Google Camera for Doogee Mix. It took me a while to test and it seems to be working fine.
Go to

Search for
MGC_2.7.010_4.4+C2API_kenzo_v3.apk
So far had no issues
Enjoy

Better version of google camera attached. HDR Works, video @ 1080p decent quality, Panorama works well and as well as Foto Sphere. Blur works good this time as well.

I think you'll find that it WASN'T in Q&A until it was reported and moved by a moderator.
Don't get arsey with a very well respected developer on here when he points out that you have posted in the wrong place - show some humility and accept the criticism or you may well find yourself not getting any help as a result.
Calm down gentlemen, here's the answer, NO, theres only a mod for ICS, but you could use LG camera pro (ported from some other phone, but works well on our phone too).I heard it gives you more settings, though I couldn't use it well due to well, It's not so user friendly.I prefer stock one, but it's worth a try.

i installed Google Play Edition camera (from HTC/Samsung Google Play Edition)
it works except photosphere mode (camera FC right after 1st alignment)
will this consider a camera mod?
is there someone here fix this to work on our 4X?
with photosphere working

Nope, camera mods edit drivers or configuration files, so camera mods basically work on all apps you're using, for example, if you add more saturation with a camera mod, it would work on both stock camera app & google play edition camera.

HTC M9 Camera

Today I got HTC M9 Camera & Gallery app is working fine in my Nexus 6..
May be some users like me not satisfied with the default Google Camera app. That's why decided to share this info..

This works better because it has all the lib files and everything for extra functionality. (I removed the link due to the powers that be, but google search HTC m9 camera port and you will find it.)
At the bottom of the comments someone provided a full patch for 4k video.
Does it have an HDR+ option?
Selinux needs to be permissive for some reason

I get what your saying and thanks for the heads up, but its not like XDA post a list of people who are banned from XDA so why would they warn me? They keep track of who is banned not me.
But I will remove the link since XDA has changed so much and I don't want issues.

If you are using lean kernel, there is an option available in lkconfig.
Otherwise, you would need to use the app SElinux Changer.
It was pulled from Google Play, but can be downloaded here on XDA:

Could also use a terminal emulator app and run "su 0 setenforce 0" without the quotes. For me, the SELinux app here on XDA was not persistent. I would be switched back to enforcing after a reboot. The terminal way persists through reboots.

More features awaited!
Well, I've been using the HTC One M9 Camera App for about 4-5 days as my primary camera app and I'm quite happy. For instance, there are some awesome modes in it like Brokeh, Split Camera etc. But, Google Camera has better panorama. The HDR mode is needed as I compared the photos on my laptop... Google ones were better even when HDR+ mode wasn't even on! Having said that, HTC One M9 Camera is a beautiful addition to our phones as the Google Camera is still 2012 in my opinion!
Features awaited(in terms of importance):
1. HDR (most important)
2. Slow motion video
3. Faster focusing
Please hit the THANK YOU button if you think my review helped you. I will continue to post further info on this.
This is way better than the stock camera. The focus issue on the stock camera made me hate my camera, now with this I'm liking it. Thank you

Google Camera

One big advantage von the IPhone 7Plus and the Huawei 9P is the double camera on the backside giving you some functions known from SLRs (e.g. Blur effect in the background).
Google Camera App is offering this by moving the camera during picture, however it is not supported on Oxygen OS (yet). The most recent versions can be installed, but will crash after a second or two...
UPDATED: This is the last version working for Oneplus 3T based on my knowledge...Link below

On my 3T it works perfectly without any crashes running stock OxygenOS

Hi there!
That's really interesting - actually, I somehow like the Google cam (obviously even an old one) more than the stock oxygen one. What do you guys think? And is there any chance that we get further updates on Google cam?
Cheers!
Just an FYI,
Google camera 4.3.016.... Works great on the new official OP3T 4.1 ROM (7.1.1). The autofocus doesn't seem to have issues like the stock camera.

hi guys, im new here (i just bought my op3t) so i want to know if its posible to have the google camera with all its features ported to a op3/3t i mean the EIS, 240fps slowmotion, HDR+, etc thx
Second this. HDR+ (not HDR) will be amazing.
I use Camera NX. It's a modded apk from the Pixel. You don't get extra features, but you do get the modern UI and it works great for the background blur. Just be sure to grab the download for non-Nexus devices.

yeah I tried that but it doesnt give me nothing more than stock OP camera app. If he could force HDR+ that would be interesting.
the latest apk seems to work fine but there is hardly any noticeable change in quality from stock camera, only the autofocus seems to work better. also the app crashes when i select slow motion tab.

Google camera bypass moto processing?

I know the zealous sharpening issue with the stock moto is a post processing problem and has been mention if not rooted no actual fix yet.. Also others have stated open camera didn't take any better pictures... However I'm wondering if certain apps simply rely on the OS post processing and don't have their own built in. As I used Google camera today to take 2 exact pictures. I sat holding my hand in exactly the same position without moving.. Then launched the stock camera and the comparison is a visibly less noisy and softer photo. I will upload the comparison
Attatched photos taken with both cameras. No hdr no settings adjusted same place touched to focus.
i named each file accordingly. but incase you cant see file names.
goes moto google then for st shot google moto
On custom roms, the Google camera is great, but still has a few issues. Sometimes, it only allowed me to take a few photos at one, and then stopped letting me take any. I had to exit out and go back in to fix it. That said, I saw it on the lineage camera and open camera to...
Either way, the big problem in find is other apps using the camera, which seems to either not work or show a very dark image. This affected mostly QR apps in my experience, (2 factor apps, WhatsApp, etc.)

I downloaded the versions listed previously from apkmirror and enabled camera2 in build.prop. There is a Magisk Module for enabling camera2 now as well.
I had no issues with 2.7.008, but 4.1.006 would occasionally fc when switching from camera to video.
persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1 is the build.prop I used.
Someone please kindly share me the APK of Google Camera for non-rooted Moto G5 Plus. I thought I could also use it in my phone!

Question Asus Stock Camera App, Please !

Hi XDA,
Can anyone please pull the stock Asus Zenfone8 app(as an .apk) so we can use it on custom ROMs ?
I compared the stock Asus camera app with all availabe apps before installing the LineageOS and the difference is huge, specially comparing it to the OpenCamera.
The stock app is way better.
I wish I can have it on my LineageOS now
Appreciate your help so much!

Well, I was hoping it was some kind of img file. But it's a zip with a .bin file. Not a clue as to what I can do with that. Would be great to get the stock camera. The Lineage camera really sucks and I cannot get any of the gcam versions to work either...
If that helps, I was able to get OK results on the stock ROM from the GrapheneOS Camera app. You can get it from their github repository. Note that it is very basic and lacks any night mode or any kind of special features. Also I just noticed that it does not offer the option of switching lenses. Maybe it is possible but I didn't search on that subject. Here are some comparison images

Hi, I tested it as well and had no sucess. As a developer I also tried to unpack the apk and take a look, imeediatly noticed that it has some google dependencies which in my case a LineageOS with no google will not work, as well I saw some properties and configurations files so maybe these has some data related to the phone of the good guy who ported it out.
The stock camera app is way better than the most famous free camera apps out there, specially in night photography, the OpenCamera for example leaves you night photos so so noisy and it sets the screen brightness on max with no way to change that (not that I know).
Lets please keep this thread running to find out the best camera for this phone with AOSP and no google dependneces.
Tested the Witchaya Port of GCam yesterday. No luck with Version 8 (just crashes), but Version 7 first seemed to run. Yet it freezes the captured image constantly after 3 seconds. Tapping onto a different camera mode wakes the image again for 3 seconds - just to freeze again afterwards. Tried all of the supplied xml config files - no success. I'm running on latest LineageOS nightly without the GApps...
I believe if a good developer can take a look at the stock Asus app and figure out why it doesn't work.
Maybe it's just a deal of adjusting some configuration file.
On another thread, what's the best free Camera app you're using ?
I'm using the OpenCamera since it has lots of options, but its photo quality is not the best and night shoots are so noisy.
Asus camera is dependant of asus framework . Most likely nogo to get it to run on non as roms.
Its not as simple as config files, it much deeper integrated in asus framework
