Guys, I just got a zuk z2 pro and I'm trying to unlock bootloader but I'm receiving the email without the img file. Has anyone face that problem? I already know the step by step of installing custom ROMs since I had a zuk z2 plus.

I've already tried 3 different emails! I always get the email but there's no file attached
What about your antivirus ? Mayby it is a cause . Turn off it and try again
Just did it and it's the same. No img file is coming attached. Is there a way to contact Zuk support?
I read on another thread that it's possible to installed twrp without unlocking the bootloader. I'll try that
Guys, I was expecting a .img file to come attached in the e-mail just like Zuk Z2 Plus. Now I noticed that the second hyperlink on the text is the link to download that file. I know, it's stupid lol. Thanks anyways!

Am in a fix..
Jus downloaded the latest developer rom 6.1.14 for note pro and flashed it via twrp..but after flashing it I got a Msg frm twrp tat my device is not rooted..but anyhow I rebooted and since than I have not been able to boot..its just stuck at the mi logo..cant even go to recovery..its jus rebooting..cant even shut it off..i have always flashed every update after downloading the full rom every week..but I don't know what went wrong..plz help me...
I have the same problem and tehere are so many people like me. What will we do?

There has to be some bug in that update..but I need to get my fone up and working....hw?? Btw were u able to get your fone up and working?? Can u get to recovery??

This is ridiculous.. my phone went into bootloop..how to fix that..? I use my phone for every important work!! Hw can they do it???? Deliberately crashing my fone..i am done with my fone..selling it..getting some other device.. I hope miui goes to ground..

i was using cn build 6.1.7 everything was fine
then popup for update i went to website and download full rom 6.1.14
then i renamed that downloaded file to update.zip and paste in the main sdcard folder
then i have already installed TWRP Recovery i went there and apply that update.zip
then twrp applied that zip and then i clicked reboot after applying it sucessfully.
then it stuck on MI Logo for 4 hours and then the same i tried everything nothing is working only i am able to enter fastboot mode.
i even tried Stable and DEV build both via MI PC Suite but it stuck at 50% saying " sending pmic.mbn "
Now from 3 days i dont have phone Really frustated even i applied with both accounts [email protected] and [email protected] none of them is approved yet for unlocking Bootloader.
MY BIGGEST PROBLEM IS I HAVE CRITICAL AND CONFIDENTIAL DATA ON MY STORAGE CARD and Photos also but thanks to google photos for auto syncing it to cloud.
PLEASE TELL ME ANY METHOD TO COPY STORAGE CARD DATA WHERE MY MOBILE FULL BACKUP IS THERE WITH LOCAL BACKUP FACILITY OF MIUI NEW ROMS

Standing to lose all the data on my fone..
Thanks to xiaomi..
We are aware of this issue and we are working on a fix. My personal opinion this "locked bootloader" is useless.. If someone doesnt want to play around with it they will just leave it. Anyway... The should be an update of Mi Suite soon that will fix this problem, thank god that I didnt update lol

My req to unlock ws denied...now my question is how can u push an update tat will put devices into bootloop??? The phone is important to me..i literally live out of my phone..emails..calender..appointments everything..this is ridiculous as if we are lab rats being experimented on..hw can a phone company with mass production fones take such an amateurish step?? Have lost all my faith in xiaomi..i need the bootloader unlocked so tat I can boot into the phone and get my data that's all.. plz get me my data..and bye bye xiaomi..

Well most beta testers used Xiaomi's reccovery which worked fine with the update so they did not end up in a bootloop but for users like us using TWRP it was otherwise. Try doing a request again maybe? Write bit more details etc. I do apologise for the inconvenience of this update being released, I'm happy i never updated myself as I do use my phone a lot for business purposes which is very vital.

I see no way back as the update disables fastboot. Luck and only luck stopped me applying the update.
Posted another req for unlock..keeping my fingers crossed..
So whats the best course of action? thinking return to stable, lock bootloader and sell. Anyone got a better idea?

I am on 5.11.19 for a long time but today, somehow, the 6.1.7 got downloaded and now it asks "reboot to apply update": is there a way to avoid it?

Ya jus go to file manager.. locate the folder download_rom and delete whatever files u see in there..that shud do it..

Exactly what @arkabose said. You can also disable automatic download.
So this looks like the only option for the lucky ones who haven't locked their bootloader.

1. Due to large amounts of requests, please wait for 10-12 days after submitting your application. If you haven't get any info after 10-12 days, please make a thread on en.miui with your Xiaomi account number, we will check it for you. Thanks for understanding
2. The unlocking procedure only supports MIUI China developer version (6.1.12 or later version) currently. MIUI China stable version will get supported in future updates
3. Some Mi Note Pro users could not unlock bootloader after updating to 6.1.12. This issue will be solved in the next update
So Hello guys, I've got a Mi5 from NIS-Store around a month ago.
It's working totally fine but... I've set up finger print and password protection but after testing it, I decide to remove it and then where all my problems with Mi5 come up.
When you get to the settings option and get to password, it simply shows a white blank screen and after few seconds, settings apk just crash.
I've find out that I'm running chinese seller rom or something like that. Found some tutorials on Xiaomi website how to flash the proper rom but non of them are working for me or I'm just to stupid for it (Never done anything on other phones then Sony :laugh.
It's running 7.2.8.0.0 (MAACNDB) Miui 7. Its defo not the global version even though it is said... I've tried flashing proper rom with both update apk on the phone and the MiSuite (far as I remember the name) and I couldn't done it.
Do You have any ideas how to get a proper rom on it ? I'm running out of ideas...
Other then that problem, phone itself is just amazing.
Unlock your device first. Then download official fastboot rom for your device. Flash it using miflasher

Check their website for fastboot-ready firmware.
I got my Mi5 from ibuygou.com and asked them to include the original ROM. They sent me a factory sealed Mi5 with the China ROM, which was what I wanted. I was able to unlock the bootloader and flash the global ROM in minutes.

It will erase everything besides of internal storage, but better make backup.

i just recieved a brand new xiaomi mi5 yesterday and he is running on a FAKE rom 7.2.8.0.0 chinese stable. I just want to change this ****ty rom to the global stable rom but my phone is bootloader lock.
I try the updater but the phone show a running circle and then reboot to the wrong rom.
Then i try the mipc suite in English and Chinese but i have a read warning showing something like "unable to discover your device".
I make my demand to unlock my phone but i receive no confirmation message.
I'm tired to read all this topic with no real solution.
I read a tuto about fastboot recovery but i don't know if i can use it with my lock phone. I m not a geek and i don't want to break my new phone just to change a rom.
Somebody have an EASY way to do it?

That should work.
You cannot flash from recovery if the phone is still locked.
About unlocking:
Did you request the unlock permission and got an SMS with code?
Or did you request the code, but never got the SMS with the code?
If you got the code, i assume that you did not receive an SMS with the text that you have permission to unlock?
Did you fill the form in with the SMS code that you got? Only the you get the SMS with permissions.
If you did not get any code in your SMS, then it might be a account problem (that was with me the case).
Make a new MIUI.com account.
Log this account in on you phone via developer options.
Then request again the code on the site. If that does not work, wait 24 hours and try again. Maybe you have to repeat this 2 or 3 days after each other. I had to try 2 times and the second time (after 24 hours) i got the SMS.

I submit for the unlock permission this morning and i recieved the first sms code so the verification one. So i was able to send my request but i haven't got any answer yet.
Do you know any way to bypass this bootable lock and install the global international rom?
Maybe i can install the global via EDL mode but i need help for the steps to follow.

if you've got a spare cheap usb type c cable you can cut and solder it to make and EDL cable (look for guides online) to put locked phone in EDL mode then safely flash official miui with MiFlash and just then unlock it.

If you have submitted the code to the website to request permissions, then you will get the permissions within 24 hours in most cases ( i got it in 3 hours).
After that, you can unlock the normal way as described on the MIUI.com forum.
There was also a thread somewhere (miui.com i think) about a tool that should work, but after several people trying it was a hoax. You still had to unlock.
Also there is a way to change an USB cable, to put the phone in a special mode, but i did not have to use that.
ok thanks for your help... I waited for the unlock permission and then i use the fastboot method to flash the latest global rom.
If you are in the same situation and you don't recieve the permission i find a tuto who can help some of you, put i can't post the link so just google androidbrick mi5 and you will find the page.
zuk website don't pass to next step i don't know what to do ? am stuck i need the file .img the serial number 622a4b1b is ok model i put z2 pro email adress is fine but after that the website starts loading than crushes help please !!

write IMEI address and device serial number also mail address on Lenovo device the last one is security code after that will receive sn.img but if can help I can share with you which sn.img I received
I was with the same problem, i downloaded the unlock image from here: https://m.zui.com/iunlock
You need a SIM card in the phone. Give it a few hours and then you'll be able to use the official site unlock tool

planning to install lineage 19 or 20 on heart.
however i'm already having problems with the very first requirement which is the unlocked bootloader.
i have already sent a request to the lenovo site for the sn.img file but i still haven't received any e-mail from them (request sent from pc browser more than a month now).
tried different e-mail addresses and browsers but to no avail.
whenever i try to send request via phone browser, after filling up the required fields, the large blue send button becomes unresponsive.
apparently i'm not the only one having issues unlocking their bootloader for the first time.
has lenovo dropped support for unlocking bootloader on heart?
any workaround?
Did you sign in 1st with your Lenovo account? you need to do that before adding the details
