Doesn't?
For the most part everything.....Camera is buggy for some, others it's fine.....
Some things in addition features may or may not work further & ongoinf testing by users required & report, from what i have been through (all is good) report if not....
Can this be used as a Daily Driver?
Answer: Why of course for me being at an early build it's pretty much stable and for me is a great daily driver...
What is the battery life like?
Answer: This is always subjective and will always vary from user to user.....but so far for me it's really good...
This is initial and Guides etc can always be added.....but thought it would be a good idea to have a space to talk away but connected to Resurrection Remix 14.1 .....
Mods: If you feel this is inappropriate and not required...then feel free to remove....but I have seen this set up previously & can be a productive method to (yes ask in original thread) but here to.....Reducing the time needed to find a solution & or answer?
Echo in call Fix ....(Reported Working) Note this is not my work.....[emoji106]

Question Sleepy Kernel on PixelOS

Has anyone tried Sleepy Kernel on PixelOS? I am currently using it. The ROM is quite nice but one gripe i have is with fast charging its quite slow compared ( Attached SS Below ) to Miui and Battery life seems decent but i've heard Sleepy kernel is best when it comes to battery life. Has anyone tried it yet? Does it brick the device or is it supported? If anyone has tried please link a download link for the Kernel if possible. Thanks.

Well I flashed yesterday the latest sleepy kernel and everything works fine and battery now is amazing compared with previous kernel(latest vantom).
Did not noticed any delay on fast charge but battery life now is maybe even 3 times better than before!
PS: I am still on Pixel OS 12 last version 12/08/22 not the new one with Android 13.
Oh, I am on PixelOS 13 the latest one the battery life seems sub par to me ~14% active drain on using FB and Insta 0.4-0.6% idle drain. Should i dirty flash to PixelOS12?
Depends if you want a more stable enviroment without updates and bugs(Android 13) i think the old version of Pixel OS(August 22) it is the best solution.
I attach some screens of my battery usage,i am still on 58% from yesterday morning without using my phone too much.
Is the A12 build smooth? If I dirty flash to It will it be a problem? I don't want to set up all my apps again. Also yea I have noticed quite many few bugs in A13. Also if you don't mind tell me what the usual SoT are you getting on 120Hz. I'm torn between using PixelOS or Trying out CrDroid. ( haven't tried CrDroid but I've heard it has the closes BB to Miui while still offering A12 or A13 )
